[hp=92/92] Red tiles went flying as Akilah slammed her boots into the roof.
"ATTENTION!"
Eyes turned upwards in the Borough plaza, for the woman standing strong and tall on the roof just before the plaza fountain. She was looking down toughly at the throng of people here, enduring the midday heat for a daily dose of conversation and fun.
She was strange. One glance could tell you that, with the kerskuffled hairdo that looks like a four-year-old went at it with murderous intent and the well worn coat flapping in the wind, she wasn't of the casual sort.
Her yellow eyes, strong and harsh at the moment, seemed all the more eerie as the words left her lips and the scroll of paper in her hands loosed itself and fell open--
Revealing a picture. " Draconas, formerly Orlock, is the primary suspect in multiple incidents-- all resulting in death. He is considered dangerous and to be avoided if at all possible." Her upper lip twitched upwards. "Word is he's been seen around here lately-- if anyone has seen this boy recently, please speak up now"[/blockquote]

(For now) [hp=20/20] A lone hand raised above the crowd. The hand was wearing a glove, white glove with green stitch-work, and the body attached to the hand was wearing dark green robes. "Yeah, I think I've seen him around. Does he look like this?" He pulled his hood down and pointed to his face, a wide grin stretching it.
"I don't know where you have been getting your information, miss, but it is extremely false. I have not caused death to so much as a fly." The overexaggeration was apparent, but it was nearly true in its base form. He had not caused death in multiple incidents--just one. And that one was so long ago, it was highly unlikely anyone remembered.
The cocksure grin on his face never faltered. Draconas was fairly certain there was no way to trace it back to him, and he could twist the truth better than anyone else in Radiant Garden. He was master of words and magic, and there was very few who surpassed him in magic as well. He was a magician, through and through, and his audience was before him. All he had to do was entertain her for a while, and then he could make his escape.
Or so he thought.

[hp=90/92] The woman whistled unappreciatively as the crowd awkwardly shuffled away from what was clearly not going to end well.
Without moving her eyes from where they were focusing on Draconas, Akilah rolled the parchment up, placed in within the folds of her coat, and assumed an almost lacksadaisical stance-- with her arms hidden beneath the draping coat, and her unwavering eyes, and her lopsided shoulders, the brown haired woman seemed... uninterested in what Draconas had to say.
She waited.
The crowd finished taking their leave. They headed off to parts better known. With her luck, one of them was going to have the sense to inform Squall of the whole shebang. Could get messy...
But now the silence was deafening.
Cue one smirk for Miss Aultman.
"...boy," she shouted in kind, "I am not here to argue with you.
"You're a suspect," she shrugged. "I'm here to take you-- kickin', screamin', or not-- to someone who'll..."
The strange woman paused. She seemed to faulter, her yellow eyes quickly taking a moment to blink, look aside... and return.
"Well!," she shouted, "you don't really need to know about all that, now do you?"
And, being her, Akilah didn't give Draconas much of an option for a response. Beneath the folds of her cloak, something shifted and--- woah!
Tugging at Draconas' legs-- vines, foliage of no particular origin, were spiralling up and gripping at his pants like there was no tomorrow.
He was entangled . By magical means. " Heuup!" Tupt. One dramatic leap later, Akilah Aultman was picking herself up off the street's macadam. Maybe a little dustier for the effort, maybe a little winded. Mneh. Not important.[/blockquote] Recap: Used Weak Magical Ability Entangle, jumped from roof to street level (which hurt and I choose to let it deal me off 2 HP).

[hp=20/20] The mage of darkness looked down. Those vines would slow him down, but at least he knew now that she was a mage, so he was a bit more prepared than before. Kind of. But still, despite the vines and such, he was in a good position.
Although, it was NOT encouraging to see the accuser fall from that height and seemingly be uninjured. That was crazy talk. Of course, Draconas was a mage of darkness. He was used to crazy talk. He spoke it fluently, in fact, and it was one of very few languages he spoke as well as his native tongue.
"Why are you doing this? I already told you, I'm not the one you are looking for. I don't kill people or burn down buildings for fun. You're looking for some teenage vandal, not me." Realizing the fact that he could be considered a teenage vandal by some, Draconas but on a sheepish grin. "Well, er, you know what I mean.
"Whoever it was that did whatever it was you were talking about is not me. I would be, however, willing to cooperate and help you find this person." Draconas nodded to himself. There was not many who would volunteer to help some random officer of the law, or so he assumed, but if she knew magic, likely she knew more than that simple cantrip.
And depending on how much she knew, she might make a very good ally. Yes, a very good ally indeed... So, Draconas attempted to dissuade her, to persuade her to search elsewhere, and to offer his own services. Because, that way, she could keep an eye on him. Plus, how many would turn down free help?

