Vir took another scratch from the back this time, he winced a little bit but he turned around and gave the Shadow a good punch in the face. As for the other Shadows that were now making for attacks onto him, Vir decided to back off and let them come to him as he readied himself for them.

GACKPT! Vir's punch to the Shadow's face thoroughly surprised it! In the moment where it was shaking its head, Vir leaped backwards. The five raised Shadows weren't going to give up quite so easily! They charged forward, one big huddled mass, for the star hero as fast as their tiny legs could carry them! [ Note: Currently Round 5/7! ][hp=3/8]

With all those Shadows coming at him at once in a group, was just what the priest had pray for. Vir dashed forward doing a sideway slash into the grouping of Shadows.

BUT THERE WERE TOO MANY! Vir's slash knocked three of the group back-- even banished one of them, but the huddle of Heartless was too big to get in just one slash! The other two proceeded to strike Vir, and then try again! [ 1 damage per hit, just got hit twice! ][hp=3/8]

With the Shadows coming at him, Vir was scratched by both Shadows. In retailiation, Vir turned around using the momentum of the spin to attack the two Shadows. Then jumping into the air, Vir went for a downward strike onto the remaining Shadows.

It was a difficult leap, but Vir managed to just get the last two Heartless in one blow. Vir had made it past Round 1! Phil... didn't seem too impressed. He took another sip from his mug, gulped it down, and offered Vir this for advice: "Gotta start usin' your head, kid," the satyr said with a small shake of his head. "Plan a bit more-- you won't make it past the next round unless you can do that." And with those lovely parting words, black mist fell on the arena again, unveiling two Shadows fo-- They're Mega Shadows. Sh-----~ROUND 2~
SHADOW BLOCKADE Two Mega Shadows stood facing Vir, their heads twirling a little, and their claws glowing with a faint purple aura. Where Shadows were maybe up to Vir's knees, these monstrosities could easily reach Vir's waist in sheer size. And they charged forward. [ Advance notice: Mega Shadows deal 4 damage per scratch! Vir started backtracking as he took in Phil's advice
Okay... okay... plan... plan... plan... need a plan, need a plan.
Nothing came to mind at the moment so the best that Vir could do was turn back around do what he does.
Vir charged for the two Megashadows and doing a jump just above their heads, he sliced one landing on his feet again and extending the distance between him and them.
[RECAP: With no plan in the works, Vir turns back around using Jump Boost to just be above them and do a slash on one of the Megashadows.]

ROUND 2/7 BAMFT!Vir's blade sliced across the back of the first Mega Shadow as the fighter cleared the air above the two charging Mega Shadows. The Mega Shadows stopped in their charge. Looked at each other. And turned around for Vir again, reaching out in an attempt to scratch him-- Mega Shadow

Vir turned by swing his leg around to face the attacking Megashadows.
Vir jumped backed dodging the attacks then running along the left side of the Megashadows doing a slash at the left Megashadow. Then coming back around to slash the right one and then running off to really try to figure out something.

ROUND 3/7 Vir managed to dodge the initial charging attack made by the yet ferocious Mega Shadows, leaping back as he did. But he made a mistake. Vir charged forward, for the left Mega Shadow's side-- Vir charged from the Mega Shadow's front. The Mega Shadow saw him coming. And scratched the Olympian hero-in-training, giving the teen a solid 4 damage, and sending him back a few feet. The boy's blade remained unsatisfied, not touching the Mega Shadow's great body in the conflict that had ensued. Not content with that simple blow, the two Mega Shadows continued their rough charge forward, intending to harm Vir once more. Mega Shadow

There wasn't enough time to react to his own mistake as he was knocked back. He bounced and rolled but pulled himself back up, and spun his sword and then ready himself for what is coming to him.

ROUND 4/7 Phil immediately set his glass down as he saw what was about to transpire. "Oi! OI!" the legendary satyr shouted, clearly irate. "You don't just stand there--" Too late. The two Mega Shadows rammed Vir, sending the trainee tumbling to the floor. And then they swarmed him, lashing out with their claws at the tripped hero-in-training. 8 damage to Vir. Phil brought his palm to his face. "Kid-- kid! Get outta there!" Mega Shadow

Vir took the blunt force which wouldv'e knocked him off really bad but with the force he turned it around by throwing the blade in a counter then bouncing backward even more with the momentum he made.
[RECAP: Having prepared himself before, when he was rammed he used the force of the blow using it as momentum as he used a Basic Counterattack then Dodge Rolling backwards to dodge the attacks]

GO VIR, GOOOOOOO![/i] ][/size] ROUND 5/7 SWWR went Vir's blazing blade as it slid through the air, slicing both of the charging Mega Shadows in the face, and shocking both of them back a step as Vir rolled backwards. [ 4 damage to each Mega Shadow! ]The two Heartless shook their heads, thoroughly surprised, and immediately took to the ground-- slipping into a maybe slightly obese two-dimensional form in an effort to surprise the hero-in-training. They moved in circles, like their lesser bretheren, attempting to confuse Vir as the crisscross this way and that, circling around him... And Phil fell back into his chair, mentally willing his blood pressure to back off. Was not expecting the kid to pull through. Mega Shadow

While the shadows started circle'n around him, Vir was more concentrated on get Stella back and so he made dash for it while reaching into his pocket and pulling out a Potion.
