Appearance: A dark tan and bright yellow eyes adorn the face of Akilah, with sharp brown hair that hangs about languidly at random lengths-- some to her eyebrows, some to her shoulders, some not seen, some typical. A slightly angled in face and frame, dually wise and full of tricks. No longer quite a young woman, her stance is as strong and worn as her once brown now spattered with grey coat comprised soley of pockets facing inward. She doesn't stand out in a crowd at 5'9", and between her cloak's hood and clever use of a ponytail holder, she can blend with the best of them or stand out like a blue pumpkin. A light shirt under the loose but heavy cloak, along with pants suited to battle and strong boots of... not leather, but something like it.
Personality:•General Persona: Wise of the world, but yet young enough to enjoy the thrill of doing the inane, Akilah has the wisdom and tenacity of a trickster. Having no moral value to her name, she acts upon instinct and interest in all matters. Her instinct has her act resevedly, under normal circumstances-- until actually involved in a circumstance, her words will be sharp and quick, nothing less than effecient and only enough to get the job done. When dedicated to the experience, however, she swings the whole of her personality into the fray with a sharp tongue and incredible intellect. Behind clever words and quick steps are purpose, however-- all designed to bring about the desired or expected reaction from all others.
•Inner Thought Process: Not unlike that of a computer or master tactician. A flow of words and a stream of concious notices, among which the relevant and interesting are plucked and used like a deck of cards. Akilah has a tendancy to prioritize the little details, though, when she should be focusing on the bigger picture.
•Fears: Destruction through her own error. Her wily ways lead her down a cavern's edge at many times-- she'd hate to be the one to push herself over.
•Pleasures: Creating a circumstances in which someone-- or multiple someones-- have a moment of sheer dawning realization of the worst kind. Like, for example, attacking from above. It's simply beautiful, the expression on their faces when they see the shadow, and can't help but look up with that slackjawed expression.

But Your History Decides Your Version of "Responsibility"

Akilah Aultman was born to two magicians in Radiant Garden. One an expert of the highest degree, one a failure of the highest degree.
They both disappeared under mysterious circumstances before she was not yet twelve. Multiple sources detail them as having left of their own volition, sneaking away in the dead of night with many a suitcase in hand, fearing the tax collector. Somewhat ironic they left their child then, hmm?
Without a proper pair of parents, Akilah took to the streets. With some effort, she was able to maintain a facade of confidence and tutelage-- she self-taught herself what magic she could from left books, and went about pretending her parents still remained.
It didn't last too long, despite her cunning nature. Her father, greatly known in certain magical circles, was quickly missed and looked into.
Akilah was fifteen when she left the city Radiant Garden altogether, away from prying interests and the like. It's done a fair job on her now stale magical know-how, but it taught her how to go about living her own road and gave her far more wisdom than some could obtain in their whole lives.
She's not bothered to share stories with anyone upon her return just last year-- very few even remembered her or her parents, she's happy to say.
In whatever far corner of the world she went to, she must've hardened up quite a bit.
Now she's reintroducing herself to Radiant Garden, offering lessons in mechanical knowhow and basic magic lessons for munny. Her pupils call her a strange one, but swear she certainly gets the job done quickly and well.
More recently, she's been poking around the Borough. Not often enough to attract much attention, but some people are asking questions to themselves...
