Appearance: Solymer has short spiky copper hair normally concealed by the hood of his robes. His eyes are a very light blue almost grey. He is 6’1 and fairly thin weighting about 150lbs. his skin is pallid and has little acne. His robes are jet black with a red trim.
Personality:
•General Persona: he is a very easy going adolescent with a love for the arcane arts. He rarely tries to put people down and has a good sense of humor.
•Inner Thought Process: his mind is constantly analyzing every aspect of everything, although he often makes mistakes.
•Fears: his biggest fear is growing old, or losing someone close to him. Also being a unsuccessful mage.
•Pleasures: he finds his greatest pleasure in making others happy and successfully casting spells.
•Quirks: he tries too hard to make people happy.

[/blockquote] But Your History Decides Your Version of "Responsibility" [/b][/size][/center][/u] History: Solymer comes from a long line of mages. Each one greater than the last. His parents wanting him to live up to the expectation sent him to live and train under Alastair Divine. He was a powerful wizard that only trained those who showed great ability. So at the age of 7 Solymer was sent to Alastair’s home to begin his training. Alastair trained seven mages at once, one for each basic element. To determine this, he would dip is thumb into magical ink and draw an arch on their forehead. Depending on their Heart’s strength, the color would change to match the element best suited for them. For ice, it would turn blue. For fire, it would change into a deep orange. For Solymer, it changed into a deep purple. Deep Purple only came from the strongest hearts. This was the color of darkness. ------Alastair had us running around the house doing chores. He called it his “special” training. Our task was to do them only using magic. He assigned them based on our element. Tony the fire kid had to go around lighting up candles and tending to the fire place. The wind kid Jayne had to blow leaves out of the yard. As for me I was dying of boredom, Alastair refused to let me do anything. He insisted that I take the day off. So here I was lying on my bed when suddenly I got an idea. Why not try to conjure something, so I summoned a tiny amount of energy and thought of a sprite. Instantly a tiny little fairy like creature appeared. I was filled with excitement as I watched it fly around my room. So why not go bigger? I summoned all the energy I could and thought of a minotaur………………I woke up 3 days later in my bed. Apparently I over did it and passed out. Great. -------The day was finally here. The seven of us made it. 10 years of Alastair’s training. We woke up got dressed in our new mage robes, each specially colored. Mine was jet black with a red trim. The ceremony was fairly short. We each got taught a different spell, our own oak staffs, and best wishes from our former master. Now I would return to Twilight Town as a fully qualified mage.

RANGE Within 30 feet ELEMENT Earth POWER Weak ABILITY NAME Fire ABILITY TYPE Standard ABILITY DESCRIPTION A small burst of fire magic appears at the spellcaster's command, burning a single target before disappearing. RANGE Within 30 feet ELEMENT Fire POWER Weak ABILITY NAME Protect ABILITY TYPE Specialty Technique ABILITY DESCRIPTION The spellcaster creates a weak magic barrier which resists physical damage. RANGE Within 30 feet ELEMENT Darkness POWER Weak ABILITY NAME Magic Rope ABILITY TYPE Standard ABILITY DESCRIPTION The spellcaster causes a length of rope or a similar object to move on its own, even defying gravity briefly. Ok, I'm going to have to ask for several things:
Firstly, appearance, general persona, and inner thoughts all require 5 sentences.
Secondly, even though your history is over the 300 word minimum, it does not strike me as giving us enough real information on your character. I'd also suggest looking at 'Everything You Need To Know About Your World' in the rules; magic is available on Twilight Town but generally wouldn't be well known enough for people to send a bunch of children to a master... not in the town itself, anyways; you might have some luck doing so on one of the islands. More on that in the thread I referred you to.
And I'd like you to mark all of abilities you got from your skill rank; I'm positive you haven't spent all your 1000 credits yet, and I'd like to see how much you have left.
Oh, and you have the right to a free Custom Ability of weak strength; you can use that now or come up with it later.
