There he was, in the middle of the Market Street. He stood there, seemingly alone until a stranger walked by. After that, he was alone again, his eyes staring straight into the caramel colored sky. He noticed the clouds drifting slowly along an undefined path, occasionally blocking out parts of the sun and then leaving, only to have the sun reappear again. He stood near the track of the Tram car, but not directly on it.
Galvin had only now started his journey towards finding Orcion. He had no leads, no one to help him. Nothing. The Tram rolled by, the sound of wheels against stone giving the mage a warm feeling of sorts. He didn't know what it was about the sound of the car passing by that made him calmer. It just happened with no explanation.
Galvin snapped back into reality, looking around to see if anyone was staring at him with weird looks. There was no one, as he suspected. The Apprentice Mage grabbed a small sack he had put on the ground and loosened the strings that held it together, taking a look inside of it. He had some fruit, a few sheets of paper and a pencil to write down anything, and his dagger. His Mythril Rod was attatched to his back by a brown, leather harness. "Where are you, Master Orcion? Give me a sign of some sort, please?"
There was nothing. Not even the sound of the Tram car was able to be heard. Only his breathing.

Seifer happened to hear the strangely-dressed kid saying something equally strange, and looked. He was in a position where the kid probably hadn't noticed him, so Seifer decided to show him not to be quite so weird. He came up behind the kid and cleared his throat loudly enough to be heard. "Shout all you want, all you're going to do is wake everybody up. And who would you be?"

Such a rude to make an introduction. This voice was from a young man. Galvin couldn't determine his age from his voice. The mage could only stand for a second and regain his calm nature before he melted this man's face off. With his regained mental stability, the Apprentice Mage turned to face the person behind him, prepared to give the man a very stern look as to not disturb him, but a stern look was one that the mage couldn't keep.
The person was no one but a young boy. Maybe in his older teens. Galvin gave a small chuckle, preparing an answer to give to the blonde teenager. "I'm surprised such a strong voice came from you. My name is Galvin Renolds. You can call me Galvin, if you like."" There was nothing to be feared. The boy in front of him stood no chance against his arcane powers if he was here to pick a fight.

"Seifer," He introduced himself, raising an eyebrow at the man's haughty tone. Seifer doubted the man had even been in a fight before, much less be able to take him on. "You're new here, or I wouldn't have had to introduce myself. What brings you to Twilight Town? Looking for someone to teach you more magic? Good luck, there aren't many magic users in town that I know of."

"I'm not new to Twilight Town. I was born here and I've lived here for my whole life. It's you who I don't know." Galvin nodded to this and tightened the strand on his sack so that he could sling it over his shoulder. The mage looked around for a moment or two and returned to Seifer. "No magic users? What makes you so sure that I'm a magic user. That's a pretty big assumption for someone like you, kid."
That was pretty much what Seifer was to Galvin. A kid. A kid that somehow knew a mage by pure intuition. It was a bit startling at first, but it didn't bother Galvin to much. Whether or not Seifer knew he was a mage or not didn't make his magic less frightening or powerful.

"You've got a staff and you're shouting for a master. The closest thing to a swordsman around here is me, so I just put things together. And if you were really from around here, you'd know who I was. You mean to say you live here and you don't know the name 'Seifer Almasy'?" Seifer asked, not seeming too intimidated by the older guy. The monsters in the sewer had been a hundred times scarier than this guy.
((For the record, a Neoshadow and several Shadows were down there.))

Galvin chuckled to himself. "Such assumptions. Just because I have a staff and I call for a Master means that I'm a mage?" The mage took Mythril Rod and twirled it in his hand, allowing the caramel light to sparkle of the blue sheen of his staff. It was something he had tried out when he first got his staff from Orcion. He enjoyed the way it shined across his staff's clear, blue orb and made a nearly extravagant light show.
"Either way, you're right about my uses of Magic. By the way, I've lived a life of somewhat solitude. I have no idea who you are. Well, at least not until now, that is."

"Assumptions or not, I was still right," Seifer replied, smirking. "But no one's going to believe you live in town dressed like that. I'd recommend picking up something less conspicuous before everyone mistakes you for a newcomer. Since you say you're a recluse, what brings you out of your cave? I might be able to help."

Galvin was starting to like this kid's attitude. It reminded him of his younger years when he was cocky. The mage shook his head at the new clothes idea. "I'm sorry, but the clothes have to stay. As an Apprentice Mage, I'm required to wear this for my trainng." Galvin tugged at the collar of his shirt, proud of his set of attire.
"I'm here because of my new quest. I'm finding my Master Mage, Orcion. He's supposed to be traveling to find a very important item."

"If he was here, chances are he's gone by now. He either caught a ship off world or moved off to somewhere else," Seifer answered, shrugging. May as well. "You should check by the train station; if your master mage took a train to somewhere else in town, the stationmaster probably saw him heading off. The station's the building inside the clock tower up the road, stationmaster's the guy in the funny hat. Hope that helps; good luck picking up the trail."
