[ Crazy-- Counterattacks take place on the turn they happen-- prep beforehand doesn't take up an action. To make sure your counterattack's 8 damage isn't ignored, I've instead ignored one of your blunt attacks to keep the 4 action limit. Don't worry, still dealt huge heaps of damage! ^^ ]
Fire blazed out from Rip's palm, searing the final Pioneer Anomaly out of existence.
HUZZAH! THRONE ROOM: SAVED!
Rip's following chop made a successful bid for a Chiral Anomaly that had been vying for Rip, turning a near miss into a nick-- 1.5 damage to the beast. Rip would have to thank his lucky stars for that blow-- with his current level of Bladed Weapon training, it was roughly hit or miss at those fast foes!
And then Kairi stormed in, magic ablazing!
Kairi sent off a Fire spell--
It missed.
Kairi's following Light Burst spell hit the mark, however, knocking an airborne Chiral Anomaly off target, missing Cloud by a hair's breadth.
Ice and more light took to the air from Kairi's outstretched hand, suprising a second Chiral Anomaly with the onslaught of magic-- which was quickly followed up by Cloud's counterattack and ensuing blows! Massive damage dealt, the second Chiral Anomaly fell away to the ground in hopes of a reprieve!
But where was the third Anomaly?
...
No, not seeing it--
THUD.
The blackened remains of carpet underneath Kairi's feet twisted backwards just a smidge as someone-- or something-- fell from a terrible height for Kairi's backside, where it now stood unseen, behind the girl.
Rage was in the air. So tangible was this rage, that fire itself seemed across Kairi's back where this unseen monster stood.
The carpet pulled backwards again as the creature pushed its fist forward.
Titanic legs pushed backwards, supporting a malformed-- and vaguely human-- body, jutting a harsh row of spikes across the shoulder blades of this red and black monstrosity.
Its face was not so disimilar from the Chiral Anomaly's-- a sunken series of dim slots in a mishapen sphere, taking on the hideous misrepresentation of a face.
It was 9 feet tall.
And it had an aura that looked unwelcomly like the massive Storm which blazed the sky just outside, no doubt what made the beast's single fist equal in power to any Average ability.
Ladies and gentlemen, your boss-- the Bouger Anomaly.
On an unrelated note, Kyril was bodyslammed to the floor by the third Chiral Anomaly, dealing 8 damage to the sneaky little guy, trying to hide like that.

[HP=64/64] "Beyond the darkness, beyond the light...there is chaos. I know I have to be strong if I want to get rid of the chaos." As she ran through the courtyard, two spells were cast. Haste and Delay Spell [Wind]. Enhanced with great speed, she'd enter the Colonade where she'd look up to see quite the sight. "... that was when the panic button was pressed and rather rapidly at that. "Cloud!" she yelled out as she took off in a run." "...THREE of them, it caused her to run around in panic, she had no idea how to get them from their perch and she recalled they could use magic." "The third one depending on if it was back on the ceiling or not would be the one she'd attempt to keep an eye on as she ran around in a circle. Once it was in her sights, she'd be taking Aim at it, Red Rose Manifesting in her hands as she loaded up five arrows."
TL:DR, Kairi was always running and not just that, she was always on the lookout for a third Anomaly, well she was looking for a Chiral Anomaly whom had snuck away but what of another more bold Anomaly? The Bouger Anomaly was quick but Kairi was quicker! As it attempted to descend upon the running-in-circles Princess, she'd catch sight of it and thus the Delayed Wind Spell would take into affect, shrouding it's massive body as it emanated with a raging aura. It's efforts to effectively brain Kairi was easily avoided as the running Princess was well out of harms way whilst it winded up for a mighty punch. However, the Bouger was NOT out of harms way and was the Anomaly Kairi's sight and aim were upon. She'd unleash the prepared arrows (5), before launching two other sets of (5) . With each shot she'd attempt to strike it in various blindspots and close the gap. Firing off these arrows as any ranged weapon trainee would. Upon completition, Red Rose would fade with a flash of white and in it's place Majesty would emerge.
The redhead dashed in from behind the Bouger Anomaly, unleashing four devestating slashes with the power of a Bladed Weapon Student. The last slash was an attempt to push off from the Anomaly and get a bit of distance but it also came with a loud roaring sound. The ground crumpling as vines erupted from the blackened carpet and attempted to bind the 9 foot tall Anomaly. "EVERYONE GET BACK!" she yelled out to the allies for whom her "Hearts Resonance" told her about, even the one she couldn't quite see. With her forewarning Majesty's rage continued as it slammed into the ground, sending out a minor shockwave. It's force spreading out through the colonade within a 5 foot radius area, as well as 1 foot high. Considering the proximity, the 9 foot tall Anomaly would be easily impacted and knocked off balance (which it already had a limited balance due to it's attempt at a mighty punch before).
Kairi would thus stand with Majesty prepared, there were Chiral Anomaly still lurking and her mind was still very, very paranoid.

