Radiant Garden How the World Works____ Races:Radiant Garden is made up of a variety of races one would hardly expect to see intermingling. The predominant race by far is observed to be Human, while Moogles are frequently sighted as second most populous. There are even a race of small and mischievous fairy-like creatures, though these are in rare occurrence, and do not live in Radiant Garden proper. Moogles are typically seen in the goods sectors of trade; they specialize in the acquisition of materials, the crafting of multiple goods, and the sales of those goods. This is opposite to humans who serve most often in the service sectors of business, cleaning up the streets or providing protection against a heartless or two. It is in this fashion that people hold a level of respect and a cheery attitude toward one another. Government:Radiant Garden has a very relaxed and hands-off approach to government. Formed from the remains of the an absolute monarchy, it remains to have much of this authoritarian look and fit; however, very little of this ruling style actually exists, much thanks to Ansem the Wise. A leader's interests are geared toward the benefit of his or her people, whether those interests are scientific or cultural, and in return that leader is likened to a celebrity among the citizenry. Yet on the political side there is a clear hierarchy that establishes the working order of the world. The people make their interests known, which is then observed by the RGPC, who organizes and directs those interests to appropriate authority figures. A tradition known as title'ing has come to pass, where once a leader of Radiant Garden is officially recognized, he is awarded a special title to wear to his dying day. Famous People____ Occupational Radiant Garden Leader (Ansem):(Whoever happens to be the leading force of Radiant Garden at the time. Important for obvious and individual reasons.) Is, or was at one point, ruler of Radiant Garden. Awarded title "The Wise". Very smart and charismatic figure. Acquired a small following of like-minded, intellectuals. Rather benevolent. A man of both science and fancy; if somewhat aloof. Castle Guard Leader ():The head of the Castle Guard at any one point in time. This person has not only excelled in form and displayed valor in combat, but is also a proven leader with a strong and good-willed heart. RGPC:The Radiant Garden Preservation Committee's three to six members at any one point in time. Alone they're not quite so special, but together they work for the good of Radiant Garden and keep many aspects of the world running in a correct and smooth manner. Personal Ansem The Wise:Is, or was at one point, ruler of Radiant Garden. Awarded title "The Wise". Very smart and charismatic figure. Acquired a small following of like-minded, intellectuals. Rather benevolent. A man of both science and fancy; if somewhat aloof. KairiThe princess of Radiant Garden, though not by birth. As with other authority figures, she is more celebrity than politician. Little is known of Kairi as an individual, but there is an awareness that she is important. A strong-willed youth with a good heart. Famous Events____ Kingdom Fracture:The day when darkness fractured the light and divided the worlds. Although not exclusive to Radiant Garden it should be deemed as an important historical event. First Title'ing:The first independent Radiant Garden ruler ever to take place, and the first title to be awarded; it was deemed upon Ansem, and historically marks Radiant Garden's independence from all the other worlds out there. The title awarded this benevolent man was "the Wise", and a large majority of the Radiant Garden children are told the story that surrounded these events. Sighting Heartless:The tale of the first heartless sighting in Radiant Garden passed throughout the people. A lighthearted story about a pest problem, with a clear moral that one must be wary of the black creatures. The Age of the KingBefore Ansem the Wise, there was an absolute monarchy. The previous ruler of Radiant Garden declared that it was his age, and ruled with an iron fist, rubbing out all traces of what he was determined was evil. It is unknown how much historical events and other things were shut down by him, and after his passing, the people titled Ansem the Wise, shifting the workings of government. Famous Holidays____ Title'ings:Political holidays held whenever there is an exchange in power. The day is spent in celebration of the new leader however the leader chooses to celebrate, and ends in his title'ing. Radiant FestivalThis is a holiday founded during the week of the Radiant Garden calender that the lights of Radiant Garden shine brightest. It's celebrated in a manner that is both respectful and relaxed, and promotes goodwill between all the people of Radiant Garden. Oftentimes people gather just before nightfall to observe the most spectacular lights present. - Day of Light
