Many citizens of Halloween Town have been locked inside of their homes due to one of the Doctor's experiments rampaging through the streets. Unlike his other failed robots this machine has come alive, but not in a good way, it wants blood, which is why most of the citizens are hiding inside. Though, some are brave enough to stay outside. They are pretty abnormal creatures after all, it wouldn't be Halloween Town without them. The Mayor has called through microphone anyone who is brave enough to face the Doc's experiment. He has announced that 'it must be destroyed.' Though, the Doctor would prefer that it be intact. He may want to experiment some more on it and not make it have such a 'destructive' intent. An experiment is after all an experiment and the outcome may not always be 'good.'
So, who will be brave or scary enough to face it?

Chery was going along a few dark alleyways trying to avoid people but the one thing that she couldn't avoid was the Mayor's call for help. No matter where you are, you'll hear him. As Chery was going back to her spot a lot of things were going through her mind... 'Why does Doctor keep doing this, nothing good comes out of it?' 'I hope I don't come in contact with that experiment...' 'I wonder where Mama is?' 'I hope comes back soon.' More was going through her head but all in all she was repeating herself to stay calm, everything she was away from her spot she was always on edge always looking around with bright ruby eyes.
She finally made it back to the graveyard as she loosen the grip on her cloak. She started looking over the graves until... there it was... her spot. A weathered-down tombstone 'lounging' underneath a barren old tree. She moved up to her spot, looked around and then sat herself down in the same spot she always sat waiting for the one person that would never come.

All seemed quiet in this dark, dank place. It was night and there was a fog cresting over the buildings and home of Halloween Town. But, further out in the graveyard the fog crested the ground. If one was to walk through it they couldn't see a foot or two in front of them. It was dense but then at the same time it wasn't. It was as if it couldn't make up its mind. The fog was a bit spotty in places and the half-moon created a aura out of the fog. There was such a 'gap' in the fog, seeming to create a circle around the tombstone and tree that a young girl sat upon.
An odd sound broke through the silent night.
Vrrr.....thummp!
Vvvrrrrrr....thump!
Out of the fog surrounding the tree came something. It was about six feet tall. Its torso had a box like shape to it. And coming from its so called head, were two red glowing eyes. In the center of its torso was a heart shape that had the same glow emitting from it, there was some metal protecting the glow though. It looked at the young girl, standing there now, the fog behind it now. Its red eyes stared at her.
Vvvvrrrrrrrrr....aa soouull..
It spoke. Its voice monotonic and robotic sounding. It moved again towards her with the same sounds it had entered with.

The fog came all of a sudden and Chery was a little scared but she was also comfort. This fog was a blessing in disguise, if Chery could barely see anything in front of her then nobody couldn't see her either which brought her some peace of mind.
But then that sound came and this blessing now seem to make her situation worst. And then finally see it she was sweating, this had to be that horrid experiment that the Mayor had talked about earlier. This thing, it's massive size... those eyes... this was just making her sweat but when that thing spoke she was shaking badly and tears were starting to swell up in her eyes and she basically lost her ability to speak. Like any damsel in distress the only she could do in this situation is to start crab walking away from it. She was moving backward when she bumped in to the tree. Sensing that she was 'cornered' the next she did was turn tail and run away. Jumping over gravestones and running blind until she found a hiding spot behind a gravestone. With shallow breathing she hoped that the experiment doesn't find her.

Given the things bulky size and weight it wasn't nearly as fast as Chery was, actually it was much slower. It walked towards the tree that the girl had become 'cornered' underneath but turned its head as its prey slipped away jumping over gravestones. It turned its head so that its beady red eyes were now facing the direction Chery had fled. Slowly it began to turn its body towards the direction Chery had gone and then after a few moments continued after her with the same clicking and thumping noise, leaving huge footprints in the dirt due to its massive size and weight.
Vvvvrrrrr.....thump..
Vvvvrrr....thump...
It continued in its pursuit. But, of where the girl had gone it did not know. It just knew that she was here somewhere, probably hiding behind some tombstone or tree. It stopped near a tombstone and a spikey-ball like weapon appeared from one of its arms and slammed into the tombstone. Breaking it into pieces. It continued forward and continued to do this with other tombstones that were in its way, crushing the remaining pieces of the tombstones with its giant mechanical feet.
Chery couldn't run or hide from this thing forever. Would it be best to fight it? But, what tricks or weapons did it have beneath its dull-silver metal that made up its mechanical body? What had the Doctor programmed into it?
Eiether, continue running from it, fight it or, perhaps run away towards the Doctor's place to ask for help and to gather information.

The smashing of gravestones was not settling with Chery at all, and those swells in her eye became full blown tears, 'luckily' her inability to speak kept her silent as she fearfully cry. But this wasn't help her situation at all, as she once again started running away again to get away from this thing. Nothing was going to come save her nothing was, not even her own mother. So she just ran, not thinking of where to go or what to do, she just ran until she was out of the graveyard. Running was really the only thing she could do, until she fell and blacked-out.
This would spell the end for Chery, but the beginning for DC as she got up and lightly dusted herself off. Now DC would be more than happy to face this thing but honestly she didn't know what makes it tick, so it would be better to the creator to understand it's ways.
After some running, DC was going up the stair to the good Doctor's door. She stood in front of it, cleared her thoart and... started hammering the door and making fake cries for help. It wasn't need but DC always like seeming helpless before she has her way.

