There have been many posters hanging up throughout the town and near the Olympus Coliseum; they are wanted posters for a thief. This isn't any normal thief you see, he has stolen Zeus' lightening bolt and the god wants it back. Plus, there would most likely be mayhem and turmoil if the bolt got into the wrong hands. The posters have a reward on them along with a picture of what the thief may look like. They say he is highly dangerous and wants to give the bolt to Hades himself, which would be a terrible thing.
No one knows how long ago the bolt was stolen but rumors have been flying around and there seems to loom a darkness in the clouds themselves. It seems a darkness or gloom has settled upon the sky above, perhaps it is because Zeus is mad. Alas, there seems to be something stirring in the sky above where the great gods and goddesses are. Arguments perhaps.
However, it seems Hercules isn't here to help save the day. Who will step up and perhaps be deemed a Hero?

Malthus examined one of the posters with interest. "This promises to be entertaining." He murmured with a grin. "And it's a good start for me to start doing good things..." The shadow of the Malthus-that-was still hung over him often.
Admittedly, he wasn't uninterested in the reward, but the black-haired 18-year old was trying to focus on the act itself. "I should get Ari in on this." He exclaimed, snapping his fingers.

"... Steal back Zeus' lightning bolt from the person that managed to sneak it out of Olympus," was Ari's response to the poster Malthus had led her to see. "Somehow, that doesn't quite sound like favorable odds of us finding him. But what the heck, I'll help; not like I have anything better to do. So how do you suppose we go about finding someone slippery enough to get in and out of Olympus without being hunted down by the gods?"

"Um..." Malthus thought for a moment. "I, uh, hadn't gotten that far yet." He admitted. "I've got some ideas, but they aren't very good ones... I'm hoping he's here in Thebes, to be honest, but I've got nothing really to base that hope on. And if he is, then I might be able to find him if I look from the rooftops from him. Maybe we'll just get lucky. If we do see him, we can get him, though, I don't doubt that!"

The official appearance of the thief was unknown, so it would be pretty hard to determine who was the thief unless they had the lightning bolt. Which wouldn't be likely for it would be easy to spot them, ya know with a sword like weapon made out of lightning and all. Though, the person himself would probably be wearing something, thief exquisite. And probably very conspicuous. The appearance of the thief on the posters was just a mock up of what the gods and many people in Thebes thought of him to look like. There was also noted that he might actually be hiding in Thebes. It has been said that he might be hiding in a abandoned house in Thebes until night time so that he can sneak out of town. As to why he has stolen the lightning bolt, some think that he wants to give it to the god of the underworld. But, how would he do such a thing when you must die to go to the underworld. However, there is a myth that the re is a ferryman who goes by the name Charon who carries the deceased from this world to the next. Some have said that he pays a heavy price to anyone alive who wants to pass through the underworld. However, this is only Myth.. but perhaps this is what the thief has in mind. No one knows where this ferryman might be, but there are caverns outside of Thebes.
- Either look through one of the abandoned houses or shops near the outskirts of Thebes,
- or ask around.
- or check the caverns and wait for the thief there, if that is really the theif's plan

"Hmmm." Malthus continued tapping his foot, thinking. "You know, I think we should split up." He said, finally coming to a decision. "You know the people better than me. You'd have more luck asking around for anyone that looks like a thief. Meanwhile, I know how to think like a thief." Malthus didn't expand on the reasons behind that out loud, pausing momentarily before continuing forwards. "I can check the places that would be the most likely hideaways for a thief if they're in Thebes."

"Probably better I don't ask the question I just thought of," Yatusatari commented idly. Curious, sure, but she didn't quite care that much. Past was past, stopping some idiot from running around with one of Zeus' bolts was a lot more important. "I guess I'll give it a shot. What, exactly, am I looking for?"