A holy day of reverence at the highest point of the Radiant Festival. This is a major holiday in respect for the light that surrounds each and every heart. It may be appreciated religiously or casually, but it would be a bit inappropriate to not celebrate it at all. RGPC Recruitment Week:A week long event to generate activity and excitement for the RGPC! It contains many activities and games, from trivia questions, to scavenger hunts, to live combat exhibitions provided by the Castle Guard and educational displays likened to a science fair (courtesy of anyone submitting a project)! This not only provides a week of excitement for the kids, but helps them grow up big and strong with plenty of exercise AND encourages the development of their mental skills (not to mention it gives them some hometown heroes to look up to). General World Description____ Ecology:Radiant Garden has an excellent ecology for trade. The growth and expansions of crystalline ore is remarkable here and has drawn not only merchants of varying types, but the growth of a rather unique race known as Moogles. These Moogles are experts in the manipulation of rather odd materials, and contribute greatly to Radiant Garden's natural environment. Plant life is not overwhelming, nor is animal life, in fact both are in rather minimal amount. Whether this is because of Radiant Garden's industrial people, or the world had always been this way is unknown. Terrain:The earth outside Radiant Garden is composed mostly of a purplish rock and dirt, with occasional outcroppings of impressive shining crystals and gemstones. Elevation is not consistent, as one easily sights winding cliff pathways and sheer plateaus as some of the first geological features one can find. Due to this, or perhaps in spite of this, several settlements have popped up. One being the Bastion which is Ansem's place of work, and the other being what is widely recognized Radiant Garden proper. However, a project began with the advent of Synthesis, of synthesizing terrain that seemed more fitting for the title of Radiant Garden. The areas in which this work is done now have many crystalline structures, mostly plant-like. Settlements:Radiant Garden has a very unique look and feel to it, when you enter the human settlements, to the point that it's almost unbelievable upon comparison with the outside world. Stone, water, wood, and brass seem to be the four main elements of typical Radiant Garden architecture, and they are used all throughout the town. Homes have a very quaint cottage-esque feel, with wooden slats, doors, window frames. Walls, streets, steps, and the likes are built of what appears to be some sort of cobblestone. Pipes can be viewed poking out of the city walls every which way, and a waterfall or fountain pokes around every corner. Trees and grass are sparse, though they do provide dashes of color to an otherwise gray and brown town. World Technology____ Technology is something that exists in multiple different levels of Radiant Garden. There are aspects which are actually very impressive and there are areas which could do with some major improvement. It is because of this diversified technological state that Radiant Garden is so unique. Above all other achievements in Radiant Garden, the cornerstone, the hallmark, the proudest moment in the Garden's scientific community is the creation of Garden OS, a powerful and innovative technology that spawned with the birth of the computer. Garden OS is merely a newborn at it's current state, and still it has proven it's incredible worth. Not only does the Garden OS act as a storehouse for massive amounts of information, amounting to almost all of Ansem's own library, but it also operates the town's defense systems, the claymores. Those aren't even all of its functions, only just a few. But do not get the idea that Garden OS is a novelty, or just some nifty computer system. Computer terminals running the system are few, and almost all of them are bulky with wall-sized monitors alongside complicated controls and hardware. They are networked specifically for the safety of the townspeople, and the eased acquisition of data for The Bastion society's many research projects; this means that the casual use of computers is altogether nonexistent. The main computer terminal running all of these is said to be in the possession of Ansem himself. Otherwise, most areas of Radiant Garden are actually lacking technologically speaking. In keeping with the quaint nature of the town, there aren't any cars to speak of, nor are there cell phones. Transportation is mostly by foot; in the bastion there are a series of elevators which proves that technology is moving more towards convenience of getting from point a to point b. On a whole, most of the technology beyond what is described here follows in keeping with basic mechanics and engineering. If it's too terribly complicated or something especially special, chances are you probably won't see it hanging around here. The exception to this rule is weaponry. Weapons come in a verity of unexpected shapes and varieties. Moogles have recently discovered the extraordinary art of Synthesis, and work has been done to make the best usage of it possible... though, of course, most of it is running shops relating to this. World Organizations____ The Bastion Community:This is the network of interlinking groups that can be found working together in the Bastion, alongside Ansem the Wise himself. The Bastion is almost it's own entirely function community (of course, tied to Radiant Garden society by the people who work there), and is made up of several interlinking parts. - The Castle Guard:
The protectors and guards of Radiant Garden. These are brave men and women willing to sacrifice their lives for the good of their beloved world, and the safety of the citizens at large. Anyone interested in the art of the body will likely end up here in some way or another.
- Ansem's Closest
Although this usually means the closest apprentices of Ansem the Wise, it actually incorporates the entire scientific community that helps him provide for the people of Radiant Garden. The RGPC:The brave men and women who volunteer their services to serve the community in a variety of non-violent works projects and community activities. They are greatly recognized and appreciated for the role they play in helping the people of radiant garden communicate with The Bastion, whether that be calling the Castle Guard or commissioning an apprenticeship. And they still find time to take on more personal works projects such as organizing holidays, providing maintenance for public places and helping construction take place.

