Messenger of the Dark [Open]

A sudden storm had appeared this day over the skies of Radiant Garden. Flashes of lightning and drenching rain would have kept most in their homes, yet there was a figure slowly striding in the direction of the Bastion. An armored man, cape fluttering behind, a long sword held with its blade disappearing into a sheath much wider than the blade was. The visor gazed blankly at the Bastion, but slowly the armored figure came to a halt. If he felt the rain at all, it had absolutely no effect on him. The armor's helm snapped left, sword raised in as quick a motion, pointed directly at whoever had dared to step so near it.

An old rumor stated that once, a vengeful knight had fled Radiant Garden and never returned. That rumor also stated that on a stormy night, the spirit of the knight would one day return to seek vengeance. That armor or not, whoever it was certainly fit the description. It was impossible to tell who or what may have been beneath the armor, but the voice that rang out from within was one that was not human. "Reveal your true strength..." it said, a flash of lightning illuminating the sword and the armor. The sword was a normal sword of roughly four and a half feet until it reached the end, which ended not in a tip but in a curved fan-shape, extending about half a foot downwards in a wicked scythelike protrusion. "... else be consumed by darkness..."

Akilah cocked her head to the left.

"...you need a cough drop, buddy?"

The suit of armor said nothing. The long blade flashed in quick succession as it struck, for fast slashes at the armor's next target, a lightning strike revealing the last as it came. The armor gripped the sword with both hands, moving in a slow circle and awaiting its challenger's move.
