Red VS Blue: Alternation

You know how it works.
Two teams fighting for dominance.
One team dressed in a powerful blue
The other dressed in a burning red
Both teams have a single goal; to eliminate the other.
And yet neither teams really know their true reason for their fighting.
Whenever a battle starts, there always seems to be a mysterious mercenary working on one of the teams.
A Freelancer.
The freelancers always seem to be stronger, faster, and more skilled than the other Spartans.
They often have special upgrades to their armor, from invisibility to a powerful AI.
The Red and Blue team have been fighting alongside these mercenaries for their entire existence.
Now the Red and Blue teams are starting to grow, recruits flying into Valhalla left and right.
And so are the Freelancers.