Olympus Coliseum[/size] How the World Works____ Races:The number of races present on this world is almost too much to count. Humans make up the largest civilized population with large cities and small villages located all over amongst the various animal wildlife and with their own kind divided up into different places and cultures. The immortal gods rule over the land with absolute power, their divinity making them powerful but usually similar in appearance to mortal men. Immortal monsters known as the Titans hold similar power, but are massive incarnations of raw elemental forces. Amongst these thrive a myriad of mythical creatures from minotaurs to hydras, harpies to satyrs, and cyclopes to centaurs. Some are rare monsters, others have thriving societies of their own, though smaller in number than that of the human's. Government:The gods are the absolute authority in this world, usually keeping to themselves but capable of demanding total obedience from almost all mortal creatures if they so need. The gods serve under one king who is recognized as the greatest and most powerful of them all after overthrowing the old chaotic regime of the Titans and locking them away. Their blissful paradise is kept separate from the realm of mortals and they usually have little need to interact with the world outside of curiosity or amusement, but are usually fair and kind compared to the old rulers. Below the gods people live their day-to-day lives mostly on their own terms, working their own systems of authority. Some lands have kings. Other places such as the city of Athens is so large that its people elect and govern themselves as their own state. Some people hide themselves away in dangerous places and work in familial clan-like societies, such as the Amazons. Wherever one goes the authority of the gods is known, if not always appreciated, and temples to various members of the Parthenon are common. Famous People____ Zeus:The ruler of the gods with great strength and command over lightning, Zeus was instrumental in overthrowing the Titans and making the world a safer place to live for mortals. His temples are the greatest of those erected to the gods. Hades:The god in charge of the Underworld, where mortal souls go to rest forever after death. Since no mortal can escape this fate Hades is known more than other gods from fear or inevitability than from reverence. His power over fire is often used to coerce uncooperative spirits. Hades resents his position under the earth's crust and often looks for ways to move himself upward in positions, usually by force. The Heroes:Hercules, Perseus, Jason, Achilles... this is a land of heroes, each with their own great stories and adventures. Tales of heroes are the favourites of the people, offering inspiration and security in a world that is still very dangerous for the common man. Philoctetes:A small, aged satyr known as a trainer of heroes. After preparing Hercules for the trials that would one day save the land from sure chaos Phil has become even more known than the "infamy" for training Achilles ever brought him. He currently runs the prestigious Olympus Coliseum and continues to pass on his knowledge to potential future heroes. The Fates:Three sisters, beings not gods yet immortal, who control the very destiny of all who live. With their threads they spin the lives of mortals and what directions their paths move, and with their scissors they cut them short and end each life that passes. Famous Events____ Gift of Fire:The time is unknown, but legend states that fire originally existed only on Mount Olympus. If not for a Titan taking pity upon the mortal humans and giving it to them as gift to survive it may never have existed in any of the worlds after the Fracture. Kingdom Fracture:The day when darkness fractured the light and divided the worlds. Titanomancy:Unstoppable giants called Titans stood unopposed as the greatest beings in existence, lording over the world with wrath and arrogance. Rise of the Gods:After an eon of chaos under the terrible rule of the Titans, Zeus rose up with the other gods and defeated their predecessors, taking over as the most powerful beings in the land, Hercules Becomes a True Hero:Aiming to take control of the world by force, the god Hades freed and took command of the Titans, directing them to topple the long-relaxed gods. Hercules, the son of Zeus who was turned mortal at birth by a dastardly plan of Hades', overcame great obstacles and thwarted this uprising, saving the land. When his love, Megara, died during the incident, Hercules still offered his life in exchange for hers. This selfless act of love led him to regain his immortality and save Meg. Hercules then gave up his immortality once more so he could life his life with the mortals, and the gods placed a constellation of him in the stars to forever recognize him as a true hero. The Olympus Cup:A grand coliseum was built high up on Mount Olympus, not as far as the realm of the gods but enough that the clouds drifted at the same level. This place would become one of the most famous landmarks around, a place where heroes could train and be made, inspiring the people and frightening away all evil with their very presence. To honour its opening a massive tournament was held, from which Hercules emerged as the champion; a title he has never failed to retain ever since. General World Description____ Thebes, a massive and sprawling city fraught with towering structures that lies at the