Appearance: Wakka is a well-tanned young teen of slightly above-average height. He has brown eyes and a tall, narrow face of strongly-angled features. His orange-red hair is usually styled upward into a quiff. Wakka's usual attire include green sandals, a pale, sleeveless shirt with blue lining and a very low collar that opens up around his chest where it ties up, and a pair of yellow pants that only reach a little below his knees and are very puffed around that area, marked by two straps making a large blue X pattern there. In accessories Wakka also likes to wear a blue bands around each wrist and a tall blue bandanna over his forehead.
Personality:•General Persona: Wakka almost always gives off the vibes of a relaxed, casual atmosphere wherever he goes. Even in important moments the teen has a simple, enthusiastic way about him that keeps him calm and often infects others with the same sensation. This can take on a more serious tone whenever Wakka feels like one of his friends are in trouble, in which his calmness is far more intimidating than peaceful. Around friends his own age Wakka is just one of guys and doesn't try to stand out much in anything but sports, but around younger friends or if in a position of leadership his “big brother” persona always comes through, having an actual younger brother of his own, combining kindness with a bit of protectiveness and authority. Wakka is known for being a big stickler for rules and respecting elders, often using the advice of older people to help make his decisions except during the occasional spurt of youthful passion.
•Inner Thought Process: Wakka likes to think of everyone in Destiny Islands as one big family, treating other people as such whenever he can. The boy enjoys helping out those younger than him and seeing them succeed the same way he enjoys seeing his own younger brother grow up. Due to some difficulties early on in life depends upon other people for a lot of support and always tries to give it back. Wakka would enjoy nothing more than a peaceful life and thinks of competitive sports as the greatest form of entertainment.
•Fears: Almost nobody knows that Wakka has a fear of drowning, instead being known for his superb swimming skills. The real truth is that he developed those skills almost entirely to overcome his fear, which is now mostly just a memory from his childhood. Wakka also fears that something might happen to his younger brother and tries to take good care of him, extending a fraction of this sentiment toward a lot of his younger pals as well.
•Pleasures: Wakka loves the ocean, be it swimming or just being out in a boat. He also loves the competitive and team spirit of sports and the shared euphoria of victory in them.
•Quirks: Wakka has a habit of speaking in an old Destiny Islands accent that almost no one else uses anymore. This is thanks to his adoptive parents being from the older generation themselves and almost none of Wakka's generation besides his own brother share it. The boy is also old-fashioned in his thought-process for the same reason, being fairly rigid when it comes to what he thinks is right and wrong.But With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility

Primary Weapon Description: A bouncy, white ball with blue stripes. It's about the size of a head, small enough that Wakka can hold on to it reliably with just one hand, though his hands are a little bigger than those of most kids his age. This rubbery game ball is hard enough to hurt if launched with enough strength. It also tends to have a strong rebound, enough to bounce all the way back to where it was thrown or kicked from to begin with.

Wakka was born on the Destiny Islands to a fisherman and his wife. The first toy he ever played with was a ball. It ended up sticking.
When he was still young both of Wakka's parent died in a storm at sea, leaving him and his younger brother with little to no memories of them. The siblings were taken in by an older couple who had lost their own children in a similar manner some years ago and raised in a strict but loving household from that point on. Wakka developed an unfortunate fear of drowning because of the trauma of losing his parents, but his new family and the young innocence of his brother helped him to overcome it, even pushing him so far as to want to be a master swimmer that the ocean could never defeat.
Childhood dreams of grandeur aside Wakka did end up becoming a fantastic swimmer and developed an excellent physique while doing so. With high athletic ability and well-developed lung capacity Wakka took to competitive sports almost as quickly as he took to the water. The young rising star quickly found that team sports were far more enjoyable to him than solo games like swimming races, the sense of camaraderie and shared emotions being an amazing experience. Inevitably, ball games became Wakka's favourite sports as it put to sue the handling skills he'd been practicing casually with toy balls for his entire childhood.
Now in his final year of juniour high Wakka is the Captain of the school's water polo team and often plays soccer as well. A rookie first year named Tidus caught Wakka's attention a few years ago with his own considerable sports talent and the pair have been close since before they attended the same juniour high. Together with Tidus' class-mate Selphie, his own class-mate Riku(Who Wakka always insisted ought to put his amazing skills to more use than pretend sword fights) and Riku's best friend Sora, the five have formed a close circle of friends. Together(And with some help from all their parents) they have converted a smaller island near their home town into their own personal playground with a tree house, a dock, bridges, a wooden shack and a few other secrets. Free from adult supervision, Wakka takes it upon himself(And expects the same of Riku) to keep watch over their activities as the oldest around.
Of course, he still enjoys having plenty of fun himself, and hopes that the peaceful days will never end.