Kyril felt the breath knock out of his lungs as the Chiral Anomaly bounced off his back and sent him to the ground, feeling his bones threaten to break. He hissed several curses at the Anomaly under his breath, too pained to say it out loud. He struggled to his feet and aimed his crossbow at the Anomaly.
"You gutsy bastard," he snapped bitterly. Then he eyed the Bougar Anomaly. The girl seemed to be sugar-induced, running around in circles, impossible to hit. He watched as she attacked, and halfway through her actions turned his crossbow from the flying Anomaly to the Bouger Anomaly, and pulled the trigger as she slashed at it. Surely it couldn't block an attack on both fronts.
"Delightful skill," he muttered to himself, watching her magic sprout vines from the ground. He drew his sword, slinging the crossbow back over his back with no difficulty.
"EVERYONE GET BACK!"
He obeyed, backing away at a normal speed as the shockwave hit. He wasn't interested in being hit with anything she might dole out, that would possibly be very painful...

Rip backed away on command, ending up next to the blond with the huge sword. He couldn't help but be surprised at how much power that girl was bringing in. It was pretty impressive. As the attack faded though, he charged forward, trying to take advantage of her attack. He aimed for the enemies that had dropped from the ceiling, going for the weakened one in an attempt to take it down quickly, with a burst of both his rudimentary fire and lightning magics. From there, he'd try and move to take out the big one.

[ Brand, can I get some character chain linkage in your signature? I had trouble double checking how much damage the crossbow did. xD;
Also, DSA, could you explain the 5-arrows-one-action bit? I see it here in RP, but your profile doesn't mention anything to such effect! D: ] There was a brilliant thud as the huge, hulking Anomaly hit the floor under the weight of the onslaught the little girl had to supply. And Kyril. But Kyril less so.
No offense.
But with the thud came an unexpected wave of fire! A massive shockwave of fire and wind erupted out from the beast in response to the fall, sending four foot plumes out across a twenty-foot radius area from the Anomaly, dealing Average damage to all immediately nearby.
A surprise, to say the least! But with a careful ear-- B-CRACK!-- and it's clear the Bouger Anomaly is down! Pat yourselves on the back, guys!
Air blurred as the first of the Chiral Anomaly fell for Cloud, aiming to give the mercenary a solid eight points of damage before the next round was out.
Rip was right to keep moving, barely slipping past the third of the Chiral Anomaly as it passed right by him as he moved forward for the visible, falling second Chiral.
Which promptly exploded upon impact from Rip's spells. YES! A second B-CRACK! came from the fallen Bouger Anomaly. ... What? FWOOM Fire overtook the fallen Anomaly, a massive, unapproachable flame of nightmarish proportions. The fire stretched far higher than the Anomaly itself could, brushing up against the marble roof far above, painting black smears across the white. What was going on?! The Bouger Anomaly was still alive--Four Fireballs immediately shot out from within the flames for the Keyblade Weilder, each empowered by the now apparant abilities of Fire Mage and Fire Soul, giving the punch the full power of four damage... apiece... with three damage per round over the course of the next three rounds if hit. But at that distance, and that surprise, it'd be hard to-- WAIT PRIORITIES WHAT IS THE ANOMALY STILL DOING ALIVE?! Rip and Kairi would want to stop himself from getting too close to the firey Anomaly, lest the sheer waves of heat send the two of them unconcious. Regardless, Kairi's Earth Finish would only keep it down for the turn. You only get this turn to pray and prepare for whatever comes next... The hard part comes next. And while we're on the topic, where did the twin b-cracks come from?[/blockquote] ANOMALY REMAINING: 4

