Seriously why do people do this? There's no point to it, you're just making it worse for people. I mean the reason you need to do is if it REQUIRES IT!!
And I don't mean 'Oh we need to to keep the fan base up.' No! No nononononononono, stop right there... and think. If you're going off of something that is/was cool, don't make it worse make it freaking better.
