 Este, an isolated region from the rest of the Pokémon world. Trainers flood the harbors from Sinnoh, attempting to reach the infamous Lapis town laboratory located near the cool, calm ocean. Everyone comes to the Este region to experience what it means to be a trainer and catch the wide array of Pokémon that reside on the ever changing land that is Este. Pokémon aren't the only thing luring these young trainers to the region; the Gym Leaders are some of the toughest around, its the running trend to try and defeat all of them.
Of course, this place isn't the Pokémon paradise that it sounds like. The elements are brutal, one moment you're headed down a sunny pathway and five minutes later the temperature has dropped below zero with Ice Pokémon attacking from every direction. The people of Este don't take much mind to it; the older people who live here tend to just get nostalgia from their childhood when a sudden blizzard freezes over a summer day. But...there is a hidden threat growing deep inside the heart of the region that no-one will expect.
