The year is 2007. Exactly a year has passed since the Volturi came to Forks. With Renesmee growing up fast and new additions to the family, The Cullens now live happily and at peace with the werewolves in Forks.
But that is not all.
Having managed to survive Seth’s attack Riley has returned to Forks in search of the Cullens. Instead of wanting to harm them, he seeks their help to become like them. During his time away his human memories came back to him and he wanted to return to his parents, if not even just see them once or twice. But he doesn’t want to hurt them so asks for the Cullens help since they don’t hunt humans.
But this is difficult for him as he was trained to be a vicious killer from the start. As the Cullen's help, an unknown source tells Riley's parents that they saw Riley at the Cullen's house. They go there in hope that he is there. When they turn up Riley is still not able to control his thirst. Despite the Cullen's trying to stop him, he confronts his parents as the monster, red eyed.
If that wasn’t enough trouble a new coven of vampires, the Dowswells, have moved into town, killing any living thing that comes into their path. Tensions are building between the Cullens and the Quilettes and the Volturi are curious.
