Appearance: When one looks at Theo, he certainly isn’t anything impressive. A slightly pale young man with a youthful, boyish face and a never-fading smile, his features just give him an appearance of youth that certainly does not match his age, from his slightly rosy complexion to his rounded cheeks. He’s just got that friendly, boy-next-door look going for him that many generally associated with that loveable childhood friend –trustworthy without being too perfect in any one category. He is handsome to some - though not remarkably attractive - and generally appears to be well put together, even though most of it is just something that happens naturally for him. His face is usually found arranged into one of his trademark smiles, something that he’s almost an artist of, when it comes right down to it. Mind you, he doesn’t just have any one smile. Rather, he has about 332 different ones for different situations, each one involving a different glint in his eyes, and a different twist on the angle of his mouth. It’s worth noting that even when he isn’t smiling, he always has this kind of shifty look in his eyes. Like he’s trying to look like a troublemaker. Odd, right?
Not the largest man out there by any sense of the word, Theo is actually rather lithe and wiry in body shape. He usually keeps it covered in totally hideous, brightly colored shirts that are just bright enough to cause one to go blind if they look at it from a certain angle (not really) while somehow still being innocent enough to not be registered as weapons. His stock of garish, god-awful shirts seems to just grow every month, with more and more of the things appearing in his travelling gear as time goes on. His skinniness is somewhat hidden by how much visual space his shirts take up in the brains of onlookers, but he also attempts to hide it by wearing loose-fitting pants that make him appear to be several sizes larger than he actually is. And he can also usually be found wearing tinted glasses of some kind wherever he is, because he thinks they look cool. Come to think of it, if he was just a bit less friendly than he is, he might fit into the category of ‘creepy and helpless,’ due to his appearance. Poor guy.
Personality:•General Persona: The very first thing that one should know about Theo is that his mind has been rather warped over the years by the things he has seen, and the events he has experienced. While he was once just a normal, average boy, he has turned into something quite a bit different, his personality having become almost disturbingly unnatural. Oh, one cannot say that he’s truly insane, for he still retains a few characteristics here and there that could be considered normal, though they are certainly few and far between. One of these characteristics is, bluntly put, his cockiness, especially given that he likes to brag about what he can do and how much better he is than some other people out there. He happens to be quite confident in himself as well, rarely, if ever, having moments where he wonders whether or not he is able to pull something off, or complete a particularly daunting task; he’ll try anything once, and certainly isn’t afraid to try it before realizing that it’s not within his physical limitations. Given this, he is quite prone to jumping into things without thinking about them at all, generally because he just assumes everything will turn out alright in the end. This could certainly be considered a form of recklessness, yes, but he knows that, so long as he does his best to concentrate and focus on the task at hand, the chances of his getting injured aren’t nearly as high as they would be otherwise. And when it comes to performing a task, he really doesn’t care about anything other than getting said task done, and that usually means that he won’t stop to think the situation through beforehand. As far as he’s concerned, thinking things through is for squares. Or triangles. Whatever, the point’s still valid. Back to the point, if there seems to be only one chance to get something done right, then he will take that chance, and just shrug it off afterwards if it turns out that he would have been better off not doing it at all. As far as he’s concerned, there’s no such thing as missed opportunities; either you take your chance, or it doesn’t get done. He would much rather take life by the reigns before it passes his by, taking the consequences as a result of his actions as they come. He often just laughs said consequences off, because simply put, they don’t matter – if he already did what he did, he can’t exactly take it back, so what’s the point in trying to live in the past? That’s sort of Theo’s motto, living for today and not worrying about what’s gone wrong, because really, when it all comes down to it, everything just adds up to this big experience called life.