feet of Mount Olympus, was once world renown for crime and an incredibly poor population before the introduction of the Olympus Coliseum. Since the sheer amount of traffic, booming tourism, and bustling businesses have come to the town, the place has really cleaned up its act and put on a good show for all the traveling champions. The city digs into the mountain at a respectable measure, so as to allow for the influx in population. Because of this, the city slopes-- the city rises up the mountain as you continue into the metropolis. They don't dare climb upwards any farther though, out of respect and maybe fear of the Parthenon. Mount Olympus. At its peak above the clouds is the paradise of the immortal gods, beyond the reach of men. Within mortal reach, however, is the world-famous Coliseum. Sitting on a mountain plateau of sandy brown rock atop a long, arduous path, the Coliseum is a huge grey-stoned building. Notices of upcoming tournaments and events are hung on the inside of the outer entrance walls. Giant gold statues and large burning torches of centurions standing guard at each side of its inner entrance. Within the inner hall lay displays of all past trophies and the names of the winners from many kinds of events. Within the Coliseum is a large sandy arena floor with spectator seating on both sides. Most of the time a square stone floor is placed in the center of the arena with a large pillar at each corner. A magical wall erected by the power of the gods locks the combatants inside to prevent any danger to those watching whenever there is thought to be a risk. Sometimes the entire inside including the seating is made a part of the battlefield to accommodate giant monsters. When not in use the open arena is the personal training facility of Philocetes, who works with up-and-coming heroes in numerous exercises. World Technology____ Man has been given fire and invented the wheel. They can build great cities and buildings out of heavy stone and carve great works of art. World Organizations____ The Parthenon:From atop Mount Olympus these are the gods who hold the highest power and thus highest authority in the world. They usually keep to themselves and allow humans to handle their own when it comes to direct governing. The Olympus Coliseum:A huge staff is needed to maintain the Coliseum's daily activities. From the director Phil to the assistant trainers to the marketing team to the maintenance staff, a lot of people work to keep the Coliseum going as well as its reputation demands. Most of them agree that the commute is almost not worth it, but few would ever say it out loud.

Twilight Town How the World Works____ Races: Humans populate the city and no other sentient life forms have been discovered. Common animals are found in the wilderness and sometimes kept as pets. Government: Twilight Town itself operates under a democratically-elected mayor who oversees the municipal operations of the government officials and services. The Supernatural: The world of Twilight Town isn't a place where magic does not exist, but within the town proper is it very rare to the point of mythical. The average citizen does not believe in magic, though the strange and unknown aren't as quickly dismissed as they are on some worlds either. Because of this open mind about the supernatural some legends like "The 7 Wonders of Twilight Town" get spread easily, telling tales of unusual or unbelievable events or oddities that exist in the town... though in that example they aren't necessarily true at all, even if magic does exist. Famous People____ Occupational The Mayor: Though the man or woman who holds this office in Twilight Town often changes they are always known by anyone who doesn't outright ignore current events. Personal Seifer Almasy: A teenage boy who is more infamous than famous, he is known for having a strange attitude. Seifer is simultaneously responsible for complaints of bullying among the young people of the town and praises for order among the young people. His methods are questionable, leaving half of the parents with children around his age with no doubt that the youth of the town would be better off without his unique brand of peer discipline and the other half not so sure. The Struggle Champ: Every summer a tournament of Twilight Town's favourite sport, Struggle, is held. The winner of this event is known as the town's Struggle Champion for at least the full year to come. Due to the popularity of the game they tend to become household names. Setzer Gabbiani: The current champion of the Summer Struggle, Setzer is a young adult man with a noticeable amount of flair. With stand-out fashion sense and a mysterious but charming personality he has become one of the more popular champions of recent years, earning many adoring fans(Many of which are female). Because of the mystery Setzer, may have a darker side to him that the public is unaware of, but for now he is best known for his showman gimmick of speaking with gambling metaphors. Famous Events____ Kingdom Fracture: The day when darkness fractured the light and divided the worlds. The Summer Struggle: An annual even held at the end of each summer vacation where kids and adults compete in the Town's favourite game. The Struggle involves two players against one another and striking their opponent with foam bats to knock loose game balls that can be taken for themselves. Whichever player ends the game with the most Struggle Balls wins. The champion of the