Your Destiny is to Venture Upon It

Name: Rashid Reedman
Race: Human
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Your Decisions Will Decide the Outcome of the Universe

Personality:•General Persona: A sly and sarcastic character, Rashid is often the antagonist in most situations. His condescending demeanor with chiding remarks makes for a very bad impression on most people, though they often seem to admire his thieving persona for he performs the acts that many do not have the courage to carry out. He always has the last word and will often never back down from a fight. He may make some sort of half-handed retreat only to reveal it is a sneak attack from the side. Rashid is cheap, underhanded, and completely a bad influence. At least, that’s how he makes it seem. You may occasionally catch a glimpse of the true Rashid, but that’s another story.
•Inner Thought Process: Rashid, at heart, is just a man trying to make his way through the hustle and bustle of his everyday life. Sure, he’s condescending and will generally steal without a second thought, but don’t think that this means he’s just a bad guy. No, Rashid generally has some sort of standard morals, whether it be not taking advantage of the weak or showing some decency to a royal. Everything to Rashid is a critical decision and he does not make any move unless he has a follow-up tactic planned. Being raised in Agrabah, you learn that even the most ridiculous things will happen and you need to be prepared.
Unless your prepared to part with your hand, of course.
•Fears:
Fear is an emotion not often felt by Rashid. A rebellious and arrogant attitude often shows that one is not very fearful and/or thinks very highly of themselves. However, the humane fear of early death is something that is very unnerving to Rashid. He may live a risky life, but he shall never take a chance that he does not have planned out to such a degree it is extremely unlikely he will fail.
•Pleasures:
Adrenaline is the one thing that brings pleasure to Rashid. He loves thrill and adventure and will often never turn down a challenge. Money brings thrill to Rashid, and thus he does his best to earn it where he can.
•Quirks: Despite being greedy and having a very bad sarcasm issue, Rashid is actually quite normal. But With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility

Secondary Weapon Name: Crossbow
Secondary Weapon Type: Ranged
Secondary Weapon Description:
A well-made crossbow stolen from the royal guard armory, this weapon is quite powerful and can easily shoot bolts up to one-hundred and fifty feet with generally no hindrances. Rashid carries 75 of these bolts in a quiver on his back and he can generally fire up to 3 a post, assuming his crossbow is loaded and ready.
Secondary Weapon Name: Rope

A length of rope measuring approximately 25 feet (two and a half stories), this “weapon” has a grapple hook attached to the end of one side. This is very useful for climbing buildings or, if it is truly needed, setting up elaborate traps to entangle an enemy.

But Your History Decides Your Version of "Responsibility"
History:
Have you ever been to a place where the city streets are just as dangerous as the middle of a desert or the heart of battle? A place where crime is fervent and law is strict? No? Then you have not been to the wondrous city of Agrabah. A paradise in the middle of a long-forgotten desert, Agrabah is truly an oasis for travelers who have long lost their way and are on their last knees. In fact, this is how many new residents come to this city. Many are forced to stay there for information on where the next town is kept highly secret, especially from normal individuals.
This would be how Nadia Reedman and her three sons came upon the city of sandstone. Albach Reedman, the husband and father of the family, had died in a terrible sandstorm a few weeks earlier. With no person truly experienced in hunting, they were about to starve to their death when young Rashid caught glimpse of a castle in the distance. His mother thought he was delusional and began to sob. However, when he pulled her head to look at the city, she was filled with joy, almost dragging her starved sons to the Oasis.
Coming upon the city, the family was greeted by hostile guards who at first told the starved and thirsty group to leave. However, the captain of the guards, being a greedy and rather selfish man, let the family into the city on one condition; the mother of the three children would stay with him as long as she resided within the city. Her “companions” as he called them, would find their residence in a small, cramped storage building he had in the back of his large estate.
But just about anything was better than staying in the desert. A cramped storage shed included.
The next few weeks passed as a blur to young Rashid. His ribcage began to not be so obvious and the color returned to his skin. As far as their physical health went, the three siblings and their mother looked better each day.
But Rashid wasn’t exactly satisfied being taken care of like he was some sort of wild dog. After his strength and general physical demeanor had replenished and even grown some, Rashid began to do what none of his other siblings or even his mother had the courage to do; steal. Each time he was let in to his mother’s abode, he would carefully pickpocket some sort of tasty food or expensive (yet small) item to sell on the black market later in the night. The captain of the guards, being too focused on the boy’s mother, did not notice for the most part.
These small acts of thieveries made Rashid’s ego grow larger and larger until the point that he considered himself a brilliant thief. However, tales of men passing through walls and disappearing in the shadows only made him want to become better. Thus, Rashid began to steal outside his humble abode as he would scour the city at night, sneaking into people’s homes with little to no concern for their well-being…
This would be how the young rogue stumbled upon his first teachings of the arcane arts. It was a cold night, as most nights in the desert were, and Rashid had snuck into an old man’s slightly elegant house. Rashid came upon a shelf of very strange looking books with no titles, nor no symbols or markings to indicate their contents. At first, Rashid found these things to be rather pointless and journals of some sort.
And what it night it was for Rashid to have some spare time on his hands. He thought “Well, it’ll be fun to see how the old man spent his life. I’d like to live in a place like this…”
Opening the books, Rashid found himself entranced in the magical words and techniques until near morning. Leaving the man’s house right before sunset, he would find himself more energetic, ready to take on the world. The ebb of magic had been bestowed in the boy, and he has been training it ever since.
Years have gone by, and young Rashid has grown into a person that is nearly a man. He is still a thief, and often makes elaborate escapes from guards in the middle of the day. However, he still lives in that cramped storage shed…