[hp=90/92] turn down free help! Now, by the forceful and unwavering gait with which Akilah strode forward, a certain mischevious purpose ridden in the wafting aura of her hair flapping in the wind around her golden eyes, and the rimrodstraight no-nonsense look she was giving the fast talking excuse for a teenager, you might think she wasn't gonna take any loads of crap. And as the air wavered aroudn her, reality scarring the transparent air between the small distance from Akilah and her target... you might just realize you'd be right. Because just as Akilah was seven or so feet away from lil' ol' Draconas, a second woman thundered through the air for the boy, intent to capture on her mind. And oddly enough, the woman moving to tackle the boy looked just like the very same Akilah Aultman-- who so happened to raise her hands in a more-dramatic-than-needed fashion... raising a grey haze from the ground in a near instance. What.[/ul] Action Recap: Akilah has thrown her Clone spell into the mix-- and that clone means business! It's going to try and pin Draconas to the ground. All the while, Akilah's raised an interesting Silence spell...

Insufferable woman. When will she give up? Diving to the side, Draconas rolled...or, rather, kind of bounced off of the ground. Now, that woman was being insufferable. Standing back up, he began to stalk away, as he was entangled and couldn't move much faster without tripping, moving as far from that cloud as he could. If it was magical in nature, regardless of whether he had seen it before or not, he knew he should definitely avoid it.
"Why are you so intent on my capture?" the boy asked the woman, confusion genuine on his face. Draconas really did not know why the woman was so intent on capturing him, and he could not for the life of him think of a reason.
Of course, he probably could have if he tried, but Draconas was concentrating more heavily on the task at hand: escaping this bounty hunter. If such she was, and he assumed so. Most of the guards he had seen did not go anywhere near magic, if they even knew it existed. Sighing, the boy went back to escape, and hopefully he would make sure to get this woman on his side. If not, she would have to die, which would be such a waste of potential. [hp=20/20]

[hp=90/92] hard to avoid her this time, with this proximity, with her under the effects of a Haste spell... Akilah Prime, on the other hand, had her hands moving once more in the gusting waves of the black and hazy mist that had presumedly done it's job well. As there was nothing she could discern showing otherwise, it seemed as though the delinquent had remained in the haze long enough for Silence to activate. This should mean his magic is disabled for no small amount of time, assuming he has any as a lovely piece of heresay picked up from around town had told her... Things seemed to be taking a more dramatic turn by the looks of it.[/ul] Action Recap: Since you didn't say you got outta the cloud, I'm assuming you're now Silenced! There goes magic for the next seven turns... Akilah the Clone is Haste'd into double speed-- and is really close to Draconas-- so a liiittle more justification for avoiding a grown woman trying to mow down a teenage boy at ultra high speed might be called for. Meanwhile, Akilah Prime has activated a Wind spell. It wasn't clear in the post, which is why I'm saying it now... xD

[Due to a discussion we had, Draconas shall not be silenced after all] The dark mage turned to look at the woman approaching him. Aaaaaaaaaaaaand...crap, he couldn't see a way out of this one. Noticing the vines were gone, and actually had been gone for a time now, Draconas nearly facepalmed. Of course, he did not, as it would have been irrational and stupid. But, he did manage to tip himself over.
So, just as the clone approached him, he fell onto the ground, effectively avoiding any harm that might have befallen him from the speeding bullet of a being. And if that insufferable woman tried to grab him, he would not hesitate to smack her around a little. Okay, he was quite afraid, but she didn't need to know that, now did she?
"Can you just stop already? I'm not your damned suspect," the boy grumbled, folding his arms. If he had, then wouldn't he have fought back by now? Any normal criminal would fight back when pressed. But an innocent never did, even when under threat of death...okay, maybe under threat of death, but in this circumstance, it fit. Or so the boy hoped. His facade was convincing enough to convince his own mother, or it would if he had ever been close to her. [hp=20/20]

