[avatar]http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk1/IceDragonRoar/Avatars/BlazBlue/Jin/0006ghbb.jpg[/avatar] It was a normal day in the Garden of Radiance as people went about their business. Reconstruction of the town was still being done in certain spots, but for the most point everything returned to normal. The Storm had moved on elsewhere, taking the Anomaly with it. The Sun shined brightly over as the afternoon went on. There wasn't anything interesting to look-wait, what was that guy doing?
A young man in a featherless black fedora and a black suit with a white dress shirt showing underneath was doing a weird walk. He was walking, but he was doing so backwards in such a weird fashion that his feet never stopped touching the pavement. Rather he was sliding backwards. [Author's Note: He's moonwalking.] His fedora was tilted downward to cover his face as his right hand rested upon it. This move earned him a couple of weird glances. He however did not stop, nor did it seem like he was paying attention.

Big Ben was patrolling.
This wasn't strictly necessary but if the Storm had taught Big Ben anything it was that with any power came some responsibility. No one would let him help with the reconstruction efforts so he was here to make sure that everything would go absolutely smoothly.
Man, this mask was itchy.
Scratching his nose, he stood in the shadows, ready to pounce on anyone who so much looked at the construction workers funny. He was getting a lot of odd stares himself but that was alright, he could take the heat. He was, after all, Big Ben - superhero in the making! All he lacked was an origin story but hey, as far as he was concerned that was alright. The parents of superheroes, for some reason, always seemed to be dying left right and center. His were fine where they were.
All he needed now was some evil-doing.
Yup.
Any second now.
Annnny second.

Sadly...evil-doers in Radiant Garden were...smart. Yes, within the strong light of this world, there was a shadow...they did not exist. They were a secret, though few knew their name. One of the few, was traveling along the rooftops, attempting to be unseen, unheard, a shadow. Completely unfitting for a Princess of Heart, but that was neither here nor there. Yes the red head was here, but she was in the background. Our story is not about heroines...it is about...
Magic. _________________________________________
A steady clap could be heard a short distance from the dancing fedora clad man. There was but a sole bench on the street, it was now occupied by an individual. Completely clad in a black robe, the figure had a widely brimmed hood up. It shadowed their visage, effectively erasing any clues to their identity. Oh but these weren't those fangled cloaks from an Organization which doesn't exist in this universe. These were just the drawls of skilled mages; their goal? Well, in order to grow a secret organization...you needed members.
"Bravo, the King of Dance has just surfaced upon the Garden. Long live the King." the voice was so monotone, so...well there was no identifying gender from this being just yet. Goodness, were they even human? Oh and what of that...wannabe with the mask? Well it just so happened that another cloaked figure was hovering over their shoulder. A distinct ball coming from their head was effictively covered black as well. Though judging from their size, they certainly weren't human but boy how stealthy they were. Why, the little figure could probably have commited heinous crimes and this..."hero" would never have known. Nor did he notice the dancing man and his audience. Strange world, huh?

[avatar]http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk1/IceDragonRoar/Avatars/BlazBlue/Jin/0006ghbb.jpg[/avatar] The man continued on only to then hear a voice. A voice so monotone he could not tell anything from it but the words. He had never heard such a person speak in such a way. How...mysterious. He performed a quick yet fancy turn around to get a better view. He was the only one dancing within the vicinity, so the voice had to be refering to him. Despite him not knowing what to expect of the person's appearance, he was rather surprised to see someone in such attire within Radiant Garden. A person hiding under a cloak? Even more mysterious. "Why hello there, I failed to realize anyone was watching. But oh I do love to dance either way. Please, I am just a normal man dancing." His voice was formal yet humble as he adjusted his hat. This young man was Yukimura Yoshino, a very abnormal man with an interest in dancing, travelling, and magic. Despite the weird attire of the figure he addressed it in a manner such as if he was talking to a regular citizen. With one hand he removed the fedora and bowed with it against his chest. "Is there anything else you may wish to say? It seems that you want to chat with me." For now the lurking masked hero was not of a concern for Yuki.

