Malthus appears in the middle of a dome identical to the one he was just in, save for a few things. The first is the distinct lack of a platform in the center, and also the lack of an announcer or his companion. And then, the announcer's voice rings out from around the arena.

"Alright fighters! Your first challenge begins.....NOW!"

With that call, four extremely curious figures appeared across the field from Malthus. The enemies were robotic, three of them mostly light blue with darker blue armor on their arms, legs, head, and chest area. On their head, where their face would be, there was nothing but a red orb, inside a dark blue “helmet.” On one of them, their right hand was replaced by a hollow, white cylinder at the end of a larger blue cylinder with a white rectangular object connected to the top. The other two had the same oddity on their right arm, though the white cylinder wasn't hollow and didn't have the rectangular thing the other did, however, it did crackle and spark with electricity. The fourth was different from the other three in design. It had the same body and armor type as the others, but it's armor was a light blue-green with orange trim while the unarmored part was gray. It's head was different as well, as it was covered by an opaque black shield over the front half and the back was covered in armor colored like the rest. It's hands were brutal looking oversized metal claws, about half a foot long and extremely sharp.

As they turned to look at Malthus, the two blue enemies with electric hands moved forward and attacked from the front with a stab from their right hand. The clawed enemy rushed around the side and came at Malthus from the left, trying to flank him. The last one however, pointed it's arm, and fired a three shot burst of fireballs, which would go between the other two blue ones to hit Malthus in the chest.

"Humph!" Malthus leapt into the air. "Don't think much of me, do you?" The youth asked he began retrieving knives from his clothes and tossing them off four at a time. He did four throws total, for a total of 16 knives, four aimed at each of the strange creatures. With his Ranged Weapon Student, he was hoping to do good amounts of damage to them with his sharp knives.
