And their lives were, indeed, ended! Twin spires of smoke went skyward at the sword's swing, sending the Shadows into oblivion. ...and that was the end of Round 1! Phil chuckled at what he assumed to be Ari's ease of win. "This round was easy stuff, small fry. Next round'll give you a workout!" Round 2
FIRST DEFENSE Twin Shadows stood facing-- woah. These Shadows had some serious weight to 'em. They were more like the Mega Shadows the rumor that'd been going around the city had sounded like... The twin Mega Shadows-- each easily as big as a labrador retriever-- rushed forward, not wasting any time, intending to cut down Yatusatari fast. Let me know in the cbox if I need to make edits.] Yatusatari gave the closer of the two monsters a sword slash and a downwards whack with the blunt part of the sword, quickly following up with two kicks before making a leap backwards to put some distance between herself and her attackers.