Ah-ha!
His patience had been rewarded! Look, there, someone who walked so strangely could surely be his first villain!
...damn. That was a nice hat.
Wait! No! Villain senses tingling!
Carefully reaching into his utility belt (which, sadly enough, resembled ziplock bags tied to a rather normal belt since his allowance wouldn't get him anything more useful and he was not wearing the stupid fanny pack) he took out his villain detector.
"Is that a villain?" He asked, shaking the eight ball vigorously.
He waited for the results to appear.
Hmmmm. Villain was now speaking to robed man. Or woman.
Ding - ding - ding!
Big Ben eagerly gazed upon the results of his augury.
Results hazy, try again later. In the meantime, we thank you for purchasing McGarden's Happy Meals! Our daily special today is-
Drat. This was the problem with getting your equipment as a freebie. Well, results hazy, huh? That meant he needed to watch. Perhaps, since was a hero in the making, this was a villain in the making!
...nah. What were the odds?
Oooh, slick. Putting away the eight-ball, Ben watched as Villainous Suspect Prime bowed and did the hat-to-chest and everything. Maybe he was into some sort of conspiracy that involved the higher reaches of Radiant Garden's nobility! Why, this could involve the KING himself! Settling down to watch, Big Ben conspicuously scuttled forwards, drawing a lot more himself by moving ten feet than he would have normally managed crashing his skateboard into the local pond.

"Just how late can I be..." Everything was magical, everything occured in a flash. The Princess was late to the party and STILL didn't have everything she needed in order to pass through the portal to the other world. However, she couldn't afford to be stopped by civilians or get caught up in the usual affairs of people on their usual strolls but that's exactly what happened. Peering from a rooftop, she saw a man dancing for..."I don't believe it, not them!" Kairi bemoaned in her thoughts. She recognized that cloak anywhere after her little housecall with Aerith (and Cloud).
"Radiant Magica Circle...what in the world are they up to this time. Guess I'll try and be discrete--" Her eyes then caught sight of someone watching the two, with a weird mask and an eight ball? Oh...it was just a toy, but why would anyone hold onto one so seriously. Shaking her head, she observed the scene playing out, this time it didn't involving kidnapping. No doubt cause for a sigh of relief, if she was aiming to be caught. To think she'd have to try and imitate Yuffie.
"Just maybe...I can foil their plans or at least get some more information. They do have nice cloaks though..." she could have smacked her forehead for that one, instead she observed. ___________________________________________________
The kid was clueless, really clueless. His patience had long been rewarded, a villain practically lurked behind him but he was no hero. He was just playing it, he even had a toy ball which gave him false leads. The creature practically tilted their head in confusion. Though their primary job was to keep tabs on the one whom was being sweet talked in the distance. ________________________________________________________________
"A normal dancing man with an affinity for magic." The monotone voice responded just after being questioned if there was anything they wished to say. No sooner did they stand up and seemingly curtseyed. This mysterious persona was up to something but there was nothing sinister...
"I sense you're quite capable in this ancient art. Perhaps you would like to excel further?"
They slowy walked over to the left side of Yuki. They gestured to speak but had to turn to the rooftops in the distance. Seemingly, they were distracted but no sooner did the monotone speech resume.
"I came here to invite you to something magical." Of course, that's how it all began, in fact...had they not screwed up the other day, there name may or may not be tainted. Not like they heard the full details, just the blundering of a junior. Regardless, this person was no junior. They were seasoned and well mannered, charming to a fault...if not for the monotone voice or was that even real?
"This is truly the oppertunity of a life time." if he listened closely, Yukimura would be able to hear a giggle.

