Your Destiny is to Venture Upon It

Name: Sheikh (Raziel Ba'al)
Race: Human
Age: 25
Gender: Male
Homeworld: Agrabah
Your Decisions Will Decide the Outcome of the Universe

Appearance: Sheikh
(Minus the tie of course.)
Personality:•General Persona: Sheikh is like many other people of Agrabah, making ends meet by keeping one's priorities focused on what may be most easily stolen and bartered for the highest price. This lifestyle has left him with a wit to do the fastest course of action to lead him to a quick getaway in most occasions. While this tendency springs out of a hit and run mindset that has worked well for Sheikh, he specializes best in being methodical, biding his time, and observing a situation (this is the exception to the rule though, occurs much less). Sheikh credits his unknown family line to his patience, which for some reason or another has given him a more leisurely attitude despite his constant state of starvation and survival of the fittest in Agrabah (Sheikh did raise himself, so he often blames his family for the negatives others place on him).
Though poor and not well fed, Sheikh's ability to survive and toughness has given him a fair bit of confidence and resiliency towards adversity. He's very easy to talk to and work with, but in the end Sheikh should not be trusted to put his neck on the line for others. It's not that he's a jerk, it's just that he's never had to or is willing to trust anyone else for a long period of time.
Sheikh is an exceptionally well talented singer, thus he loves to hear himself speak. One time darting about on Agrabah's rooftops while running from very angry guards hired by a street merchant, Sheikh broke into song. Never mind that he and his companions were carrying 20 pound fruit bags, or that they stumbled and Sheikh continued on his merry way, not noticing until the guards were kicking his fellow thieves blue in the face. Consequently all companions require Sheikh run behind them from now on.
•Inner Thought Process: Underneath an otherwise suave, cool persona is a very meticulous, paranoid scavenger. Sheikh's instinct he listens to the most is satisfaction over curiosity. Whatever assures Sheikh that he is in no danger of being stabbed in the back will be carried out in his mind at one point or another. If not possible, Sheikh will run from whatever distresses him.
Even deeper than Sheikh's sense of self preservation is a blocked off feeling towards his family. In reality, Sheikh's resents everything about whoever and whatever his family is, as they abandoned him (loyalty means nothing to Sheikh). Deeper questions into Sheikh's past will be met with humor first, then suspicion that quickly leads to a punch in the face.
The final layer within Sheikh is a lack of self identity. Something that Sheikh himself isn't aware of, but is a state of complete lack of inhibition. Every time he's felt this he's forgotten everything and woken up some period of time in the future in a place he has no idea how he got there.
•Fears: Sheikh has a deep fear for salt water. He has never seen salt water, nor much water at that. But the idea of water that cannot be drunk bothers Sheikh greatly.
•Pleasures: Sheikh loves him some thieving. If he's going after a high risk, high reward item that he's allowed to plan for in advance, he is at times aroused.
•Quirks: Sheikh is not his actual name, but he is not aware of this (no one is that Sheikh is aware of). In his sleep Sheikh has very lucid dreams, so much that he often sleep walks and talks in his sleep. But With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility

Primary Weapon Name:Morgan
Primary Weapon Type:Ruby tipped Wand
Primary Weapon Description:A white-wood one foot wand that is tipped with a small ruby at the very end. Sheikh has had this wand with him since he was a young lad. Presumably the only belonging from his family. The ruby is warm to the touch, but otherwise Morgan is a typical wand.
Secondary Weapon Name:Kris Blade
Secondary Weapon Type:Short Sword
Secondary Weapon Description: A thin metal blade with wave like curves, designed to inflict maximum damage on the victim's body. Wounds left by a sword like this are incredibly difficult to stitch up or heal through normal means.

But Your History Decides Your Version of "Responsibility"
History:
Raised in the streets of Agrabah by his own bootstraps, Raizel Ba'al is just another thief hiding amongst the poor. Going by the single name of Shiekh (a title which has drawn him the ire of actual Shiekhs'), Shiekh is well respected among his kin. He is not the most powerful or influential of his kind, but he is on the kinder side. In every heist and operation he pulls off, some amount of his pickings go to families he watches over and fellow thieves. Of course, Shiekh expects a warm place to stay in return and will not hesitate to turn on a former benefactor if it is the difference between capture and freedom.
Agrabah has taught Shiekh that it is better to walk the line of neutrality than stray into righteousness or outright terror. However, he has thought of joining the Forty Thieves, if only he knew how. In the meantime he is often found eating whatever fruit he nabs in the mornings, on top of some rooftop watching the palace from afar.
When Shiekh leaves the city of Agrabah it is only after a particularly bad ordeal with guards to lay low, or on rare occasion, news of his family. What few know about Sheikh is that he was abandoned, and not in fact a runaway from a pimp, who was supposedly his father and wanted to feed him to desert jackrabbits and cobras, as he tells many. The details of why he was abandoned are very fuzzy to Sheikh, and he does not think on the matter. The more he does, the more he learns, and Sheikh is fine staying ignorant.
In recent days, however, Sheikh's dreams have begun to show and tell him things not so fun to lucidly dream about. A door opens, something similar to the Palace's, except it does not open to light or darkness, but something unfamiliar altogether.
