Name: Kairi
Race: Human
Age: 14
Gender: Female
Your Decisions Will Decide the Outcome of the Universe

Appearance:
At first glance, Kairi comes off as a short girl for her age. She sports red hair which is cut short. The bangs at the front are parted slightly to the right and reach just past the eyes. They also serve to frame her visage. Speaking of visage, Kairi has a rounded cheeks, making for a soft and innocent look. Her eyes are violet in hue, which goes along wuite well with her hair. She has a thin frame and doesn't appear to be physically trained or tonned in anyway.
For her attire she wears a black tanktop with a white collar underneath a second tanktop which has thin purple straps. Around her neck is a black neckband followed by a necklace. The necklace contains a sole yellow ornament with a black strap connecting it. Said tanktop falls a bit short exposing her belly button. Along her arms, on the left side she has a purple arm band, followed by a yellow sports wristband. Along the right side she has a black and yellow bangle.
To compliment the tanktop, she wears a pink mini skirt with a purple belt. It falls just before the knees followed by matching footwear. Kairi's big shoes are more open-ended towards the back. They take on a white colour along the top and bottom base, featuring pink highlighting across the middle. There's also purple indexed at the toe and towards the heel. These shoes don't have laces ber say but rather a yellow strap connecting to a black hub. This is used to adjust the grip on the feet itself (yay observation skills) and still fashionable.
Personality:•General Persona: Kairi is a very caring individual, with a strong sense of empathy. Despite her life within the Bastion causing her to be withdrawn, it's easy for her to make bonds with people. Through these bonds, she can tap into a level of courage and determination which is quite admirable. All of that in order to protect the people most important to her. The presence of intellectuals in her life has really rubbed off on Kairi. Be that because of the many books she's surrounded by or the guidance of her grandmother, this redhead has knowledge and wisdom beyond her years. This trait only adds to her cheerful disposition, it's not easy to keep Kairi down. Her loyalty to those around her is also quite admirable. She will do anything in her power to help people. She's quite headstrong and in more recent years stubborn to a point. Her stubborness manifests when it involves her friends, in her case...not being able to see/be with them. An interesting quirk about her personality, is her strange sense of humour. If you didn't know the girl very well, you'd be easily fooled. Her knowledge/wisdom only makes it that much more believable. Regardless, her jokes are never inspite and she'll let on to her jokes at the end.
•Inner Thought Process: Kairi operates on a sense of balance, she's sensitive to factors which upset the good vibe that each person has. In that way, it's easy to see how much empathy she has. When she detects something is wrong, she won't let it go until its resolved. This applies to all kinds of things, such as keeping secrets or lying. Since she is quite headstrong, Kairi prefers to make the best of every situation. In that way, she can take many things in stride. It also means she lacks a strong desire for information as most intellectuals do. What's unknown today, can be discovered in time. There's no need to upset the balance of things in order to find out. Sometimes doing too much is as disasterous as doing too little.
•Fears: Kairi's biggest fear is being alone, the feeling that comes with being alone is so overwhelming, that she prefers to distract herself with other activities. In her case, it usually meant reading or doing activities which would allow her to have company, like fencing. If it wasn't for her little adaptations (doing various activities so she'd have company), she'd feel all alone. Another fear for Kairi is something happening to those she cares about. It just so happens that she cares about everyone she meets in one way or the other.
•Pleasures: When it comes to pleasures, Kairi truly is a simple girl. Spending time with people you care about is perhaps the greatest joy for her. Well at least that's what it is at the moment. These precious moments, create wonderful memories. Memories that can be kept onto forever, which makes it at the top of her list. Coming in a very distant second is the various activities she does. With the countless stories told to her orally by her Grandmother or the ones she read on her own, they keep her entertained. The third pleasure is humour, Kairi loves people who can make her laugh. It's quite a touching thing, humour that is. It should be no wonder that Kairi also likes to make people laugh too. It's one of the quickest ways to cheer someone up, a medicine for the soul.
•Quirks: Kairi's biggest quirk is her humour, that strange way she has of getting people to laugh. It's unpredictable, which leaves those close to her in a bit of shock before they start laughing themselves. Kairi's second quirk is how spontaneous she can be. When someone's feeling down or just bored, leave it to Kairi to come up with something to do.But With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility

But Your History Decides Your Version of "Responsibility"
History:
There was no mother that she could call to. There was no father that she could hold onto. For as long as she could remember, her world revolved around two people. Her grandmother, who filled in the role of "Mother" and Ansem the Wise, who filled the role of father. What happened to her parents was never made clear to her, when she initially asked, she was told she'd understand someday. Words that would not be encouraging to most, were taken completely at face value for the red head. Thus as she grew up within the Bastion, she never asked about them. She had her family (which she considered everyone who lived/worked in the Bastion to be family) and this was all she needed. Well, that was all she needed in the first six years of her life. At the age of seven, she became curious with the world outside those walls. There was a town of people living their lives and it made her curious. At times when the Seeker of Truth was not busy with his disciples, he'd take Kairi into town. Each experience being a new adventure, a cherished memory that she kept.
Often she would come into contact with a wizard, a wise resident and friend of Ansem the Wise. This would become a place away from home, where she would read the various books in their repitoire. Of course where there is a Wizard, there is magic. Watching the old Wizard go about his day with magic, has made Kairi curious. Thus learning magic became one of the many activities Kairi did in order to not be alone. These activities started around the age of seven and there are lots more people whom Kairi has bonded with as a result. Yet before we can venture into the specifics of these activities, we must first understand them. Within the Castle walls, there are no people within Kairi's age range. Which makes for no playmates for the young child. Between the ages of four to six, this wasn't much of a problem. At seven, Kairi was exposed enough to the town that she wanted to play with kids her age.
Ah but how could she? Kairi was in the Bastion and the kids, well they were in town. So to compensate, Kairi decided to fill her day with various activities. A little bit of time with various people around the castle helped to ease the loneliness. So this next incident came more as an answer to Kairi's wishes. On a day when everyone was too busy to spend time with Kairi, she had spent most of her time in the garden. It was just a bit of reading, which in itself turned into a fun time, but it was about to get even better. Just as Kairi was about to put down her book, her eyes detected someone walking along the edge of the garden. She didn't stick to the bushes or shadows like a proper ninja should. Though she did at least attempt to crouch low, though had she been observant enough she could have detected the red head sitting in the center.
Kairi called out to the girl, it was far from theatening too. It was actually just simple curiosity which caught the girl's attention. Once the girl approached and introduced herself, the rest was history. For shortly after their meeting, one of the guards would come to get Kairi for lunch. Easily spotted, Yuffie would be "escorted" out of the castle. From there on out, she tried to sneak in constantly. Eventually learning where Kairi's room was and luring the red head out of the castle whenever she could. Yep, there's to another seven years and counting of an interesting friendship.
Sometime after, around the age of ten, Kairi had taken up fencing. Through fencing with an enthusiast at the castle, Kairi was able to meet a young man with great potential. This meeting left a positive impact on the young man and soon he'd go on to become one of Kairi's friends. Little by little, bonds were made to people outside those imposing walls. Which would take us to present times. How much of that world outside could truly be explored?