summer tournament is given a belt passed down from winner to winner and a unique trophy decorated with four differently-coloured crystals. General World Description____ A large, modern town set near mountains and beaches. The people live, are educated, work, and play as almost any human society is expected to, though very peacefully. Situated in a Realm between those of Light and Darkness Twilight Town is set in a perpetual sunset. The horizon is always bright and orange when viewed from the world's surface. It's buildings are almost all made of a yellowish brick material. Outside the town walls themselves are forests, mountains, and even a nearby beach and sea. Also outside the town, hidden in a clearing of the forest, is an abandoned mansion surrounded by a permanently locked gate. Not much, if anything, is known about its origin or past inhabitants. It’s rumored to play a part in one of the “7 Wonders of Twilight Town.” In uncommon fashion, areas of the world exist as small floating landmasses high above the sight of the world below. These masses are usually no larger than small islands but many have small populations that sustain themselves. The common factor for those who live where the sky is always black and the other worlds dot it as white stars is magic. These few places where people live are the realm of Twilight Town's magicians and other magical people. A special magical vehicle known to the world below as the Ghost Train is the source of transportation sued by these beings when they need to move amongst themselves or between the higher and lower levels of the world. Because of this these small islands are mostly self-contained and largely unknown even to each other. World Technology____ Modern conveniences are everywhere in Twilight Town, even sophisticated computer technology. The most noticeable works of engineering in town, however, is the transit system. Rail-based trolleys on the streets and trains that connect different sections of the town and the areas outside of it are run on schedule every day. World Organizations____ The Municipal Government: Run by the mayor, the governing body of Twilight Town overlooks its day-to-day operations and the needs of the people. They are also responsible for the maintenance and safety of the transit systems. The Twilight Disciplinary Committee: A "volunteer organization" for teenagers created by infamous local teen Seifer Almasy. The Disciplinary Committee was formed a couple of years ago when kids causing problems in town were getting a little out of hand. Seifer's acts of peer-to-peer discipline for those still below being treated by the law as adults were certainly effective, if largely scorned. Still, the number of problems caused by young people in town does seem to have greatly reduced because of the Committee. Not everyone agrees if that is entirely good or bad.

Destiny Islands How the World Works____ Destiny Island is a string of islands clustered close together (relatively). There's one island which serves as the main inhabited island (it's the biggest one) and is located in the center of the cluster. Other islands vary in terms of how far out they are, compared to the main land (such as Dark Island aka Dark Isle). In terms of transportation, Destiny Islanders use boats. Since there are many sea routes, this is a common form of transportation and many jobs are linked to it. The second best way is by walking when on land. These two aspects link into the way of life for the islanders in general. Many make their livelihood through fishing. Those closer to the outskirts tend to farm as an alternative, though farming only takes place on the main island. If people aren't farming, then there's ferrymen/ferrywomen, whom will offer their boat to many people, forming public transportation around the islands. There are many other jobs centered around this way of life as well. Since they're on an island, seafood is the primary dish, though livestock is also bred. It's more of a commodity compared to what you can get right out of the ocean. Of interesting note is, despite being surrounded by saltwater of the ocean, there are various sources of fresh water around the islands. Referring back to farming, they get their water this way (for crops). Famous People____ The Legendary FishermanThose who have captured fish of incredible bounty. These fine men and women are honoured like heroes. It's partly sport but also to regulate the food supply. The MayorLeader of Destiny Islands, he ensures that the citizens work together to maintain the lifestyle many have grown fond of. The mayor has a council to help him with key decisions. Sports LegendsThe men/women whom rise to MVP status. They're the equivalent of celebrities around the island. Known for their skill and leadership alike. Legendary ExplorersThese are the sailors whom originally mapped out the islands. True pioneers that the current generation owe their knowledge of the islands to. Famous Events____ Kingdom FractureThe day when darkness fractured the light and divided the worlds. Summer GamesThis is a time when the island engages in all kinds of physical activity for sport. It's a competition through and through, whether it's Regional Sports Teams, Fisherman, or even races on land and sea. The games help to unite the island together and allow parents to spend time with their kids. Rainy SeasonA time when fierce storms occur along the coast of the islands. Through a community effort, the islanders prepare