[hp=90/92] went cold, hard steel against the stone just beside the mage-boy's head. The look in the woman's eyes as she was down and leaning against the two-and-a-half foot sword was determined and intelligent-- that was no miss. It was purposely aimed for the side like that... well, and-- "Boy, have you got it wrong." she said with a strong aura about her. " I'm not the one you need to convince." she whispered, mocking him all the while with a slight toss of her head in a pitying motion. What she said seemed to match her actions thus far... she had no interest in whether or not he was actually guilty-- she just had to "take him in", whatever that meant. Which means convincing her of guiltiness or lack thereof is... pointless. Aaaaand then the blade started up an awfully creepy Dark Aura, which was pretty frightening in it's own right. Because then it slid sideways for his head--[/ul] Action Recap: I've decided-- I like clones. :3 Ah, sorry, got off topic there. OKAY SO, remember that Draconas got hit by Wind in the last round? So his speed is down here. Short on time, so Akilah Prime is just sitting back, watching the stuff unfold, maybe eating popcorn... I dunno. xD And Akilah the Clone is going for the sword option this time around-- with Dark Aura added to the mix. Veeeeeeeeeeeeery close range-- and with the 2/3 speed, dodging this one might take a bit of thought.

Draconas rolled hard to the side, pointing his glove behind him at the woman, or the clone, or whichever was attacking him. Four balls of dark energy burst from the thing, flying towards her and hopefully either hitting her or backing her up. Or both. In fact, both would be appreciated. Pointing his other hand at the other, he cast a Dark Burst, the dark energies hopefully doing enough damage to the both that he could make a quick escape.
"Would you quit it already? I don't want to have to do any more damage than necessary to get away." He was being rather considerate, he thought, having given her more than enough time to get away from him and off elsewhere. Despite the fact that he really didn't like hurting girls, Draconas could abandon his slight bit of morals if his life was in danger. And in this case, he felt as if it was. Regardless of whether she would kill him or just 'take him in', as she said, Draconas was threatened. And he was going to destroy the threat. [hp=20/20]

[hp=86/92] spat the woman as the minibarrage of four magical bullets slammed into her. The clone got a face full of Dark Burst meanwhile, and it seemed to recover all very well enough. The woman-- the real Aultman who had been beside the boy-- grimaced. The boy intended to make a run for it. He'd probably go into hiding or something. That would be rather annoying to her paycheck for this little shindig. She clapped her hands together, creating a small spark of unknown energy in the process. " Tell ya what," she shouted, " I'll let you decide--
" Do you want to keep on fighting?" she asked amiably enough. But before Draconas would have a chance to reply, that unknown spark from before began to take effect. And the clone, grinning madly, pulled out her sword Coruscation, charging for the boy and making no secret about it. Hmmm...[/ul] Action Recap: Akilah just cast Berserk on ya. Berserk makes ya go into a battle frenzy. Zero rational running away thoughts present in those with an absolute battle frenzy-- no running away from this one! XP

Draconas knew something wasn't right. He spoke the words, "No, I really would not like to keep fighting," but it came out something more like, "Grr, grr grr GRAAAAAAAAAA!" He had no idea why, but, all of a sudden, he wanted nothing more than her blood all over him. Losing all semblance of decency and just letting go in general, the dark mage took a swing at the woman behind him who had spoken, and then, immediately, charging at the clone.
"GrrRRRrrAAAAAAAAA!" he cried, not knowing what it was he was doing. Of course, by this time, Draconas had temporarily ceased to exist as Draconas, but instead was a more primitive form of himself. Of course, this was both good and bad, because the more primitive form of him knew to keep him safe, while at the same time trying to destroy the clone. Punching at the clone with his gloved arm, darkness flared around it, showing the darkness that was bonded to the weapon, darkness he hadn't even needed to summon.
[Limiting myself to physical attacks for three posts...grah. xD]

The clone took the damage-- for what was the harm in a harmed clone?-- and immediately retaliated by turning her cloak inside out.
What?
Oh.
Her cloak was made entirely of pockets. By taking the coat from her shoulders and amiably giving it a flick, it sent the whole of the contents to the...
ground...
Thirty fair-sized explosives fell to the ground.
Each detonating in an explosion of fire, explosion, pain, and darkness-- the same raging Aura that Draconas utilized.
Each would deal four damage, if hit.
And at that close range...
And given Draconas was obligated to attack at every cost... [ Despite the massive attack overload, the clone's only taken one action here-- flicking the cloak. WHOO! I'm not interesting in murdering today, though! You can argue however many you please are duds, sending out confetti instead, as you please! ^^ ]

[hp=4/20] Luckily, most were duds. Only four struck Draconas and burst into explosions of pain. It was horrible, horrible pain, but, regardless, he kept struggling onward.
"GRAAAH!" came the shout from his lips as he swung his gauntleted arm at his foe's clone, swinging wildly without even bothering to get up. He couldn't comprehend logic at this point; no, he was beyond that.
Draconas was just fighting out of sheer rage now.
