Your Decisions Will Decide the Outcome of the Universe

Appearance: Yang is an odd man, looking young, but his eyes hold a kind of haunted look normally held by someone who has survived too many wars. He has average build, wearing dark brown pants and a plain grey shirt. Over that, he wears a tattered brown cloak, held together enough that he can cover himself, but is torn in multiple places all over the cloak. His eyes are a pale blue, with flecks of dark red in them, and his hair is a bright white, nearly shining in the sunlight.
Personality:•General Persona: Yang is a quiet man, uncomfortable with talking to others. He's distant from most people due to his long life and bond with a seemingly inanimate object. When he does speak, he is unfailingly polite, though he seems to be detached from the conversation.
•Inner Thought Process: Yang is as calm on the inside as he is on the outside, though his thoughts are darker than his actions. He is constantly, as he puts it, "looking for someone to end his suffering," though what exactly his suffering entails, wheter the bond to Metsubou or his life in general, is unknown to all but him.
•Fears: The only thing that this cursed man fears is the blade he wields, and the powers it has not yet shown him.
•Pleasures: He finds pleasure in observing the lives of others around him, innocent and untainted by the world.
•Quirks: None, save for slightly suicidal, if futile, tendencies. But With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility

But Your History Decides Your Version of "Responsibility"
History: Yang was, once, a normal man, with a small family in the mountains of the planet known as The Land of Dragons. Once. This changed when he came into the possesion of the cursed blade known as Metsubou, which he took up to defend his home from bandits. As he did so, the blade decided to make him it's "host" of sorts, and took into account what held him to this place. Exactly three days after he and his village fought off the bandits, the entire population of the town save Yang died from a mysterious diasease, which swiftly hit the town, killing all inside and near it. As this ended, Metsubou spoke to Yang, telling him what it had done, and that he was now "the wielder." Horrified, Yang attempted to get rid of the sword, but to no avail, as no matter what he did, he would always find the sword in the scabbard on his belt. Years passed as Yang tried to find a way to free himself from the cursed dao, and over those years, Yang realized the full extent of what had been done to him: He no longer aged, and could not die by his own hand. The blade had molded him, changed him fundamentally from human so that he could wield it always. He followed the blades whims for years, killing where it willed, and listening only to it's voice, and paying no heed to those who begged for their lives and the lives of others. The orders drove him to the edge of his sanity, and he began to avoid people, just to keep from having to kill them. And so, Yang became a hermit, living alone in the snowy mountains, with only the whispers of the cursed blade to keep him company. Years, many years, later he would leave his mountain home to again find a way to rid himself of the cursed sword, and this is where his new journey begins.
