It was a lovely for a walk, as the young lady in pink walked outside she discovered that the sun was low in the sky. The sun casted a orange pink hue onto the city. She smiled at the simple beauty the sunset offered. She decided to take a walk to the Bailey where she would watch the rest of the sun vanish and maybe enjoy the cool night air.
Walking lightly through the borough, the young brunette walked slowly, calmly. Enjoying the scenery and the walk as well. There were not many people out, most probably enjoying dinner with their families. Aerith had already eaten a fine dinner, prepared by her mother, of chicken and vegetables. Home grown salad, which they grew in the small yard near their small cottage. Her mother had gone to bed to read after they had cleaned up and Aerith had decided to take a walk, which was not rare. She was often found taking small walks. It cleared the mind, though hers didn't need to be. But, it was good to enjoy such simple things such as a calming walk.
The night air was perfect, it was not too chilly. Aerith wore her brown leather jacket, which mind you didn't offer much warmth, and through that jacket she could still feel the cool air. She smiled to herself as she walked happily. Maybe she would encounter someone she knew. Or, maybe a new face? Though, didn't she already pretty much know everyone here? She made flower deliveries often and was one to be known at the market place, selling flowers to passer-byers as well as shopping for fresh fruits. Perhaps, she would encounter her best-friend. That would be good, she rarely saw him now-a-days with his job as a castle guard. Perhaps, she should visit him soon.
Minutes later, she arrived at the bailey. A wonderful place to enjoy such a night. She leaned against a low wall that was facing West. Leaning her elbows upon it and placing her chin into her palms she stared at the fading sun. Night slowly arrived.

Cree had crawled up on the edge of the bailey, sitting right out over the wall with his legs dangling over the edge. He was a little blonde boy, with dirty hair and a dirty face. His eyes were a warm, misty hazel; he held the inquisitive nature of any child his age, and yet there was a way he held himself that clued anyone who was looking off to a little something extra. It had something to do with the way he appreciated the sunset more than other children his age, and how happy he was that he got to see it. Maybe it was something like maturity that made him like that; that's the best that you could hope for.
But it was hard to see a little boy as mature when he was holding a large golden shield on top of his head to cover his eyes from the sun. [/blockquote] [Small and simple. :3]

A tiny smile crept upon the newcomer's face as she noticed that she was not the only person tonight to view the sunset. It was a pretty moment to share with people, regardless of what connections were or were not present between them.
The fair-skinned, dark haired girl leaned against the low wall of the bailey as the other young woman had. She looked rather messy this evening. She hadn't a chance to clean up after herself when she got home from working, so her hair was still pulled up out of her face, at least, most of it still was. It had since loosened up from earlier in the day, and there were a few pieces that had fallen completely from her ponytail. They had collected together by the sides of her face, almost looking like the style had been intentional. She had remembered to grab a jacket before she left her house, managing to hide the ice cream stained shirt she was wearing, as well as providing a little extra warmth.
It was a beautiful evening as always, just what she needed to calm herself.

It was not common for the young female to find others that also enjoyed the sunset as she did. She smiled to herself as she scooted towards the other female, "Beautiful isn't it?" She asked her as she moved to rest her elbow on the wall. From the corner of her eye she saw a little boy staring at the sunset, its hues reflecting in his eyes. His legs swinging over the edge of the wall he sat on. It was innocence to see this boy admiring beauty. She continued to smile.

Jillian looked over to Aerith and nodded, smiling kindly. "It's not often I get to enjoy it." She admitted with a sigh. It had been lucky she managed to slip out at all. Her mother wasn't going to be too happy when she finally returned, but at least her mother understood her need to get away every once in a while. It wasn't like she did it often, either.
As Aerith's did, her eyes happened to fall on Cree. To see a child watch the sunset as he was doing was rare. He reminded her of one of her brothers, though he seemed to be more well-behaved. She almost wanted to tell him to get down from where he was sitting in case he lost his balance and fell.

The shield was pulled off the top of his head, and Cree looked down at his reflection in the gold surface, comparing the symbol of a sun to the sun itself. They didn't really look the same.
'grmblrkrk'
A guttural noise crackled from the boy's stomach, and yet he paid it little mind. Just watching the sun sink under the horizon, like a snail crawling down the wall. He'd watched a few snails lately, and sun reminded him of one. The orange light decorated his face with gold and yellow, his messy hair hanging down in tangled strands. With a clatter he threw his shield back behind himself, and lay down on the ledge, his eyes roving through the dips and canyons of the purple landscape. "Hello big world. Do you know where my papa is?" [/color][/blockquote][/size]

The boy seemed happy, Aerith felt the need to walk over there and give him some company..though he seemed quite happy by himself. "It seems to be every night that I find some place to watch the sunset," Aerith explained, "I just can't seem to get enough of it though.." trailing on, her eyes still watching the boy as she talked to the younger woman.
"Excuse me..I'll be just a moment." She nodded towards the woman with dark hair, and strikingly blue eyes. Aerith began to walk over towards the boy, which wasn't quite that far. She didn't mind if the younger woman, of which she hadn't caught her name, joined her though.
"Hey," Aerith smiled at Cree, unsure of why she had actually come over. Maybe it was the motherly side of her taking over, she had always loved kids. Maybe that was why she sort of wanted to become a teacher, or something along those lines. She didn't know what else to say to the boy...what could be said?
