Appearance:Marcus is tall, standing at a height of 6'3". He has a toned and athletic build like that of an acrobat. He has long messy brown hair that comes down to his chin, and parts over the right side of his face. His eyes are a lighter shade of blue that almost seem to glow. His skin though once pale, now has a slight tan to it. His facial features are defined and rugged, making him look a bit wild. His usual outfit consists of forest green cargo pants that have a worn-in look to them over brown hiking boots. A faded dark brown leather belt holds up the pants. He wears a tight, black, hooded short-sleeve shirt that is made out of some kind of leather-like material. He wears an orange sash that’s ripped and torn at the edges and has a black tribal design covering it. The sash wraps around his waist and then comes down over his left leg, covering it to his knee. Hanging from his belt on the right side of his waist is a dark brown leather holster that holds his revolver, Lucky Seven. He also wears a leather necklace with a piece of white crystal hanging from it.
Personality:•General Persona:Marcus is a joker. He likes to crack jokes and have fun as much as he can. As much of a joker as he is though, he's pretty laid back. He doesn't let much affect him, and takes most things in stride. He tends to say just what is needed most at the moment, showing a wisdom that one wouldn't expect to find in him. If he ever does get riled up though, its almost like he turns into an animal, ferocious and wild.
•Inner Thought Process:Though Marcus seems laid back and care-free on the outside, he is very cautious and animalistic on the inside. He's always looking over his shoulder for a predator,or other types of danger, and looking around for prey, though he usually doesn't show it.
•Fears: Marcus is afraid of civilazation, though he doesn't show it. He's afaid of how they might treat him when they see how he's changed, how much more wild he's become. He's also afraid to lose control of his humanity again.
•Pleasures: Marcus likes laughter, plain and simple. He likes to make people laugh and to laugh himself. When he was stranded in the jungle alone, laughter was what he missed the most. That’s why he goes out of his way to find it now.
•Quirks:Marcus has a tendency to play in just about every thing he does. He plays with his food while he's eating. He plays with interesting things he finds. Hell, he even plays with his enemies in battle if they aren’t that big of a threat. But Your Power is What Keeps You Alive

And Your History Shows What You Have Been and What You Will Become
History:
Once upon a time, Marcus Reverend was a regular boy. Well, as regular as you can get with whom his parents were. His parents were archeologists, chemists, researchers and all around scientists. They haled from America, but with how much they traveled the world, that didn't really matter to them or their son. They always took Marcus with them where ever they went, allowing him to see the world and learn much. Because he was home schooled by his parents, he was able to learn a lot of things that kids his age, well, didn't. He was a bit of a bookworm and spent most of his time studying when he wasn't helping his mother or father on some project.
A few days after his thirteenth birthday, his mother and father decided their next stop was the wild African Jungles. A lot of scientists and researchers had been heading there in recent years to see what they could find. One of the more popular topics of research in the region was the gorillas, though the Reverends were not as interested in such a topic. They were going there to see if the rumors of ancient ruins being located somewhere in the jungle were true. So after a few days of the announcement, the family shipped off.
When they arrived in Africa they set up camp deep into the jungle. They spent their days searching the area for signs of the ruins, but got side tracked by the many other interesting things they found. By their second week in, the Reverends were side tracked from their original goal by the dozens of side projects they had started over their stay here. While there, Marcus learned a lot about the jungle, the different flora and fauna that made its home in the jungle, what could be used for what, and the dangers that were omnipresent in the jungle.
It was a great time for the family, but it changed in a single night. The Reverends were celebrating their one month anniversary of arriving in the jungle under the light of the full moon. They danced and feasted. After a while they settled down and just relaxed like a family. It was peaceful, until they attacked. Out of nowhere, a large group of panthers and jaguars stormed the camp and started to tear everything apart. Mr. Reverend went to hold them off while Mrs. Reverend hid Marcus in a wardrobe. It didn't take long for the jungle cats to kill Mr. and Mrs. Reverend. It was only by luck that Marcus wasn't found, but he saw everything.
The shock from seeing such a horrible event caused him to shut himself away almost completely, allowing a more primal part of his brain to take control. He became little more than a beast of instinct, more so than even most of the animals in the forest. He just hunted, ate, washed, slept, and overall survived. It wasn't until a year later that he seemed to regain himself. The part of him that he locked away, his humanity, awoke, but the primal part of his brain didn't go back to sleep. To him it was like waking up from a dream. He didn't remember everything clearly, but he knew what he did and could do.
It was after that that he returned to his family's camp site and fixed it up. He salvaged what he could and used what was broken to make new things. He kept on doing what he had done for the past year, just survive, but he also started to read and study again when he had the free time. A month after he woke up while he was out hunting, he found a stone door way of sorts that lead into a cave. His curiosity peaked; he decided to enter the cave and almost cried at what he found inside. It was the ancient ruins that his parents had been looking for, so close to their campsite.
After dealing with his joy, sorrow and anger at finding something his parents should have, he decided to explore the cave. He found many interesting things in the ruins, including the sword he would later name Wild Thorn. It didn't take him long to decided to move his camp into the ruins, but some things are easier said than done. It took him a month to move the entire camp into the ruins, bit he did manage it. And so he made the cave his home as he studied, trained, survived, and grew for three years.
