Your Decisions Will Decide the Outcome of the Universe

Appearance: Having right red hair, coupled with green eyes that give a snake-like appearance when lowered, gives Matt sort of a unique look. His weight is a bit on the heavy side but his height easily balances that out. During his youth he has been ridiculed about his forehead length yet it seems to not get the attention it once had. As for his clothes, usually he wears short sleeved buttoned down shirts with dark jeans to go with them. As long as his clothes don’t attract too much attention.

Personality:•General Persona: Usually towards strangers he opts to stay silent, not out of shyness, but to observe the person. If the person he’s faced with seems friendly, he opens up, starting conversation and the like. Around his friends he acts carefree, yet still with enough sense to consider all possible situations for his actions. Because of this he is sometimes thought of being over analytical yet there are things and subjects that not even he knows the answers to.
•Inner Thought Process: There’s this yearning to want to fit in, to find someone who is just like him in terms of interests and who can give a challenge. There’s also this drive of wanting to exceed in whatever that he sets his mind to that sometimes consumes him. Even though he will gladly help out those in need, a part of him wishes to be naturally easygoing rather than putting up the façade of being carefree. To live a more human life.
•Fears: He has a fear of heights. Climbing the clock tower was always something he wanted to do yet he could never bring himself to do it as of yet.
•Pleasures: Admitingly he likes to fight, as his constant attendance in the Struggle tournaments, but also studying about different types of martial arts, the weaponry associated with it, and the arcane arts. While it’s something he keeps to himself, he finds peace in free writing, seemingly carrying a pocket notebook wherever he goes.
•Quirks: Sometimes whenever he’s nervous about something he breaks into stutters, while not noticeable at first, it can gradually become an annoyance to him.But With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility
Character Class: Fighter, Tier I

Weapons:
Weapons:
Primary Weapon Name: Vision
Primary Weapon Type: Unarmed
Primary Weapon Description: “The most perfect weapon is one that you live with every day of the year” are the words that Matt's grandfather had told him every single day before training. He usually prefers to fight with his own two hands and legs, even if it isn't the most practical at times. Because he has been training in martial arts since he was six, it has become almost natural to use his body as a weapon. To remind him of his bloodline, he wears a grey wristband bearing the family crest of a dragon on his left wrist. This wristband is considered his Vision, to never give up no matter how much easier it is to pick up a sword rather than use your fists.
Secondary Weapon Name: Enenra
Secondary Weapon Type: Blunt
Secondary Weapon Description: While not a weapon that he would use on a whim, this is Matt’s bokken, a personal product from a year of studying battojutsu. Made from the oak of a tree that grows near the main branch of the Hayorato residence, this wooden sword, while most bokken are brown, has a black texture. Although it can withstand a fight against a real sword, testing it in combat a few times, this is a weapon he sparingly uses. His devotion to hand-to-hand martial arts overshadows being an adept swordsman and he only uses this as a benefit to train his form for Struggle tournaments.

But Your History Decides Your Version of "Responsibility"
History: In the outskirts of Twilight Town, not too far yet distant enough for it to be a walk, lay a small household. This household is in contrast with the rest of the town. While most of the houses in Twilight Town have a brownstone-like appearance, the household seems to be based off of traditional Japanese architecture, complete with sliding doors and a tatami mat on the floor. The proper term for this type of house is a sukiya-zukuri, designed for the sophisticated, the rich, and whoever else may fall under such a category.
However a sight such as this to be near a town where human life is nothing short of normal is a bit out of place. While that would be the case, the household is secluded behind forests, that very few have ever seen it. This is the residence of the Hayorato family.
The Hayorato family, consisting of many branches yet is all categorized under the upper branch and the lower branch, is a family devoted to living life separate from the other citizens of Twilight Town. Decades ago the family was prominent in the town itself as an infamous group, who once tried to overthrow the government. The former head of the family was leader of this group and it would have been successful had he not got murdered by the mayor at the time himself. His son, Kenichi, was the only survivor of the failed coup d’état attempt. Since then he has been forced to leave Twilight Town. Setting up a base in the outskirts of town, he became the head of the Hayorato family up till now, leading into the generation of Kenichi’s only grandson, Matt.
Matt’s childhood wasn’t ordinary per say because of his family’s history, but being born into the upper branch as a result of his blood connection gave the illusion that it wasn’t all bad. Provided that no one in the town, save for a few elders, know about their history, it was more or less a fresh start for Matt. He went to school in Twilight Town, made friends there, and hung out there all of the time, yet the fact that he never lived there technically always made him tense. Just once he wish he could live in the very town that he spent so much time in and he never knew why he lived so far away.
The lifestyle he had at home was as if he lived like a prince, but he grew bored of living like this. When family members insisted on having him wear formal attire, he opt for casual wear, eating with forks than chopsticks, small ticks such as these always made him feel distant from his family. His grandfather, Kenichi, was his only saving grace.
Knowing first-hand what he had put his grandson through, he taught Matt the fundamentals of martial arts, mainly aikido and bajiquan. Having an interest in these arts shifted his focus away from the lifestyle that was forced onto him and encouraged him to read literature. From the classics to historical and even whatever was popular in Twilight Town.
A few months ago, after returning home from his schoolwork, he found a small notebook on the table. The ink in the notebook appeared fresh, so it must have been written a few hours ago. Reading from the notebook, it went into detail about the history of the Hayorato clan and the coup d’état After reading the notebook, and gaining a new understanding of his family name, he began to accept his grandfather’s actions. The only thing was…his grandfather went missing, so was the conclusion that Matt came up with. The handwriting was in Kenichi’s and he couldn’t see him anywhere in the household. It wasn’t unusual for him to not be in the household at times yet there was something unfamiliar about his lack of presence…
