A Long and Tedious Journey Awaits Username: kashew Is This Character Canon?:

Your Destiny is to Venture Upon It Name: Chao Zi Zhun Race: Human Age: 28 Gender: Male Homeworld: Land of the Dragon
Your Decisions Will Decide the Outcome of the Universe
Appearance:Standing at 5' 5", Chao has ash brown hair that is tied into a ponytail that goes down the length of his entire spine. He wears an dirt brown over-sized long-sleeved duangua, with matching dirt brown pants. Most of his equipment is inside a square pack he carries on his back, however because of the wok's size he carries it on the outside of his pack. On the outside of his pack as well are some pray beads.
Personality:
•General Persona: Living in a small village for most of his life, he has a semi-sheltered life. The only reason it's not fully sheltered is mostly because of him working with his father at their family restaurant, if you could call it one. If there's something new, he goes to it like a little kid. Another thing he has a tendency to do is that he always cooks something, with the exceptions of sleep, personal business, and bathing.
•Inner Thought Process: He's serious about his cooking, and the business he makes out of it. If someone skips out on a bill he chases them down and makes sure they do pay.
•Fears: His only fear is being robbed, not to be confused with thieves.
•Pleasures: His only pleasure in life is cooking. Cooking a good meal, cooking for people, cooking for himself. And once he's done cooking he loves cleaning his utensils.
•Quirks: Somehow he's had a thing for being open to total strangers. It may be good for a social chief, but in the end it's not really a good thing. If fact because of this open attitude, he's more likely of being robbed. If that happens, he drops to the ground and start crying like a baby. Sad really.
But With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility

[/blockquote] But Your History Decides Your Version of "Responsibility" History: Up in the mountains of the Land of the Dragon, Chao has lived in a village. Simple enough... good life, beside the occasional cold. In his youth his life was set up in two 'jobs', family business and free time. His family runs a little sit and eat place, when he was young he always help getting people's orders, delivering and all the small things a young kid can do. When his father gave him a break or didn't need him, Chao always went to the monk monastery that was near by. He never went into the monastery, he just climbed up the wall and just watched the monks do their routines. Whenever the monks did something he thought was interesting he would go to his favorite spot and try doing whatever it was on his own. In a way a lot of the things he could do did by observation and being self-taught. Now the thief thing may be a little confusing so I suppose a reason is needed. On one of these day, the restaurant was very busy so money was coming in by the boat load. A few thief heard this and well acting like customer waited for the right time to strike. The time was when Chao came to their table to get their order, and well they grabbed and threaten to kill him. Chao more or less was traumatize by this, can't blame him I'd be the same if I saw my life flash before my eyes. Anyways moving forward, several years passed and Chao felt his life needed something new, it came to him in the form of customers. Not the regular kind but people that came from the lower areas, as they sat and ate, they'd talk about things and the latest news. Chao would absorb all of this like rice, until told his parents of his plan. Like any parent, they didn't approval his father lectured him, his mother weeped and he just sat there let this all come at him. When the time was given to him to speak started trying to compromise. The negotiation went long into the night until finally a deal was made... the mother was still upset by the way. The deal was that Chao was allowed to leave, on the promise that any money he made, a portion of it would go to his parents. A few days later Chao was ready to leave, giving his parents a final farewell he left. As he passed the monastery the monks came out to meet him. The elder stepped forward and presented with pray beads, he explained that he was welcome to enter the monastery and that Chao's ancestors were always with him and to remember to pray to them using the pray beads. Chao was very grateful for this gift, and he thanked them graciously for it. With these final farewells Chao left the mountain for his journey.

You seem to be favoring Land of Dragons lately! In a karate kinda RPing mood? ^^
Right so... all I gotta ask about is your Custom Ability's Usage area.
Namely, where did it run off to?

Sorry for the delay-- been kinda swamped! ^^;;
Alrighty, um, quick question again with Xuan Wu again...
Just what makes this an ability? o.o
Isn't that something you could do without an ability? It's sort of a normal attack, just a little more fancy, right?

Changed Xuan Wu up a little bit... You think any one could do that normally. HA I mock those that try.

I'm gonna have to agree with Rocket on this one, even though it's been changed around. I don't recall what the previous one was, but this seems just like a fancy attack, not something that can be considered an ability.
If you change your mind about it, you can just redeem your custom ability later in the updates section of the shop.

All looks mighty fine to me-- I like the monastery in the history, by the way, very nice role models for Chao!-- though I have to double check-- you sure you don't want a Skill Rank just yet?
After we get that cleared up, we can go ahead and get this approved! ^^

As of this moment not really, and for that custom ability... eh, brain fart but I'm sure once I play with character a little bit and get some experience in I'm sure I have something.
