Blazed Soul's Pokemon Hard Mode Run

Well, Ralts are strong for pretty much the whole game if you can keep them alive. They turn into cute death machines.

I have arrived in Rustboro City. On the way there, inside the Petalburg Woods, I caught a Wurmple. I named him Vexen, and within one level, he evolved into a Silcoon. Through random encounters and trainer battles, all my pokemon are at, or above level 9, with Luxord the strongest at level 11. I am not going to challenge the gym now, instead going on to collect a fifth team member, and get my pokemon to the even level of 10.

My fifth member has been collected, a Whismur whom I've named Roxas. I will quickly train him up to level 10, and then challenge Roxanne.

I've been....busy. I have not had time to play.

Before challenging Roxanne, I proceeded into the Rusboro Cave to retrive the DEVON GOODS and Peeko. This was an easy battle, though I did not keep the pokemon caught in the cave, another Whismur. On the way back to Rustboro, I achieved my goal of a minimum level of 10, which caused Vexen to evolved into a Beautifly.

My battle with Roxanne culminated with a tragic victory. I had thought that Vexen would fair well against Roxanne due to his possession of the move Psychic, which was now shared by Zexion. However, I failed to take into account that Beautifly was Bug/Flying, and Vexen was killed within the first turns of battle, after delivering a decisive blow to Roxanne's Geodude. After that though, a combination of Zexion's psychic to finish off Geodude and deliver a blow to Nosepass before being relieved by Luxord finished off Roxanne's team. I will mourn Vexen, and consign him to the Graveyard.

I have headed onward though, towards Dewford Town. On the way, my team was pushed up to a minimum level of 11, with Luxord leading at 12.

Current Team: Luxord (Treecko), Zexion (Ralts), Xaldin (Zigzagoon), Roxas (Whismur).