[Fixed, I put him in my sig. Click on the word delightful, since he seeems to have a particular liking for the word. xD]
Kyril hissed as he leaped out of the way of the fire, only to realize that he was already far away enough that he wouldn't be hit with the flames. But with only melee weapons at his disposal, besides a crossbow that would probably only kll the Anomaly if the arrows were made of fucking gold, how would he get to the Anomaly without being burned to cinders?
Cursing under his breath, he unstrapped his crossbow, dropping his sword to he ground as he grabbed another arrow from the quiver on his belt and slapped it onto the crossbow mechanism, clicking it home. Then he aimed for the Bougar Anomaly, and, hoping the flames wouldn't burn the arrow before it reached it, shot it at the downed Anomaly.
Once this fight was done, he was going to get a better ranged weapon. Maybe a handcannon would suffice.
A delightful challenge, but once it begins to hurt it's no longer a game.

Cloud leapt into the air to meet the Anomaly falling at him, the Buster Sword flashing dully as it swung through the air at the Chiral, aiming to send it smashing into the ground with his last blow.

OOC: Kairi has 15 arrows (which is indeed in my profile ; ), utilizing her skills as a trainee I got her to shoot that one extra arrow per shot (instead of four). Hope that clears everything =) [hp=64/64] "W-what is this...I don't even...What is this...feeling, dread?" Kairi's assault was...brilliant, the beast fell down and woah what in the world was that noise? It sounded like a firecracker went off...or something was breaking up? Kairi was confused and confusion only fueled her paranoia and with good reason. (Now here's where I'm a bit uncertain, is this shockwave occuring after Kairi's own, if so here's my response) Kairi had slammed the ground with her own shockwave in order to ensure that no physical action would be taken from this beast and hey, she was trying to finish it off in one fell swoop. She had been crouched down a bit hoping to protect herself from any possible chiral attack with her own shockwave. Her eyes kept locked onto the fallen Anomaly.
It's fall caused a shockwave of its own with fire flying out everywhere. Since Kairi was faster for the moment she'd attempt to line herself up farther away from the fallen beast and out of position from the creature's "Last Resort" (or so she figured). Still, there were other Anomaly in the area that she needed to deal with. Ones whom could pass through walls and things, thus with her paranoia on edge, she'd attempt the following:
Her lips moved so fast as she chanted a Protect Spell for herself and for Rip, whom was at least within her sights now that she'd cleared away from the fallen creature. Next, she'd cast Barrier upon herself and goodness, who was that guy hiding away? Well, she could sense his heart and thus he was certainly not an Anomaly. So she'd bless him with a Barrier spell as well. After which she heard that noise again and holy cow the fallen Anomaly was coated with an intense flame. "What is this thing a vengeful Anomaly or something?!" Kairi thought to herself but alas fireballs were shot and coming right for her. Now then depending on the circumstance of these fireballs, Kairi's actions would go as follows: Should they be all aimed at once then she'd instantly hit the deck for a Dodge Roll, combined with her enhanced speed, hopefully she'd be able to avoid the spells entirely. However, was this Anomaly capable of firing out each spell with some proper aim (thus anticipating a moving target), Kairi would hit the deck to avoid one fireball, dodge roll to avoid the next and run/run/and what run again with the skill of Basic Parkour and her haste to assist her. Still, if it wasn't entirely possible to avoid them all, no doubt it would be the last fireball to hit her and thanks to being smart with that Barrier spell, it wouldn't hurt as much but pain only made the red head rage (as would Majesty rage in response).
Once she was up on her feet though, she'd look towards the blazing behemoth with sheer terror (and anger if she got burned [will update on next post with the damage from that if that's your call]). A terror that she had felt from the first storm when she had to confront that Anomaly all by herself. Adding to her paranoia even further, she got on the move, running around rapidly because of her fear of the other lurking Anomaly but...but what could she do? Oh yeah, Chiral Anomaly were up near the roof? She'd enchant Majesty with Shock Infusion and prepare for any possible attack from them, after all with the Wind slowing down the speed of that fire Anomaly, combined with Earth Finish and Minor Shockwave, that thing wasn't going to MOVE anytime soon and when it would be, it'd be moving pretty slow. Yet even with that knowledge, Kairi was scared, how in the world did it survive her onslaught, quite frankly to her...it was impossible. So what could she do now? Run around like a crazy chick, yep...Delay Spell [Haste].