All things considered, perhaps Theo could learn to take things just a little bit more seriously. Sure, he’s dedicated to whatever task he might have at any particular moment in time, does his best to pull off said tasks without a hitch, and never fails to leave things completed, but when all’s said and done, he just doesn’t feel worry about it. It’s just life to his, no matter how dangerous or life-threatening a situation may have been. It just seems that no matter what he is doing, Theo can always find something to laugh about, which certainly tends to annoy those that are around him. Though he really doesn’t mind; he likes to enjoy himself, and what better way is there to do that then finding something to smile and laugh about even in the worst of situations? To say he’s optimistic might be a bit of an exaggeration, however, for he doesn’t exactly express any beliefs that things will end on a high note. Rather, he just thinks that taking things at face value and being altogether more serious than anyone really needs to be just plain sucks, and if he did it, he’d probably just get stress lines. And that wouldn’t be cool. No, he’d much rather live without fear or care for anything, really, just taking things in their stride, and living his life to the fullest. As a result, he’s often been considered a very childish man, especially by those around his age. And in a way, this happens to be true. Small, insignificant things amuse him, he gets distracted by everything he could possible be distracted by, and really, he just has the mindset of a seven year old. Though he really can’t help it; he just gets bored really easily, and can’t help but get distracted when he’s supposed to be concentrating on something for too long. Even in the middle of a task, he can often be found stopping to admire the view, asking his opponent to lay down their sword or stop charging that uber-end-of-the-world spell of theirs to admire it with him. And while this is just plain odd, this can often be a very dangerous feature of his, as he can use his low attention span to confuse and irritate the other side, talking about things that certainly have no point whatsoever, whether it’s mentioning how nice the whether is, or asking them whether they want to go for ice cream after the fight’s over. Words spoken far too fast for any normal man and six and a half changes in subject later, many of his opponents tend to find themselves dizzy with confusion, giving Theo the upper hand. Though he probably won’t take said chance – he’s far too busy checking out that totally rad poster over there.
Mind you, that isn’t to say that Theo is a complete goofball, though that’s certainly the part that most people tend to see. He’ll swear constantly that he has some good qualities about him, namely that he respects people and wouldn’t do anything that his mother would disapprove of unless he had a really good reason to. He can be the perfect guy when he really needs to, though he’s never really around people long enough to actually have to, and has never really had a chance to see just how long he can keep up the not-crazy façade as a result. As far as he’s concerned, he’s better off just hanging out with people for short periods of time before taking off to meet some new person, though that certainly doesn’t mean that he’s entirely incapable of making long-lasting friendships with people if he really wanted to. The point is, as with so much of Theo’s personality, he simply doesn’t want to. But once again, back to the point. He just loves to pass the time by being around people in wild, crazy, often short-lived relationships that often result in a few practical jokes here and there, a few good laughs, and then a quick, unexpected departure. One could blame this on his terrible attention span, saying that he simply isn’t able to concentrate on one person any more than he’s able to concentrate on one thing, but nobody can be one hundred percent sure about that; not even Theo himself. The quiet also irritates him to no end, and he often tends to become quite jumpy and uncomfortable whenever things are too quiet for too long. As a result, when things get too quiet, he often takes his leave, looking for something louder and more fun to keep him entertained, something that certainly isn’t a very good trait at all, but one that he really can’t control. However, as the quiet can never be entirely avoided, Theo’s developed quite a few hobbies over the years, perhaps the most prominent one being listening to people’s conversations and gossiping about it, even though it’s an awful habit to get into. He can often be found giving opinions on things that aren’t his business and are generally taken out of context anyway, but he simply doesn’t care. They give him something to talk about, and if he needs something to converse with someone about, he won’t hesitate to use it. Simply put, he just really doesn’t feel much shame about anything, probably because he just doesn’t take the time to really think about it.
Unfortunately, when it comes right down to it, Theo’s sanity is certainly in question, mainly as a result of his ability to just slaughter opponents and actually seem to enjoy doing it. He’s been known to take a life or two with quite a bit of laugher, his eyes gaining a bit of a spark in them as he watches his opponents die before him. In a way, it’s like a high for him; the more people (or things, since he’s generally more prone to killing monsters these days) he kills, the more relaxed he tends to be. Oh, it was hard at first, as it is for anyone. His mind fought desperately against it, adamantly reminding him that killing is wrong and that he should try and do something to stop it altogether, but he eventually just learned to think of death as nothing but an inevitable thing. Whatever the case may be, he certainly doesn’t fear for his own life, and he doesn’t give much care to the lives of others, when all is said and done. What a shame. Of course, he doesn’t go out of his way to kill, but when he needs to, he won’t exactly say no. When it comes right down to it, he’s a warrior through and through. And he’ll never forget that.
•Inner Thought Process: Honestly? Theo doesn’t care too much about anything. No, seriously. He just likes to take things as they come, and not think too much about them. That’s not to say he doesn’t think at all, it’s more that he simply doesn’t bother to. When it comes right down to it, he just doesn’t think it’s worth the effort – he certainly thinks it’s much more worthwhile to think abut how totally colorful that flower nearby is than the approaching monsters threatening to kill him. Once said monsters become an immediate threat, then sure, he’ll think about them. But until then, he thinks about the less significant, daunting things, and just enjoys life in the way that only he can.
•Fears:` thunder. it makes him think the sky’s mad at him or something.
` dogs. with their teeth and their claws? ugh.
` death. who isn’t afraid of death? durr.
