Appearance:
*Easley* is a man of lean build, though not sickly thin he does not have the bulky physique one would expect from a knight. However, many enemies have paid the price for underestimating him of this. A young man of average height, *Easley* is pale, giving cause to wonder if he really is ill. A mane of wavy, but messy, black hair sits atop his head and suspicious, narrow eyes with golden irises fix squarely on his face. His normal attire rarely changes, though he will insist he takes regular baths, it consists mostly of a long coat, a white undershirt with a frock, white gloves, black shoes and long pants. His Knight armor is comparably more fearsome to behold, a sleek dark blue and black that seems to accentuate agility and grace over brute might. A controversial design for any armor smith to be sure. Six rubber-like extensions ending in a small spear head take the place of a cape; they jitter about even in the absence of wind suggesting a life in and of themselves. They have been known to lash out at enemies, albeit clumsily, with the invocation of a certain spell. A horse tailed helmet protects his head and the slit for his eyes oft lights up in an eerie red luminance. When wearing his Knight’s armor, Easley rarely if ever speaks with his own voice.
Personality:
•General Persona: Outwardly stoic and cold, Easley abhors trivialities that waste his time. Hypocritically, he also feels it necessary to voice unkind sarcasm and criticisms, sparing no-one’s feelings in an overly harsh display that sadly oft rings true. Blunt as he is decisive, Easley shows no hesitation and acts with an unconscious grace even when committing the most atrocious of actions. Though he is a knight, he is not as one might expect; he acts outside the code of chivalry and holds concern only for his own interests. Instead, he is an outstanding example of a tactician; objectively weighing the gains and losses of all he does. This means while he is certainly capable of such deplorable acts, they would need worthwhile benefits to pique his interest.
•Inner Thought Process: Incorruptible black. These are the two words that most accurately depict his true character. Easley is perceived by virtue of his title as Judas Knight to be a great evil, whose sins become him. He has an infamy that precedes him, labeled the type of person who would devour puppies and slay orphans for his own amusement. However, this is only half true. He is not a sadist; he does not garner pleasure from the misery of others. Only one purpose moves him now and keeps him raising his sword; finding and protecting his princess. Therein lies the reason for Easley’s fall, his love for her life. Perhaps he resembles a true knight only in his desire to protect his princess. But, in this service, he is completely amoral and unhesitating – even betraying the country who he owed his oaths to and slaughtering the people he had sworn to defend. This is why he is an 'incorruptible black', a wicked knight who has stained his soul black for the sake of a single person and refuses redemption for the path he chose. He will not err from this chosen path and reasons all his sins under the banner of a selfish ideal.
•Fears: It can be said he fears everything. He fears possibility, the possibility that harm will come to his princess, the possibility that he will never find her, the possibility she will not need him anymore.
•Pleasures: Easley enjoys it when things fall into place, even if it’s an enemy’s strategy. He adores when things fit perfectly, so has a weakness for jig-saw puzzles and keys.
•Quirks: Perhaps from being too rigidly educated, Easly has taken to using his acute perception of things to place numerical value on near most anything, ranging from the quality of a meal, the lethality of an attack to the worth of a life. As a comparison, numerically a nation would be worth one million points to him – whereas his princess easily reaches a hundred zillion (He’s not quite certain in quantifying her).

“You’ll still remember me as I remember you, will you not?”
History:
This shall be the story of a knight. Now, this knight was never particularly famous. He had not descended from a noble family, but rather a farm house. He did not accomplish great deeds, but many lesser deeds. He was never the most poetic or compassionate, speaking in rhythmical logic that not many cared to understand. He was never the most skilled or experienced, he chose his fights just carefully enough to not be called coward. Still, he was a knight of the good kingdom and that is how he identified himself and how others identified him.[/blockquote]
Until that day.
He was part of an envoy escorting the palanquin of a daughter from a neighboring evil empire to be wed with his aging King; all for the express purpose of producing an heir and uniting their nations. The knight like many others with him did not fully understand their duty. It was a fate-changing bump in the road, the palanquin bearers tripped on the rough surface causing the evil to reveal the bride to be was no more than a child. She was not at an age where giving birth should even be possible. And yet, his King had demanded her hand.
The Knight raised his voice and stood out for the first time. He protested against the sanction of such an illicit marriage, using all manner of sophistry he could remember but never really gave much thought. He called upon chivalry, he called upon religion, he called upon common decency. He was nearly beaten to death by his comrades.
When they returned to the castle, the Knight was thrown in the dungeon and the princess was taken to the King. His actions had been inconsequential. However, because they had been so insignificant, he was given a merciful sentence. Much of his material property was stripped from him but he was allowed to return to his duties as a Knight. For a time, he did not see the princess. Then the date of the wedding between the good King of the good kingdom and the princess from evil empire arrived. Guests from both nations attended the joyous union which would bring peace to once warring nations.
However, things did not go as plan. None was allowed to bear arms during the sacred ceremony, not even the guards or the King himself. However, somehow the Knight managed to smuggle swords, through what is thought of today as a mix of bribery and cunning. Drawing in the midst of the wedding, a slew of people were cut down by the Knight. It may concluded with just that, had the Knight not committed a grievous treason. During the initial confusion, he dispersed a hidden cache of blades he had smuggled towards the crowd of guests from the evil empire and each one of them took up arms. Their conspiracy was realized. Born from the Knight’s betrayal, the armed denizens of the evil empire cut a swathe through the unarmed nobility and officers of the good kingdom. They say the Knight himself slew the King and carried off the princess, retreating alongside the murderous evil empire conspirators.
From that day forth, he became as a traitor knight who defected to the evil empire after being seduced by the princess. He became the head of many armies of the evil empire in a renewed war effort against the good kingdom. The previously unremarkable Knight became an invincible spear point, proving himself a superb warrior but most of all, a genius tactician. Some say he did it for the fame, others the money, but most agreed it was over lust for the King’s bride to be. In part, they may have been right. He certainly felt a strong connection with the girl, strong enough to forsake his vows and slaughter his countrymen to protect her. All for her.
Once the war was won, for the good kingdom had been crippled without its leaders in matters of military and state, it was still not over for the Knight and princess. Indeed, their happily ever after never does come. They were almost immediately thrust into the world of political intrigue, a fiercer realm than the battlefield. He, a war hero, and her, the last of a long line of heirs and heiresses – the only reason she was considered for the throne at all was because of his support as a veteran. This did not brook well with her brothers and sisters and the years that followed had them fending off assassins regularly. She did not want the throne, but she understood to forfeit it would risk another political marriage. Neither of them would have being separated.
After many years of betrayals, of bloodshed veiled by darkness and excuses, the princess obtained the throne and the Knight was at her side. She ruled then and she thought everything would be fine, as long as he was with her. She couldn’t have been more wrong. Their situation never changed, but she did. The throne, the power, it changes a person. And slowly, as the time she spent sitting on that cursed seat passed, she began to lose more of herself. She began to view the Knight as less of what he had always meant to her, and more like a tool.
He did not mind. He never spoke up against her. Perhaps this only further encouraged her behavior. She pushed for another war, she pushed to expand her territory. He enforced it, all the while her people suffered, her soldiers died and her nobles conspired. Eventually, it led to a revolt. It wasn’t much of a revolt, since practically the entire empire turned against her – only he, the Knight, stood by her side. Once again, he cut down a country he was meant to protect for her sake alone.
He was not victorious. Both the Knight and his Princess were overwhelmed, and on the eve of the sixth Solstice, they were sent to the guillotine. Their executions marked the beginning of a democracy in that empire. Or, at least, that was how the story goes.
