Appearance: Darnas appears, on the outside, to be extremely old and decrepit. He wears loose clothing around his body that is very similar to a white robe with a tan belt tied around his waist keeping it on. Darnas is mostly bald, with some thin wisps of white hair, and a white mustache and beard, with the beard about four inches long. He is usually seen bent over on an elaborate cane, standing at about a little under five feet. This cane is black, capped with a golden metal on the bottom and the top, the top cap shaped like a curled up dragon.
Personality:•General Persona: Darnas, on the surface, acts relatively stereotypical. He has a shaky voice, often asks for help for one reason or another, and is very polite. He's wise and knowledgeable, of course, and is willing to share anything he knows with those who ask politely... AND is willing to share his opinion with anyone, whether they want him to or not! When he sets on a course of action, you'd have better luck damming a river with a toothpick than changing his mind, often running right over anyone else's opinion in the process. Ultimately, though, he's got good intentions, and will try to help people (or help them help themselves).
•Inner Thought Process: There aren't very many differences between how Darnas acts and who Darnas is. He isn't ashamed of himself and honestly tries not to hide anything about himself. There are a few secrets he keeps, though, and if he makes a friend that's younger than him he'll refuse to let them die before he does to the point where he could even sacrifice himself for them. He doesn't like anyone to try and insinuate he can't do something because of his age. He's also always on the lookout for anything new to try or learn.

Primary Weapon Description: An elaborate black cane with golden caps on both ends, the handle shaped like a curled-up dragon. It is, of course, slightly thicker at the top than at the bottom, and made of a hard black wood. It is about four feet long.
Secondary Weapon Name: Ragnarok
Secondary Weapon Type: Bladed
Secondary Weapon Description: When necessary, Darnas will stand up straight and discard part of his cane, most of the wood simply sliding off after he twists the dragon. Revealed is a thin, shining blade, and left of the cane is simply enough of the wood to grasp as a handle and the dragon, shining golden as the pommel. Some strange mechanism in the cane makes the dragon's head come up and open wide its mouth, as if it is waking up.

But Your History Decides Your Version of "Responsibility"
[/b][/size][/center][/u]History: Darnas was born quite a long time ago, back when Radiant Garden was still a monarchy. He was raised by his father alone, as his mother had died in childbirth. When he was but 5, his father began training him, attempting to teach him flexibility and strength at a young age before he had picked up any bad habits. When he was 10, his father began training him with a wooden practice sword. Finally, when he hit fifteen, his father began training him with a short sword. Darnas soon collected a large number of scars from the constant training, but he was in extremely good shape.
At eighteen, his father sent him to an academy that existed in those days specifically to train people how to fight. Darnas was very good at it. Five years later, he graduated from the academy and soon joined the Royal Guard. Unfortunately, several years later, the old King died and a new one rose to the throne. This king was extremely paranoid and immediately disbanded the current Royal Guard and forming a new one. Darnas and his friends, needless to say, were not very happy about this.
Years later, the people were groaning under the weight of the current ruler, and rebellion was forming. Darnas, chafing under the heavy taxes and the loss of his former job, threw himself into the rebellion along with his friends and previous comrades. His father had died without a penny to his name due to the king's rule, and Darnas was fired up and ready to take down the cruel monarch.
Unfortunately, this rebellion failed, and Darnas lost almost all of his friends at this time. He blamed himself, going into seclusion and fortunately avoiding being recognized and brought in for justice. It wasn't until Ansem the Wise and a well-timed rebellion shifted the type of government that Darnas would return to Radiant Garden, far older, and bearing a special sword-cane that he'd obtained in his absence.