` loss of limbs. as someone who loves fighting and whatnot, losing any one of his limbs would be torture. so no, he certainly doesn’t want to deal with that.
•Pleasures:` being random. twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.
` gossiping. it’s really his only form of entertainment outside of fighting. speaking of which...
` fighting. well... he likes fighting when it usually leads to the completion of a task of some sort, but even still. the point’s still valid.
•Quirks:` is really, really random.
` waves erratically at every living thing he sees.
` is totally out of his mind, honestly. But With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility

Abilities: Boom, boom, pow!
Weapons:
Weapons:
Primary Weapon Name: Hellraiser.
Primary Weapon Type: Bladed/Ranged.
Primary Weapon Description: The Hellraiser is a rather strange weapon in that it is both a bow and a sword, in a sense. It is most typically used as a dual-sided sword, as it is held in the center, and both sides are razor-sharp and more than capable of slicing through whatever it needs to. However, it can also act as a bow by pulling a string out from the top side of it, attaching it to the bottom, and firing off an arrow. It seems like quite a bit of effort, yes, but Theo’s gotten quite good at doing so quickly, actually. But I digress. On to the weapon itself. The handle and guard of both blades are blood-red in color, while the blades themselves are a very light silver, almost white, contrasting rather well with the red. The handle looks almost like a pair of devil’s horns, with the grip placed between the two ‘horns’ to keep his or her – obviously a his at present - hand safe while the weapon is in use. Rather ingenious, neh?
Currently, Theo carries exactly 30 arrows on him.

But Your History Decides Your Version of "Responsibility"
History: Twenty-four years ago, a man by the name of Devon D’Ancanto was nervous. In fact, it was probably one of the most nerve-wracking days of his life. A job interview, for a position as an archaeologist. You’ll be pleased to know, he got the job. However, that’s not where this story begins. Rather, it begins about three weeks after that, which actually was the most nerve-wracking day of his life. See, Devon and his wife had never really planned on having a fifth child; they already had four perfectly healthy little boys to try their patience, and they were more than enough to keep them up until all hours of the night. However, not long afterwards, Sarah D’Ancanto gave birth to the fifth and final son of the D’Ancanto family: Theo. Very small, very loud, and very, very pink, Theo lived several years of his life without much incident. Up until he turned four, anyway. As a result of a group of ne’er-do-wells causing trouble around the Garden, his four brothers were sent to go help deal with the situation, being some of the bravest of the youngsters around at that time. However, the fight occurring afterwards found their lives taken from them, as well as the lives of Sarah and Devon, who tried to stop the troublemakers in their sons’ wake. And just like that, he was alone. Living his life in seclusion, afraid of the dangers lurking in the outside world, Theo finally came to realize that staying indoors and moping wasn’t going to help accomplish anything. So, he left, returning to the everyday life of the Garden after six months of hiding in his home, away from prying eyes.
And yet, people didn’t seem to like him at all. He was given strange looks, and was treated as though he was completely invisible and irrelevant, much to his own chagrin. He found that he was spending most of his time trying to do things to make other people happy, and he certainly didn’t like that at all. But as bad as things were, they only got worse when he was enrolled in school. The first thing anyone said to him was that he ‘looked funny’, and that was but a minor taste of what he would be forced to endure throughout his school career. Constantly ridiculed as the ‘loner’, and the ‘kid with no friends’, Theo also found that he was completely unable to even sit still and concentrate in his classes, something that his teachers were not at all happy about. And so, he was treated badly not only by his peers, but by his teachers as well, who called him ‘special’ in a way that very obviously meant ‘stupid.’ Taking to hitting whosoever said anything negative towards him, Theo made his way through his entire school career being known eventually as a bully who hit anyone who dared to say anything to him. Which, honestly, he was perfectly fine with. As long as people knew that it was stupid to make fun of him, then he had accomplished what he had hoped to.
When Theo finally finished his schooling, it was as though there was a huge relief off of his shoulders. He was free from ridicule, and he could live his life however he desired. Taking to training himself in the use of various weapons on the off chance that anyone like the troublemakers who had stolen his family from him, he came to realize that there... well, there was something that wasn’t quite right about him. He was... strange. Almost screwed up in the head. Probably as a result of the things he had seen as a child, only not hitting him as a result of all the free time he had to reflect on the incident. Whatever the case, as time went on, he grew almost completely warped, not afraid to throw himself into whatever he felt like throwing himself into, not really caring about the consequences at all. As far as he was concerned, he was now a warrior who would do what he wanted to, with little to no regard for what anyone else really wanted. And if they didn’t like it? Well... too dang bad.