their homes for the worst and no boat activity occurs. Paopu SeasonWhen the Paopu begin to blossom and ripe, they are then picked by friends and lovers alike in order to be shared. As the legends say, those whom share a paopu fruit will have their hearts bonded together. While not as popular with the older crowd, the younger generations look forward to it. It's a rather romantic time. Seasonal FestivalsThese are community organized events, which feature dancing, open mic (traditional mics that were used for Radio prior to Television rising), and large banquets. Konger's TiradeSeasoned fisherman had discovered a reef where a mighty fish had claimed as it's territory. This deadly fish had bested fisherman for awhile, thus rising it's bounty significantly. So far only one has gotten close to it. That would be Mr. Yektaw, an old fisherman who is held in esteem amongst the Fisherman community. Perhaps he'll get this catch yet? General World Description____ In terms of geography, the islands are rather lush, completely sporting a tropical feel. Tall palm trees, white sands, caves, and various mountain structures formed by prior volcanic activity (thousands of years back) are what give the world it's feel. Of course it's not just palm trees that stack the island. Various tropical plants and fruit bearing plants act as rich foliage. Coconut trees, Paopu trees, these are things the island takes pride in. The coastlines are lined up with beautiful white beaches, though these beaches vary form island to island, in terms of location. In case of the mainland, it's further along the outskirts mostly. Whilst the roads are made up of a darker blend (beige in colour). Likewise along the mainland there is lush green grass and organized roadways, which separate the houses. Other islands are more based on rock structures or swamps. Those islands aren't inhabited, though people visit them quite often. Each of these islands vary in size and structure. Some sporting a simple circular feel, others possessing unusual shapes. One of the most prominent aspects of Destiny Islands is the various tropical crops it contains. When thinking about farming, many harvest various fruits like coconuts, paopu, mangoes, etc. The rich colours these fruit trees provide add to the beauty of this world. World Technology____ Technology wise citizens of the islands have basic technology (no computers, televisions, etc), such as Radios, gas based stoves, fire places, etc. Simple conveniences without the 21st century enhancements and is mostly utilized in terms of standard of living (Regulating Water Supply/Sewage for example). Breakthroughs are mostly isolated to transportation and equipment (such as better fishing rods, nets, things to help people work). Houses also benefit from this advancement, being built on a more open concept with bright colours (no 'island shacks'). Though it does lack traditional building structures, in favour of one to two story "shop" structures. This provides a rather small village feel. World Organizations____ Organizations in Destiny Island are based on occupation mostly. There is a group for Fisherman, a group for Public Transportation, Island Council (which is headed by the Mayor), Schools, Hospitals, Sports Teams, etc. Let's break them down further: FishermanResponsible for the islands food supply, these brave men and women voyage out to sea. Depending on how involved one is with the Fisherman, they're likely to have better boats than the regular citizen. This can be because fisherman will work together and have a bigger boat to set for sail (one that can carry multiple fishermen, harness nets better, etc), or even just a better rowing boat. SchoolsResponsible for educating citizens, it has a typical structure that many can relate to: Elementary, Junior High, High School, College/University. Schools catering to younger crowd (Elementary to High School) have a standard uniform requirement. The colours may vary per district (North, South, West, East). Public TransportationThese are the Sailors of Destiny Island. Voyaging the sea for the love of the sea. They transport people round the islands and even sail beyond. It is thanks to their efforts that maps have been made of more hospital islands. Islands such as the Dark Isle are avoided due to the distance and seemingly foreboding structure. Sports TeamsThis is reserved not just for School Teams but for actual competitive play around the main island itself. These are regional Teams which are broken down into Age brackets as well as gender. Because Destiny Islanders have an outdoor lifestyle, sports hold a high value in their society. It's also a form of entertainment, in that many will gather to watch these games. Despite this, the games themselves are organized on a more casual level, lacking specific play fields and other more serious aspects seen in financially sponsored sports leagues. Island General HospitalThe mainland has two main hospitals located on the West and East Side respectively. If the community grows further, a hospital may be developed for a particular region (North or South most likely). When not on the mainland, many carry a first aid kit and some of the larger islands have a small medical facility to treat visitors (more like a small clinic). SailorsThese are the brave men and women who explore and work with the geography of the islands. Whilst many may work in Public Transportation, others go for private ventures or even just to see the unknown.