The first statement alerted Yukimura immediately. "With an affinity for magic". This mysterious person knew of his capabilities in magic. His eyes kept his sights on the hooded figure as they continued to speak. He moved up from his bow position and placed the fedora back on his head where it belonged. A smile grew across the young man's face. "Well then, what is it that tipped you off?" He knew very well that sticking out of his front pant pocket was a black wand with green highlights. It sat there for its owner was not undergoing one of his practice sessions at the moment. The man has researched as much as he could but only knew a few spells. He had wishes to expand his knowledge of magic so that he could go along with his plans. He paid attention and when it was time for him to respond he did so. "Hm...I do indeed have quite an interest in learning more on magic. I have desires to excel in the ancient art. What is it that you're inviting me to exactly?" His speech though polite and formal clearly displayed a tone of eagerness. He heard the faint sound of a splash and glanced over to see someone had foolishly crashed into the pond. He chuckled a bit and reverted his attention back to the figure. He failed to notice another individual lurking about. Yukimura felt rather weird though, like as if he was being watched from afar. As it so turned out, Big Ben didn't notice the villain that was ambling over his shoulder.
What he did notice was someone tossing down a lit cigarette and then crushing it under the heel of their shoe.
For a moment, the hero considered just leaving it alone. That was so... that was so petty. Who had ever heard of heroes like Tighten and Hercule fight littering? Well, true, but he couldn't fly and wasn't the strongest man in the world. That meant he had to start somewhere.
Man. This heroing business was harder than he thought. Not an hour in and he already had had his first moral dilemma.
Leaping out of hiding he pointed a finger in the direction of the evil-doer.
"You sir!" He yelled. "Have just left your butt on the ground!"
There was an excellent moment of utter.
Dead.
Silence.
Ben kept his pointer finger ready and tried not to cave into the sudden influx of pressure as people started giggling.
He also kept a weather eye on Mr. Funny-walker there. He was onto him. Definitely.

OOC: Muse was just...killing me but here's my efforts to twart the vile thing. IC: "I'll wait, my home world needs me!" Kairi decided that keeping tabs on RMC was far more important in this current moment than heading towards that portal. Her actions were swift as she ambled down from the rooftops and attempted to sneak up on the suspicious group. In her case, she moved in the shadows of the buildings, keeping behind the smoker. When she noted the cig on the ground, even she pouted but she couldn't quite give away her identity here, so she'd need to cause a distraction!
Between the would-be hero and the suspect, a burst of light would occur. This would allow her to sneak around not just these two people but the lurking figure behind Big Ben. "Really, what's with the mask?" Kairi mused as she did so. Her new position would then be behind a bench, peering out just slightly as she looked towards the dancing man and his acquaintance. __________________________________________
Ridiculous burst of light, the suspicious figure watching Big Ben was now on their toes, looking around for the culprit, sadly they gave their location away with an "Aaah kupo!" ___________________________________________
So, what gave it away? The mysterious figure seemed to have their gaze concentrated on the want poking out of the front pocket, though that wasn't really the true cause. One could say RMC had a "sense" for magic.
"I wonder? Well it matters not the means but the ends, wouldn't you agree?"
The figure then pulled out an envelope with a strange insignia as the seal.
"Take this and come to one of our meetings. We'll vastly improve your skills, as well as open your eyes to the true secrets of this world."

[avatar]http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk1/IceDragonRoar/Avatars/BlazBlue/Jin/0006ghbb.jpg[/avatar] Yukimura followed the glance. So it was the wand, huh? The stranger must've had good eyes to spot the wand from a distance. But that wouldn't be able to prove that he could use it. At the same time it would be rather silly carrying a wand if he couldn't. It would just be a useless stick. The young man kept his attention on his newfound acquaintance. He still had that watched feeling. "Why then I'll do so. When and where's the next meeting?" A gentleman-like smile sat upon his face. His hand took the envelope and the man's eyes examined it as he listened for a response. Still Yuki had not figured out that there were people watching due to the suspiciousness of the situation, but he did feel like eyes were glazing upon him and it wasn't just this mysterious figure here.