[ Thanks, Brand~!
Erm, DSA, I'm still kinda of the assumption that it's one arrow per action. ^^;; Perhaps I've overlooked something in the rules or your abilities, but I'm not seeing any abilities that would give you that kind of (scary) output! Maybe Rapid Shot would do the trick, but I don't see Kairi as having that just yet. And the weapon description for Red Rose doesn'T have anything to the effect of multiple arrows in one shot in its design!
I'm not going to call for a retcon, no worries, but I'm still confuzzled! Could you tell me how four-arrows-one-action works? ] Kyril's single shot, aimed well and true, could not stand the ferocious fire the Anomaly had raised in retribution. It burned midair, sending it tumbling to the ground in smoldering pieces before the downed Anomaly. The fire, indifferent to Kyril's attack, didn't seem to alert the downed Bouger Anomaly to Kyril's presence.
He, um... he was going to have to get another one made when he got back to the Radiant Garden.
Cloud was lucky. His leap upwards did not count as a dodge roll and, the lucky little mercenary, managed to put off the Chiral Anomaly's initial attack, shocking it backwards with the first-- BAMF-- and the second blows. These two blows unfortunetly knocked the Anomaly too far away for the third strike to land, leaving the Chiral Anomaly to fall away into the ground once more. [ Four damage to first Chiral! ]
And then Rip died.
The Chiral Anomaly above him, unseen by the man, brought the massive club-arms down on the man's shoulders, sending the man tumbling with the red monster to the ground where-- where his head hit the cold marble stone, only exacerbated by the Anomaly's indifferent weight.
Protect wasn't going to stop a direct blow to the head like that.
Rip faded away, his shadow lingering only a moment past his moment.
[ Rip sent to Underworld, as per request! ]
Kairi's attempts to dodge were met with painful indifference. The four fireballs, fired directly one after the other in such a rapid succession that only a small amount of maneauvering was an option for them, would slam en masse, one directly after the other with no opportunity to flee, into Kairi if she instinctively hit the deck rather than dodge rolled, which would make for a very painful 12 damage. Conversely, if she'd noted they were sent in a stream and gone for the dodge roll, the roll would manage to sidestep the first two fireballs, but leave her regrettably open for the final two fireballs for eight damage. Complicated, hard to predict business. I shake my hands at it!
It was at this point, with a third B-CRACK, that the lumbering mass of lit Anomaly began to thunder with strained effort. Kairi's magically wrought foliage began to wither under the force of the impassable fire, leaving very little between it and standing up.
So it stood up. It did not take as much effort as it perhaps should have, leaning upwards with a sound undiscernable, and, and, and hefting itself onto its feet with a throw of the arms forward. A few blackening scraps of what remains of Kairi's Earth Finish fell away with the rise, the fire effectively knocking them off like a distasteful throw of the hand.
This horrible fire, seemingly made from some unseen power within the Bouger Anomaly, permitted no single thing from touching its craggy red body. It was a barrier-- one that left it seemingly untouchable for the forseeable future, leaving all attacks made after the fire was raised thoroughly useless-- raised in response to Kairi's humoungous power.
Kairi's power.
Kairi.
The Bouger Anomaly turned to look at the girl holding the Keyblade, giving off the appearance of insanity with the fervent circle-running.
...
Hmmmmmm.
The Bouger Anomaly sent off a Fireball at the girl, more for spite than anything. Its priorities were now elsewhere.
The Anomaly stepped forward.
With the step, a shockwave of four foot high flames erupted outwards with the strength of an Average ability.
And with a second step, the shockwave erupted out at the same 20-foot radius.
And again.
This was a passive ability. Keep your distance or get above ground level!
Wood blasted into smoldering pieces with the third step, carrying the titanic Anomaly forward.
Through the Throne Room doors.
Three more shockwaves wavered through the doorway as the Bouger Anomaly moved onwards, for a different target entirely.
Thud, thud!
The two remaining Chiral Anomaly hit the floor before the now open doorway and, not wasting a moment, backflipped into the now open room.
There was a moment of silence.
And then a single, feminine scream erupted from within the room.
The party's moved! Pack up and get to the Audience Chamber, stat! [ Job well done, all! The Colonnade's been cleared, and we're moving on to the Audience Chamber! OOC: Before any of us makes our exit posts, I think a few points need to be clarified. Whether we upgrade or not will our usages of abilities be restored? Will our HP carry over into the next thread? Will Status effects be carried over into the next thread. Next question, the damage on those fireballs. What's the base damage as Kairi has Barrier on herself too so I wanted to confirm that. Next up, the four arrow's a post is easy to explain. You load each arrow between your fingers/thumb before pulling back on the drawstring to fire. Thus devistating damage hehe ^^; I went for a stretch with five given the fantasy nature, so gomen xD
Last bit of questioning, who's NPCing this Final Thread I mean...all available people are in this thread...D= Will post exit after response to questions (So I can calc damage/possibly update abilities/etc)

