This is the Moment Username: rocket Is This Character Canon?: Null response, effective zero option presented...
Forward, We March Name: Jack Race: Human-turned-Dog Age: 42 Gender: Male Homeworld: Twilight Town
Your Hand Shapes this Universe
Appearance: Mutt, mixed with mutt, mixed with mutt. An incredibly small ankle-biter of a dog, scruffy patches of white and brown covering the little annoyance. Mismatched ears-- one up straight, one bent down-- head the face of a scruffy and unkempt pup. Pure black eyes-- a given-- and a small snout that encapsulates a row of jagged white pearlies don't so much adorn as they are hastily slapped onto this unarguable mutt. Small, small, tiny legs have to work at double time to keep moving the body at an appropriate pace, hampered further by the overlong tail that, overgrown with hair unkempt, drags behind the dog.
Personality:
General Persona: Mean, foul, and spiteful-- these are but a few of the words those few who know Jack would champion in response to any question asked of the mutt. Though not unknown for his pranks, he is the sort that wouldn't blink at the notion of lying, cheating, manipulating, or abusing another living soul to get at what he most wants-- power. Powerhungry and willing to abuse people and Darkness to get what he wants, he doesn't have a lot of subtelty to him-- he's as boisterous as an ankle-biter can be. Competitive to boot, Jack can never stand to lose at any and every possible competition, seeking more opportunities to rectify the win-loss ratio of his, or simply resorting to revenge in and of itself. A truly mean, vicious dog.
Inner Thought Process: Scared. Scared senseless. Scared out of his mind of a looming presence forever over his shoulder-- death. In his desperation, he seeks to amass as much power as he can in an effort to somehow turn the tides-- rewrite the rules-- and prevent his own, inevitable death. In doing so, he sacrifices any priority for other people, lying and cheating and sneaking his way through their intentions for the hopes of a better tomorrow, and with every lose of any and every game, he is reminded beyond belief of his inferiority-- and what power he yet needs to get his hands-- er, paws, on.
Fears: *cough* Death. Being found out, about his death desperation. Being stepped on.
Pleasures: Outsmarting someone, staying active, and chocolate. Ironically, now a dog, it's best he avoid chocolate altogether.
Quirks: Is allergic to cats.
This Power is Your Responsibility
Character Class: Acrobat, Tier 1 Stats:
Strength: 1
Cunning: 14
Agility: 15
Weapons:
Primary Weapon Name: Canine Canines Primary Weapon Type: Unarmed Primary Weapon Description: Those same white pearlies gleaming lopsidedly in the mutt's mouth make for a good way to get someone to back off.

[/blockquote] But of What Kind? History: Jack was an aging man. He'd been a hard-headed boy, a mean-spirited teen, and now a horrible, horrible man.
It began when his grandmother died.
Boy that he was, he was rightfully traumatized at the sight of his grandmother, laying there in the casket.
That. That was when he decided dying wasn't an option. Not for him, it wasn't.
As a teen, he started purposely building connections with the nerd-types in school. Mostly of the bullying type. It got him through high school, and kept the blood pumping. He felt alive, harrassing the little glasses-wearing freaks for test notes.
It paid off. A young man, the vicious Jack was able to catch wind of what he had been privately yearning for--
The impossible.
One of the nerds was apprenticed to some kinda wizard. He tried to fireball Jack when he was shaking him down for a job, and-- whaddya know.
Magic.
Yes.
It wasn't hard to influence the geekmeister into handing over a few books from the old wizard's library. He noticed they all mentioned a lot about this "dark" stuff--nothing about the fireball nerdy mcNerdnerd had thrown-- but starting to practice with it...
It wasn't hard to see that this was it-- the ultimate power, the way to stop the clock... once and for all.
Jack mooched off little mage wonder for years. Decades. And all the while, growing stronger and more knowledgable with the books on dark magic he'd continued to blaze through.
And then the old wizard found out.
One minute, he'd been passing groceries to old man Jenkins, and the next he was in a massive library, in front of a green-robed old fogie.
It didn't take more'n two seconds to figure out who the old guy was, questioning his morality or whatever about Darkness.
"Look," Jack had said, "Magic and this dark stuff, what's the difference?"
The wizard's eyes were on fire. Literally.
"WRONG answer, Jack! " The wizard's hands gripped Jack by the shoulders from behind. When did he get beh-- And the Jack was a dog. "The Darkness," the wizard had said, taking the mutt to the door, "will now forever be beyond your grasp. Have a nice life, Jack." Jack was an aging dog. Horror struck through every bone in his tiny body, knowing that his life would end before too long. Unless he could get it back. His magic, that Darkness. It took a few years. Experimenting, sheer effort, getting a little too close to one of those Heartless things... but within three years, Jack's hopes began to rekindle. He'd regained the ability to speak. He'd restarted his efforts in taming his Darkness. And his mind, knowing of the little mage boy who'd given him nothing but books on Darkness, was forever backed by the notion of revenge. Jack knows the Darkness only as his sole sight of hope against the worries of time. This doggy body is being slowed down by sheer effort and Darkness, even turning his small, beady black pupils a faint yellow, but Jack knows he can't run from Hades forever. He needs to get stronger. But as a dog...[/blockquote]

Hmmmmm...
I'm reeaaaally tempted to question if you could use teeth as an effective blade with these abilities.
I'm also amused at the image of a dog flinging himself forward, mouth open, for a stab. XP
Not to mention EATING SPELLS without being hurt. Seriously, Rocket?
I have to question the reasonableness of these abilities. Please reply and try to satisfy that.
(Not to mention we're considering if teeth and claws count as bladed or unarmed ANYWAYS.)

I'm meaner than you. XD
I was tempted to give Jack double damage, actually, given the dog circumstances, before I stopped and thought--
Old wizard guy is not mean.
Jack isn't a dog. He's a human-turned-dog.
Though he doesn't know it, he has the capability to live to a ripe old age of 112.
He's got more endurance-- stepping on him won't kill him, for example.
Taking that, and his suspicious dark dabbling into consideration, I think Spellcutter is plausible. Tricky, but plausible.
Regarding bladed weapon abilities/advancements, you're thinking about it the wrong way! It's a bladed weapon, sure, sharp and shiny as could be, but it's certainly used differently. Precision Stab, for example, would be more Jack politely, innocent as the cute widdle puppy dog as he is, strolling behind someone, pretending to sniff their shoe while actually looking for which tendon to rip to shreds, and then chomp-- stabbed in the tendon. FATALI--. er, PRECISION STAB!
It's a bladed weapon, but it'll be used pretty darn unorthodoxically used.

...We need to decide whether teeth and claws count as bladed or unarmed given the restriction and meaning of unarmed before we can work this out, because I'd think of them as unarmed.
So... TO THE STAFF BOARD (SO THAT WE CAN DISCUSS IT).

Edited, Bossman! Made quite a few edits-- Skill Point allocation has gotten some changing, added different abilities, and changed one of the Custom Abilities! Totaly credit count should still be 915, though!

Hmmm...
Given your edits, this is fine then.
Just a note that anything Touch of Darkness is used on can't have other advancements or the mystic spells affect it, since the element is no longer what it originally was. A Dark Fire couldn't burn people, for example.
Accepted, Locked, and Moved.