Port Royal How the World Works____ Port Royal is a trading post, a settlement town established by the British. To that end, the Motherland, as well as the rest of the Kingdom, have their boats continually coming in and out of Port Royal. Trade is the aim of the game here, but that doesn't mean Port Royal hasn't developed it's own resources to use. Exploration and Settlement is an important factor in this world. Munny is not the only form of economic exchange. There be Gold in this world, treasures hoarded by ancient civilization. Only in Port Royal is this treasure of equal exchange in certain places (on sea with pirates/sailors, mostly), though legal treasure expeditions can be exchanged for Munny. In terms of transportation, well crafted boats which harness large sails sail in and out. Since the sea is the primary roadways here. However when on land, horses and carriages are a means of getting from one place to the next. Famous People____ Governor Weatherby Swann: Crossed from England to settle Port Royal. Father to Elizabeth Swann, whom he adores and dotes upon freely. Elizabeth Swann: Daughter of Governor Weatheryby Swann. Ever since she was a child, she’s had an obsession with pirates. Commodore James Norrington: The man in charge of the squadron that resides on Port Royal. He’s got a horrible dislike for pirates. Captain Barbossa: A man so evil that hell itself spat him back out. Barbossa is the captain of the Black Pearl, a boat with black sails and is nigh uncatchable, its entire crew is of the damned, Barbossa included. Captain Jack Sparrow:The former Captain of the Black Pearl. He's a rather loopy fellow. Despite how unintelligent he comes off as, he’s actually surprisingly witty. Aztec CivilizationKnown for their awesome technology (Calendar, Monuments) as well as their treasure. This ancient civilization has left a curse upon its precious gold or so the legends say. Despite Bill finding the cove where it exists, the knowledge is floating in the rumour mill once more. Famous Events____ Kingdom Fracture: The day when darkness fractured the light and divided the worlds. Arrival from the MotherlandThe day the British arrived from England to settle in Port Royal. This is a holiday in Port Royal celebrated every year. It is tradition for the Queen to send her regards during this day. Commodore Norrington’s Promotion: After years of serving as Captain, Captain Norrington achieves the new rank of Commodore. TreasonThe day which first mate Barbossa takes over the Black Pearl, in order to become Captain Barbossa. In this mutiny, Jack is ousted and the crew sets sail to search for the cursed treasure of the Aztecs. Seizing the Aztec TreasureThe Black Pearl successfully covets the Aztec Gold. It is during this time that they've become cursed, damned by the very greed which pushed them to claim the treasure. Now they wander the seas in order to return the lost coins. General World Description____ Port Royal is located on a Caribbean island settled by the British. As a port side town, one of the most prominent locations is the Harbour. The Harbour is akin to a garage for many ships. One of the most notable ships is the Interceptor, which is property of the Queen and is off limits to civilians. The town consists of barracks in order to defend itself from pirates, black smith's, schools, and other conveniences. When one comes in by boat, they're checked out to ensure they can be docking in Port Royal. This is because of the many trades which take place throughout the Caribbean, as well as the Motherland. Agrabah How the World Works____ Like many desert based locale, sandstorms are a large threat. They can easily decimate towns, thus when one is spotted, many have to retreat to underground shelters/caves. Outside of Agrabah's borders, the barren desert is vast and free to roam. Within these deserts lies the occasional oasis, a tropical paradise within the strangest patches of land. The further one ventures from Agrabah, which acts as the center of the upper portion of the world, the closer one gets to the darker side. The bottom of this world, at its very center is the chosen spot for the Cave of Wonders to manifest. These dark areas have many caves, perfect for hideouts, hiding treasures, and shady activity as a whole. The first thing one should know about this world is that it operates on a monarchy. Various kingdoms have a palace, with a Sultan as ruler. They rule their respective desert/town and ensure the peace and prosperity of their kingdom. Like in many societies, there exists a divide in social status. This is due to wealth and family heritage, resulting in a ruling class of aristocrats, monarchy, and their advisers...then there are riff-raff, thieves who lurk in the darkest recesses... They are like pirates, searching for rare treasures. There exists two key sides to this mystical world. There exists the light side of the world where many Kingdoms exist. Then there is the dark side of the world, positioned on the bottom side. These are treacherous deserts, venturing to their darkest reaches is suicide! There is a rumour amongst those that live here that rare and valuable treasures exist within these parts. As such, thieves claim this region and other unexplored areas as their own. Famous People____ The SultanRuler of a Kingdom, Princess Jasmine's father is the current Sultan, making him the ruler of Agrabah. He's ruled for many, many years. Though short and rather round in stature, he is self-proclaimed an "excellent judge of character." He follows his heart and knows when to abide the laws and when to improvise. Princess JasmineDaughter of the sultan and a Princess of Heart. Princess Jasmine lives