OOC Actually, we're changing over threads specifically so that HP gets a much needed reset button to the head! The rules (see: Roleplay Rules) state that Uses reset between battles in a single thread, and that Uses and HP reset from a thread's get-go. It's not just for organization we're making up a final thread for the final hoedown! Though that helps. -nod-nod-
The fireballs, you'll be interested to know, are actually the spell Fireball Lv1 from the Shop! Weak Specialty, but with the help of the aforementioned Fire Soul spell, the fireballs manage to top out at 4 damage.
*slams gavel on non-existent desk*
I, ROCKET, DO DECLARE THIS USE OF THE ARROWS IN SUCH A MANNER AS THAT FOUR (maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaybe five) MIGHT BE SHOT IN ONE GO IS LEGAL! PERHAPS A LITTLE FUDGEY AND DESERVING OF MAJOR EYEBROW WIGGLINESS, BUT VERY MUCH LEGAL!
Obligatory adminly response: "Daijobu, but... abuse will result in noogies and nerfing. But not nerfing of noogies."
Most finally, I'll be handling the final thread's QM and Plot Team responsibilities. (And will make it my priority one accordingly. (FORGIVE ME, SQUEAKY, I DIDN'T EXPECT THIS WEEKEND TO BE QUITE SO FULL!) Accordingly, when Crazy's Storm Day thread ends and the characters there are set to join up in the Audience Chamber hoedown, my Akilah will bow out while everyone else goes on to join the battle.
That's all I got. xD Any other last minute questions needing a fast public answer?
