Halloween was coming around quickly and everyone was busy getting ready for this year's fun, except for one.
Within a pumkin patch, a small robed figure moved silently among the pumpkins. The robed figure looked left and right with a pair of faint glowing red eyes. Most wouldn't be able to tell that the figure was swaying as it weaved through the patch. Until it fell to its knees and started leaning against a pumpkin. It started breathing heavily as it's eyes continued to looked left and right for something, and then the head tilted forward slightly.

Jack Skellington was humming to himself as he strode through the gate into the pumpkin patch, having to duck a bit under the arch. Halloween was around the corner... but he was humming a Christmas tune. To be completely honest, he wasn't in a Halloween mood today; it was a Christmas mood. He wished it were otherwise; he knew it must have been irritating to some of the other residents when he felt so obligated to go off and hum tunes and fill his skull with ideas of the coming Christmas. But that was just how it was; he had to try his best to not let it get in the way.
Jack's eye sockets rose up in surprise and his mouth formed into a little circle when he saw someone else in the pumpkin patch. And much worse, that someone else collapsing. The slender skeleton picked up his pace and carried him quite quickly (What was running speed to most people was merely a brisk walking pace for Jack) to whoever it was. He knelt down and gave a worried look to the person-- Oh, a girl. That was terrible! "Are you okay miss? You shouldn't be wandering about if you're not feeling well; the pumpkin patch is no place for a nap this time of year, you know."

Chery wasn't feeling well, but it didn't matter to her. She needed to do this, it... it was tradition, and she couldn't stop. Her forehead was heating up and she was feeling dizzy, but she couldn't let it stop her. She forced herself up and softly shook her head in a motion that would say that she was fine. As she continued further into the pumkin patch looking.

"I'm sorry, ma'am, but it's in your best interest to stop. If you go and get yourself hurt or even sicker, you're going to worry everyone that knows you half to death," Jack said, thin bony fingers closing around the woman's wrist. For a dead guy with no muscles, he had a grip of steel. He was just worried for the well-being of this fellow Halloween Town citizen was all; not like he was trying to hurt her or kidnap her or something. Jack tugged at her wrist lightly to indicate she should come with him.
"Come on now, we wouldn't want anybody mean out there finding you and deciding to take advantage of a sick girl. You show me where your house is, I'll take you back there. Oh, now where are my manners? I'm Jack Skellington, it's wonderful to meet you. Well, wonderful to meet you, but it isn't wonderful that you're sick."

The feel of a boney hand wrapping around her wrist shocked her as she tried to squirm her out and with a... womanly voice demanded that Jack let her go. Turning herself around and instantly appearing as Dark Chery.

"You should already know I'm not going to do that unless you promise to go home. Autumn is on the way, and wandering in the pumpkin patch is no place for a sick girl," Jack replied, his tone stern. He'd scare her into going home if he had to, and he was most certainly capable of doing so if it came down to it. "We're going back to town to get you back into your own house and your own bed, and that's that. Your health is a lot more important than whatever's out here."

Dark Chery tried to struggle but the fact that the Pumkin King had such a grip on her wrist was impressive. Of course forcing her way out of this wasn't going to work, then maybe other means would work. Do I really look like a sick girl to you!? I'm in perfectly good health here, no high temperatur no nothing, you could even feel if you want to! And on top of that I'm a woman! Giving herself a quick lift on her feet then down to all her breast to bounce a little.
Oh... that came out a little forceful, but then again of course it came out forceful she had every right to be there. I was a tradition, the only thing that would make her home more festive.

Jack's skull of a face twisted into a terrifying look, and the rest of his body-- The whole town even-- suddenly took on a look that would give terror to the devil himself. Even Jack's voice was scary enough to send the worst demons running for their lives. "I said you're going home young woman! It's either that or I get a few new bones to add to my own!"
Of course, Jack Skellington would never do something like that to anyone (Well, no one who didn't deserve such a fate), but his scare tactic was to make her go home. And no one was as scary as Jack Skellington when he wanted to be.
[Jack's custom ability is in effect here; it doesn't matter what persona she's in, she's going to need to change underwear when she gets home. You can read it if you want.]

DC would've said something but she ended up fainting in fear of the Pumpkin King's skills. Reverting back to her small child self, most likely the upside was that the 'fever' was gone. The downside was that Jake now had a little unconscious girl hanging off her hand with no idea on where she lived.
((Congrats... you are the first person to 'defeat' Dark Chery and turn Chery back to herself. That's some mad scaring skillz yo have there Shin-kun))
