She smiled and made a silent giggle as Jaci said that she felt like she was talking a lot. Sun didn't really mind it all that much. She thought of it as others talking for her when they talked a lot. She then wrote again in the sand;
'I help out too'
She hoped she got her thought out in those few words, it was hard trying not to write a lot and still get out what she wanted to say. She let Jaci see it and then erased it and wrote something else.
'Wanna do something?'
Not that she didn't mind sitting and talking on the beach as she got to know her new friend. But, at times she grew restless and that was one reason why she liked to adventure so much.

Jaci smiled. That’s what the girls around the reservation usually did. It was what they were supposed to do. Well, she did it, and some other stuff… It all evened out. That was how she rationalized it, anyhow. She looked at Sun’s new message and began pondering. "Hmmmmmmmmmm…."
Her eyes fell on the water lapping peacefully up against the beach. "Do you swim?" She asked Suncatcher. It was getting to be a little warmer than she was comfortable with. Her clothes, which had gotten wet earlier, were already completely dried off. A quick swim would be refreshing, and if the heat kept up, she’d be dried off again in no time. [/blockquote]

She shrugged lightly and then smiled, nodding. She was okay with swimming, but sometimes preferred the sun to the water. Maybe, because she sort of held true to her name. She untied her pouch from her waist and placed her flute back into it and laid it in the sand.
She then stood up. And waited for Jaci.

"Awesome!" Jaci said, choosing to look past Sun’s unmatched enthusiasm. She loved swimming. The only problem she had with swimming was crocodiles. If she spotted one, she’d hightail it right out of there, no questions asked. She removed her bow and quiver, and set her dagger down next to the pair.
She waved at Sun to follow as she waded into the water, first to check the temperature. Where she was standing it was warmer, but the deeper she got the cooler it would get. Jace made her way further into the water, nearly waist deep, and then dove the rest of the way in. [/blockquote]

Sun almost forgot to take off her bow and arrows. Taking them off she set them next to her flute and then followed after Jaci. At first to her the water was a little warm but as she followed Jaci closer into it she started to get cold. Jaci seemed very enthusiastic about the water. To Sun it was just water. Nothing really special about it. She waddled in after Jaci, her arms wrapped somewhat around her.

She swam around under the water for a little while before surfacing for some air. "Ahh." Now cooled off, she was feeling much better. She swam towards Suncatcher who didn’t seem to be enjoying herself as much as Jaci was. "Don’t like going too deep?" She guessed. The Sun’s arms were wrapped around her body, it looked like she was either a little cold or uncomfortable.

Sun watched as Jaci enjoyed the water. She stood there, idly. Who would have thought that the water would be so cold when the sun was so bright. She supposed if she just dove right in she would get used to it. So, just as Jaci finished asking her a question she dove into the water. For a few seconds she did not surface, the water even went back to its normal surface.

Huh. Maybe she was wrong. Jaci shrugged and kicked herself backwards so she could float around on her back. It wasn’t long before she could feel the heat from the sun beginning to dry the drops of water that were on her face. It made her wonder… If she stayed perfectly still for long enough, would the parts of her clothing that weren’t currently submerged in the water eventually dry off? She giggled to herself at the idea. She probably wouldn’t be able to lay still enough for long. She got achy. Her neck craned to check for Suncatcher. It was a little more difficult to keep track of her because she didn’t speak. [/blockquote]

Sun re-submerged from the water a few feet from where Jaci was. She then swam to the shore and sat down on where the waves met the sand. She waited for Jaci to join her and then wrote in the sand.
'I should go.'
She wrote to her. She had been gone long enough and even though she went on frequent adventures she often checked in with her mother. She then wrote to Jaci again saying that she would meet her tomorrow. She smiled at Jaci and then told her where she would meet her. Gathering her things she started to head back home. Glad that she had met a new friend.
