Rookie Tournament [MALTHUS]

Malthus grinned, Burning Horizon disappearing. "Yeah." He said, hissing through his teeth. "I could've kept going, but, ah..." He shook her hand, glancing at the large amount of cuts covering his body. "I've got some recovery work to do anyways. Both me and you could probably use a rest. Just wait until I tell you about my fight in the semi-finals!"

He glanced at Phil. "We're done here!" He grinned.

Phil bit back an "Yeah, I can see that!". Honestly, with this crowd...

*FWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET*

The crowd promptly stood up, and left-- politely clapping before doing so, I assure you, but again... these people are mainly here to support folks like Vir, Sephiroth, Yatusatari, and Prell who've got family in the area. No offense!

And I'm sure no offense will be taken from the look of moderate respect coming from Hercules, clapping quite seriously over by Phil.

Tournament aides quickly shuffled Malthus and Yatusatari back to the waiting area, and got them some much needed bandages and water while the crowd thinned out and the field was cleaned up appropriately.

And then they were shuffled back out to the empty arena, facing Phil and Hercules themselves.

"Alright," started Phil, an edge of sarcasm in his voice, "for starters, congrats to both of you for still having two legs to stand on after all this. Gotta say, this wasn't your average rookie tourney." Phil barked out another laugh.

Hercules nodded, holding back one himself.

"Yatasu-- er, Yutata--" Phil scratched his head for a second. "...cough, for the runner-up, we got about 200 Munny here for ya. Don't spend it all in one place.

"Malthus," Phil went on, pulling out a second Munny pouch, "you get 400 Munny. Congrats on first place, kid-- my munny was on the Prell girl, frankly. Also," he said with a greater tone, "feel free to drop by for the amateur tournaments anytime-- no reason for that skill of yours to go rusty."

"Congratulations to both of you," Hercules said in a I-am-the-neutral-party voice, "It was rough back there, and you've both got a lot of talent. Hope to see you guys stick around."

And then they were ushered out again, to the main gates, and complimentary Olympus Coliseum water bottles.
