[ Go for it! :3 ] The man shook his head appreciatively at Cloud's fast retort.
"You and I seem to think alike, friend," the cloaked man said. "But that pouch you picked up off the street is rightfully mine.
"Last chance, boy." He said, finality ringing in his voice like the doom bell itself. "Return the munny pouch. I'm kind of in a hurry, you know, and I don't want anybody to get hurt."

"Except for two things," Cloud said, not sounding any more emotional than before. His voice was its usual subdued, calm monotone. "first of those bein' the obvious fact that you couldn't have seen me pick it up anyhow. Second of 'em bein' that I was asked to deliver it to someone. Sorry, but I like my hundred-percent approval rating for my job," He finished, keeping the Buster Sword at his side and not yet taking a fighting stance. If the man wanted to keep it up, fine, but that clone... whatever had used its last breath to ask him to find someone, and that pouch was his only clue to who it might be. He didn't intend on just giving it up. "And for the record, imitatin' me doesn't work if you don't use the accent."

The mysterious individual nodded at Cloud's words.
"Be that as it may," he replied, sending a Fireball at Cloud.

Cloud raised the Buster Sword so that its thick side was was facing the fireball, preventing it from reaching its mark. In retaliation, he cast Thunder and Ice, charging forward and swinging upwards with the massive sword's front tip, bringing it back down again in an angle before making a quick jump backwards, his sword ready. He was going to try to use the Buster Sword's length to distance himself from his opponent. "Sorry about this." [Recap: Fire x Ice x Attack (Blunt) x Attack (blunt) Blunt Weapon Student] [hp=36/36]

The hooded man amiably took the Fire and Ice spells, and the associated 4 damage, without a care in the world.
Then Cloud rushed.
The hooded man replied in kind, twisting his body backwards to avoid the upwards swing. The sidelong angle of the downwards blow caught him off guard, however, and knocked him back as Cloud jumped away from the attacker.
The hooded man didn't stay down for long at all. In polite mirror to Cloud, the man launched forward, jabbing away with the base of his palm, intending to knock Cloud backwards and into the shop window-- perhaps knocking him out, leaving the munny pouch back up for grabs.
"I should hope you are sorry," the man retorted. "Stealing other people's possessions."

"I'm just the delivery guy; take it up with the sender," Cloud replied, dodge rolling out of the way and sending three strikes with the blunt side of the sword at the man, making another jump backwards to stay out of direct range. Was it that guy's bag? Who knew; he was just the delivery guy. It wasn't really his problem if it'd been stolen or not; if it had been, then they'd have to get it from whoever he was delivering it to. "Wait a moment," the man said.
The man slammed his arm into the first of Cloud's incoming attacks, taking double the damage from the attack but dashing in with the handmade opportunity. Given the size of the Buster Sword, it was a wonder the man's arm wasn't broken. Sliding low, in an attempt to surprise, the man unleashed two rapid kicks for Cloud. [ The kicks deal 4 damage per, if hit. ]
"You... don't know who this sender is, do you?" the man asked, urgently.

"If it's yours, describe it then," Cloud said, surprised the man's arm didn't shatter upon hitting the Buster Sword at full force. He wasn't quite able to recover from the sudden break in momentum quickly enough to avoid the first of the kicks, but quickly dodged out of the way and retaliated with three more swings of the blunt side of the sword. This would be eventful... [Recap: Dodge Roll x Attack (Blunt) x3 Blunt Weapon Student] [hp=32/36]

"Keh," spat the man as Cloud's triple string of strikes slammed him backwards, into a neighboring cart. Picking himself up out of the tomatoes-- that was going to be right difficult to get out of the cloak-- he replied, "It's a munny pouch. What kind of description are looking for?"
The man had a point. Munny pouches were small. How many more adjectives did you need?
The man fired off two more Fireballs before charging forward once more.

"Wrong answer," Cloud replied, getting hit by the first fireball and raising the Buster Sword in time to save him from the second. He cast Lightning before sending out three more blunt blows, obviously not pleased. He looked a little angry now, actually. "How do I know you're not the thief? You're the one attackin' me." "The only thief I'm aware of," the man said as he himself dodge rolled below the Lightning bolt, only to find himself facing the triple row of sword blows. "Nnngn."
He took the first and second blows, but managed a deft twist to avoid the last of them.
"The only theif I'm aware of," he tried again, sending out a final Fireball towards-- the shop?!-- "is the one who put that pouch in your possession."
The shop was starting to catch fire. He was trying to divide Cloud's attention, and he wasn't being very subtle about it-- there were people inside the shop!

"You...!" Cloud growled, seeming to take up an unearthly glow as he bore down on the strange man with three sword blows, aiming to keep him down for a moment. Cloud cast Ice on the area of fire closest to the doorway, enabling the people to escape the building with any luck. There wasn't much else he could do without letting the arsonist escape, but making sure everybody got out of the building safely took precedence in his mind, and he ran inside. Sure enough, there was a young child cowering behind a wall of fire blocking his way to the escape. It looked like everyone else had gotten out, since the smoke wasn't thick enough to block his vision just yet. Cloud rushed through the flames to the boy, hefting him up and charging back out, keeping himself between the flames and the kid. "Is everybody okay?" He asked, looking back at where the man in the cloak had gone, hoping he hadn't gotten too far. He was glad for the distraction to look elsewhere; his eyes had taken up an unearthly glow with his intense anger towards the man, and he didn't want to spook anyone. "Why, yes." a whisper replied from behind Cloud, "I'm quite fine, thank you."
A hand slipped into Cloud's pocket while the Radiant Garden defender's hands were filled with the child he'd just rescued. [ Protip: He's behind you! ]

[No way.]
"That doesn't belong to you," Cloud said, which thankfully fit with the rest of what he'd been saying. The man had gotten his wallet, but he wasn't going to mention it. Aerith was going to be upset that today's profits had been stolen by some guy, but he wasn't letting on that it was his. Cloud set the kid down on his feet, drawing the Buster Sword once more. "Get away from here, kid; it's not safe," He instructed, seeing the kid run off from the corner of his eye. "What's so important about that wallet, anyways? You act like the world's gonna end if you don't get it back," Cloud asked, charging forward and sending four more swings with the blunt side of the massive sword at his strange assailant.
If he decided to run, Cloud doubted he could catch the man, so instead he would do his best to keep him from running away if he could. With any luck, the man wouldn't know the difference between the two pouches and run away. Then, he'd be able to find out who the other bag belonged to and return it to them.

"Ah, you see," the cloaked man said, his unseen smile heard quite clearly in the tones of his voice, "I don't take kindly to this particular theif."
Fine black gloves carefully overturned the munny pouch in his hands in examination, sending the whole of Cloud's earning to the macadam.
The man in black didn't seem to notice.
"For the past few weeks, she's been doing a fair imitation of a thorn," he continued, seemingly content in his findings from searching the bag, dropping the empty purse to the ground.
"But today!" the hooded man exclaimed, safe and happy atop the burning building as he was, "Today, I finally have the free time to go about burning her home and loved ones in retribution."
...
So the bag isn't his.
"That said," he raised his arm high, a clear slight of magic appearing as he--
--as he disappeared.
...
...you know, um...
...the address he found on that munny pouch was Cloud's. - Run home and prevent the hooded psycho from burning your home down!
Fret not, HP will be displayed in the coming (and inevitable) battle royale!
- Determine the identity of this "theif" who's been bugging the psycho so much, and return her munny pouch to her!
Perhaps the psycho could be tricked into divulging more information?
