Name: Miribelle Duncan
Race: Human
Age: 20
Gender: Female
Homeworld: Port Royal
Your Decisions Will Decide the Outcome of the Universe

Appearance: Miri is lean and of average height. Her dark brown hair is cropped short and in a choppy manner. It’s just long enough to avoid gender confusion. She usually wears a piece of cloth in her hair to act as scarf to tie her hair back, but her bangs usually stay in front of her eyes regardless of what she does.
She’s got a soft face that can easily turn ugly, depending on her mood. Her eyes are a forest-y green color, probably the only thing she inherited from her father, or so her mother said.
She resembles that of a tavern wench, of course, because she is one. She wears a white chemise with the shoulders cut off and over it, a black corset. Underneath a red skirt, she wears black cloth pants, in case she needs to make a quick get away for whatever reason.
Personality:•General Persona: Spending most of her time working in a tavern, Miri’s developed a filthy sense of humor. Her words are often laced with sarcasm, but she still is generally well-liked by patrons. She isn’t one for excessive physical contact, which is hard to avoid in her line of work, but she manages to put men back in their place most of the time.
The trust she holds for men is low, due to her father’s lack of presence in her life and all the men her mother brought home when she was a child. This caused her to abstain from as much sexual contact with the opposite sex as possible.
When such actions aren’t necessary, she’s usually drinking and having a good time with people in the tavern. This is frequent enough to prompt drinking games, where she happens to be the victor in most cases.
•Inner Thought Process: She has her serious moments, as everyone does, but it’s rare that side of her gets to come out and make itself known. She’s got a good head on her shoulders despite what she had been unfortunately born into and what she does to support herself. When she has quiet time to herself, she tends to be anxious and nervous about not being able to survive on her own. Otherwise, she just lets herself have fun and focuses on work.
•Fears: Needing outside help to survive and losing her job. She also hates bugs, but has little trouble killing them. As long as they die quickly, she’s fine.
•Pleasures: Drinking, shooting. She also loves to fight.
•Quirks: She’s a girl and can hold her own in a bar fight, that’s not too common, neh?But With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility

But Your History Decides Your Version of "Responsibility"
History:
Miribelle grew up knowing nothing of her father except he was a naval officer that shacked up with her mother during shore leave. This action was so common with her mother that she wouldn’t be able to point out which officer had he ever showed up again. Miri was never very fond of her mother, or the men she brought home nearly every night. Once she hit her schooling years, she was ignored and had to fend for herself.
Luckily, she managed to befriend the blacksmith’s son, Charles. His family soon became her family. It wasn’t long before Miri’s mother just gave up and allowed them to adopt her. That was when she was eight.
Over the span of ten years, her adoptive family treated her as if she was blood. She’d always been that of a tomboy, and her adoptive father supported this wholeheartedly. He began teaching her swordplay and shooting, as well as some hand-to-hand combat. It was a couple years before she was on the same level as Charles, but as soon as she was, they became sparring partners.
When she was 18, her home had been invaded by pirates. She and Charles managed to hold their own and survive, but their father had died trying to protect their mother, who unfortunately did not survive in the end. It was this that caused the two to decide to join the Royal Navy. The only problem was that Miribelle was a girl.
Since she was already a tomboy, Miri had no trouble playing the part. She had Charles cut her hair, borrowed some of his clothes and off they went to enlist together. Unfortunately, this had not been enough to fool anyone into thinking she was man.
While Miri’s habits were already well-known throughout the town, as soon as people caught wind of her trying to enlist in the Royal Navy, the gossip was crippling. To avoid it, she ran off to Port Royal and got work in a tavern that also offered her housing. Charles, who had been accepted into the Royal Navy, often writes to her and sends her munny to help her get along. Though jealous of him, she continues to write back. After all, he’s the only person she has left.
