Sora ducked beneath Riku's second attack, but the first one managed to hit him. He was definitely learning Riku's fighting style, even if he hadn't developed a decent one of his own yet. Sora retaliated with two swings in Riku's direction, hoping to catch his friend off guard.

Grinning, Riku let Sora's counterattacks hit him. Now that he was a hit ahead, he could afford to sacrifice a couple. While Sora attacked, Riku launched a three-hit combo against the spiky haired youth.

Sora took the first two hits, and tried to counter the third, but ended up catching his wood sword on Riku's. His went flying out of his hand, landing with a loudly audible PLOP in the water. "Aw, man... Okay, Riku, you win. Hey, about the other worlds thing... If there are other worlds out there, and we could go to them, you'd take me with you, right?" Sora asked, sitting down in the sand and accepting the fact that Riku had beat him yet again. Oh well, Sora would get him next time, he was sure of it. "Then, we could have real adventures, like you say."

Sora seemed to be taking his loss fairly well, as expected. Kneeling down in the sand next to them, he nodded eagerly. "Of course! I need a good backup man. Who knows what's out there in the other worlds, after all."
He felt his familiar excitement rising up again. Real adventures. Finally, something that would REALLY challenge him. "Yeah! We'll finally get to the real adventures, after all this nonsense on the beach."
Noting that the moon was high in the sky, he frowned. It was pretty late. "Come on, let's get going."