The thing continued to whack away at nearby tombstones that were in its way. It was in pursuit of the young girl still but its unknowledgeable mind was centered on just finding the girl, not trying to figure out how or where she exactly might be. That whacking away at the tombstones probably wasn't the smartest idea. But the stupid robot wasn't exactly smart now was it. It hadn't really had the time or mind to try and learn anything from its creator.
It spotted the girl as she ran out from behind a tombstone and then vanished into the fog. The robot smashed a tombstone and then advanced forward, slowly following in pursuit of its prey. It wasn't exactly the fastest monster in the world, but it could pack one hell of a hit. If the girl had stayed and it had found her, it would of probably hit her really good and knocked her out. But coincidentally, she had tripped and fell unconscious. Perhaps, it could catch up.
If she hadn't gotten up again and thought of a bright idea to get help from its creator.
"Yeaah..yeaa, I'm coming. I'm coming." came the annoyed voice of the doctor who didn't like to be disturbed when he was at work. He could hear the cries from someone at his front door. Eventually, given that he was in a wheel-chair, the Doctor made it to the front door. Some device opening the door for him as he scooted towards the open door. He looked at the girl and said, "Eeh, what do you want?" His brow wrinkled as he did, he said this in an annoyed-busy tone. It seemed that he didn't have the time or manners to help someone defeat his own experiment.
Try to convince the doctor to help you and/or give you some information on his creation.

DC started crying (fake) as she fell to her knees and crawled up to the Doc's feet. Oh please you have to help me. Your creation is out in the graveyard and it was trying to kill me when I all really wanted to was pay my respects to my old Gram-gram. I was so scared that I was going to die. Please your the only one who help me, please, please.
On the inside DC had to smile to herself, this was great in fact this beat having to be a flirt to get something. Although it was too earlier to say but who cares, with a performance this good I could catch myself a sucker with this damsel trick. Now all I need to do is add a little more tears and I should have him.

He looked down at the pleading girl as she fell to her knees and crawled up to his feet, he scooted his wheelchair backwards some to stop her from grabbing his feet. He stared at her, his brow still wrinkled. He saw her crying and couldn't help but feel a tinge of guiltiness for his invention trying to hurt her. It hadn't been his intention for his invention to go rampaging through the town looking for blood. "Uuuhh... I suppose I'll help you since it is my invention. And, I would rather have you not destroy it..it took awhile to create that thing ya know."
However, he would want something in return for helping her (even though it was his creation that was trying to kill her.) "I want you to do something for me though, I need some plants from around town." If she was willing to get him a few things, then he'll help her defeat his robot-invention.

Damn he's not making this easy for me... whatever I'm getting what I want anyways. She quickly lifted her head letting a few tears roll down her cheecks as she gave a joyful smile. Oh thank you... Thank you. So where can these plants?

The doctor never had the kindness to invite the young pleading girl into his place, he left her standing/kneeling at his doorstep. He continued to have a grumpy almost annoyed look on his face. He had been working and had been rudely interrupted, even when the banging on his door had been caused by one of his own experiments. (I suppose he figured that other people would take of his mistakes.) His expression didn't change as the young girl smiled, "Eeh, they're located around the town..there are some in the graveyard though.." he explained to her. He then handed her a parchment of paper with the list of plants and their supposed locations.
Below is the list you are given; The name of each plant is given along with their location.
Plants Needed
- Pumpkissious Weed --- Plaza, known to grow around the fountain - Umbkilion Pollen -- Pollen from a flower, located somewhere near Moonlight hill before coming to Boogie's mansion - Pepple Grass -- Hinderlands - Snoffle Acorn -- A tree in Hinderlands - Gingerroot - [No location given].
Go and search for each plant, you can only ask about one of the plants. The doctors patience is wearing thin, better hurry. He crosses his arms, expecting you to leave.
[Hint: Take note..of what he said before he handed you the paper...]

D.C. looked at the list and sighed to herself. Great... a grocery list. Oh and look at this he didn't even finish it, little crippled grump. Of course this was going to happen anyways so there wasn't really anything that she could have done change it.
D.C. slipped the list into a safe place and cleared her throat as she leaned forward to make eye contact with the 'good' doctor and sweetly smiled at him. I don't suppose you can explained why there isn't a location for the Gingerroot. D.C. had a feeling that the doc would just kick her out of the house, but she had to ask anyways.

"Aye.." he said rubbing his temples with his hand, "It's located in the graveyard," he said to her. "As I stated before," he added. He then made a motion with his hands for her to be gone.
Go and look for the plants, limited or no hints will be given. But you must look. It will be indicated if you have found them or not.

So with nothing else to say she just stepped out of the house and onto the porch as she pulled the list out and looked at it again. Okay so the first thing on this list is the... pumpkissious weed. Around the foutain huh, that shouldn't be too hard. D.C. slipped the list back in it safe spot, and walked down the stairs to the foutain. When she reached the foutain, she started looking slowly around the foutain for this weed.
(I roll a d20 for Search Check, lol)

Upon reaching the fountain you see many weeds and plants surrounding the fountain. Growing up out of cracks and crevices. You were given no description of the plant so it is hard to determine which plant is which. However, you see a lonely plant that seems to stand out in the crowd of green and brown plants. This plant is an olive green color and has a orange colored (much like the color of a pumpkin) bulb like flower growing out of it.
Go and investigate this flower er, plant.