within the palace walls, having never seen life outside it. As each year goes by, she's become rather curious about the outside world. She's also yet to be wed to a prince... JafarOne of the Sultan's most trusted advisors. A Grand Vizier, Jafar is a wise and cunning man with a shady past. He's well versed and has traversed the farthest reaches of the world, making him quite wise. He's also a sorcerer, possessing knowledge of spells and magical artifacts alike. The King of ThievesThe identity of the King of Thieves is unknown to those in authority. He is the leader of the world's most nefarious guild, a group of 40 thieves who have stolen many of the world's finest treasures. They are like pariahs, unseen and unheard until a target is within their sights. Captain of the Guards - Razoul Razoul is best described as a Lawful good servant, however his obsession with punishing those who break the laws tend to be his downfall. It acts as a prejudice which blinds him from seeing the good in one's heart. Razoul faithfully follows orders and commands the guards. Razoul is often out on the street, trying to "Keep the peace." AladdinAn infamous "Street Rat" who prowls the streets of Agrabah. He's notorious for escaping Razoul and the Guard's as he steals from market vendors. His motto: "I steal only what I can't afford" applies to everything since he is orphaned. His companion in crime is a monkey named Abu. Together they cause havoc every morning (as well as lunch and dinner no doubt). Famous Events____ Kingdom FractureThe day darkness fractured the light and divided the worlds. Rise of a SultanThe appointment of the Sultan is always a tremendous occasion. Many of the royal families on the world gather from the far-off corners in order to celebrate. Discovery of the Cave of WondersA prominent explorer had found the golden scarab, a magical treasure piece which serves to awaken the Cave of Wonders. At the moment it’s believed to be lost, but the scarab leads one to the lower portion of the world, where the nights are quite dark, as well as cold. The rumours go that the one who discovered it was a "Diamond in the Rough." Since then many dare not seek it unless they're certain that they posses the title. For those who do, they can enter the Cave of Wonder in order to take possession of a magic lamp. Its contents are that of a Genie, who will grant his master three wishes. This tale is like a legend amongst explorers, thieves, and other people who seek it out. Rise of the Thief GuildsWith famous kingdoms comes a separation in social class. When the population of riff-raff grew too much, many rose up as thieves in order to steel riches and make a living. This rise would eventually come to form the 40 Thieves. General World Description____ Agrabah is a world encompassed by its many deserts. Easily described as the "Middle East" in terms of geographical relation, the days are "hotter than hot." The nights, while cooler, are still very warm, which affects the clothing style. Many adorn turbans or some headgear in order to keep cool. Building structures are built through a type of concrete slab and clay. They're built in varying stories and feature open windows, with no glass structure. This is to allow the desert breeze to flow through and keep circulation. Despite the desert setting, there are small oases throughout the world. These hidden paradises are sought by all, but few ever survive to find them. There are many magical treasures in this world. Rumours of magic lamps, caves filled with treasure...truly incredible things can be found within. Scattered across the world are various other kingdoms, town settlements with their own palaces and Sultans alike. In terms of Agrabah, the streets contain various homes of one, two, and three story buildings. These buildings with multiple stories do not necessarily portray wealth, rather it is to house larger families under one roof (including extended family). The area around the immediate boundaries of the palace is the market place. The Market Place is a large open source complex, able to fit various vendors' booths. Many of these vendors have their booth adjacent to their home. These people represent a higher class of people due to the wealth they have. World Technology____ There's no "Televisions," "Computers," etc to see in Agrabah. Here we have the wheel, which we've utilized for wagons, wheel barrows, etc. A very early model of a furnace exists within this world and is advancement for the rich. Waterworks is very limited and much more hands on. Weapons are plentiful but are mostly melee (Cutlass, saber, spear, knives, axes, pitchforks, etc). Bow and arrows also exist and serve as one the only projectile based weapons. Watches do not exist here, instead hour glasses are the time telling method. Pottery sculpting tools exist though not as automated as modern day equipment. Other gadgets seen within the world vary such as hammers, grappling hooks (non projectile base, so one must spin and launch it themselves), amongst other tools. World Organizations____ Palace StaffThe men and women who handle operation of the Palace. They take care of everything from gardening, cleaning, cooking, advising the sultan, and guard duty. Forty ThievesNotorious criminals who steal treasures from the rich or search the far globe for magical treasures. Vendors GuildA community run guild for Market Place Vendors. They operate on a safety watch and insure that there's not too much competition amongst themselves in the market place. This was largely formed to further protect themselves from thieves (when the Guard can't catch their assailant). Many of these vendors will take the law into their own hand.
