Personality:•General Persona: Bella is a woman (well, tiger, but regardless) who knows exactly who she is, and what she stands for. Over the years of her rather long life, her ideals have varied and chance, yes, but there are many aspects about herself that have not changed in the slightest. Firstly, she is confident, probably much more than most other females out there tend to be. She rarely doubts herself, and she is quite aware of what it is that she can and cannot do. Some may call her a pragmatist, but really, she doesn’t care. It’s not as though she’s trying to impress people, and quite fittingly, she believes that those who do go out of their way to put on a show for others are just destined to make a fool of themselves. Naturally, some would say that this confidence makes her egotistical, but that simply isn’t the case. She doesn’t openly brag about what she’s able to do, believing it to be just a simple fact, much in the same way that the sky is blue, and sunshine is good. That doesn’t mean that she always excels at the things she knows she can do, however. Like most people, Bella is more than prone to making small errors in judgment, falling short as anyone else does. In such instances, she tends to grow a fair bit annoyed, but at the same time, she’s the type of woman who uses it as a learning tool. Openly berating herself for falling short, Bella always claims that she’ll ‘do it better next time’ and then get right to work doing everything in her power to make up for her mistake. If that means training harder, and longer, then so be it. If it means putting other things aside until she’s sorted out the mistake, she won’t hesitate to do it. Why? Because her determination stems from the fact that she is the best, and second best is simply unacceptable for her. Having grown up always playing second fiddle to those she was far stronger and more qualified than, she realizes that appearance is everything. If she is to say that she is good at something, she has to be damn good at it, no matter what. She has never been one to give up ion anything in her life, and she always does her best to work for a goal, no matter how high or far away that goal may be. For Bella, it’s a matter of pride. When she gets a job done well, she knows that she will be praised for it, and praise means that she’s good at what she does, if not better than most others in the same field. And that’s exactly what she lives for.
Naturally, over the years, all of this has led to Bella becoming much more competitive with those around her than she normally would have been. Because she has no desire whatsoever to be in second place, she is constantly pushing herself to equal the same success as those around her. If she finds that someone is better at something than her, she will focus on what it is that said person does to make them so good at said one thing until she learns the way they work and mimic it. But of course, she couldn’t possibly stand to do things exactly the way another person had done it. She simply refuses to be a copycat – oh, pun! – and won’t give anyone the opportunity to think of her as one. Really, all the woman wants is to achieve that same cherished level of recognition as someone else, if not more, and be remembered for having been able to push herself so much harder than anyone else ever could have. This is what made her a good candidate to assist the Royal Knights, as she was constantly pushing herself harder to do things faster, more efficiently, and just generally better than anyone else that was being considered. She simply doesn’t like to acknowledge failure, having always been able to accomplish whatever she needed to in a few, if not on the first, tries. The few things she cannot do, however, stick with her and grate at her nerves like nails on a chalkboard, or the screeching of a bad violin player. She can still remember those days of years long ago, and the way that her sister always beat her out for their parents’ attention. And all through her childhood, she used that to keep her focused on improving herself as much as possible, just waiting for the chance to finally show her sibling up for once. She simply keeps the bad things as reminders to keep going, and to never give up, no matter how bleak something may look. In the past, some of those things might have made her a better person, but as she’s grown older, those things have taken a whole new twist in her mind. Each bad experience becoming worse than the ones before it, Bella has used them as the focus for her drive to make herself perfect, dissecting each and every situation to the point that she is able to figure out what exactly it is that she needs to fix before she can make up for that particular mistake. Oh, she isn’t able to hit the rewind button, but she can certainly prove that she’s learned from her mistakes and grown stronger, and that she will never allow events to repeat themselves, no matter what. She’s just strong and independent, answering to nobody but herself, and she does not apologize for her actions, believing that whatever she does is right at the time, even if it turns out to be wrong later. But even then, she’ll just shrug things off, refusing to go back and fix them just because someone else tells her to. To do so would mean admitting she’s made an error, which just goes against her nature. In her mind, errors are not errors – they’re learning experiences.
As can only be expected from what has already been said, Bella is not the type to forgive easily. She holds grudges against people, and uses them as a way to judge them even years later, despite the fact that they may have actually changed. And perhaps this has made her bitter over the years – though she’d never use that word to describe herself – but she refuses to admit it. In her own mind, she’s above such petty behavior, but the fact of the matter is, she can have quite a temper when she lets it get the best of her. Old grudges make her see red, and chances are that she may do something that she wouldn’t normally do when she’s in control of herself. These bouts of rage are generally short lived, and afterward she simply straightens herself up and walks away as though she has done nothing wrong, but even still, they’re certainly not healthy. In such moments, Bella cannot be expected to hold back; she lets loose with a fury fitting of the more feral members of her species, unleashing all of her hurt and anger she carries within her, making her downright dangerous. These bouts of anger have certainly become less frequent since she became associated with the Royal Knights, but she is still prone to ‘flaring up’ now and again when someone says or does something that she doesn’t like. She has constantly been told that perhaps she does not deserve to be a member of the Knights because of the way she is, and though she has learned to embrace the way she is and work on controlling it, she’s never quite been able to ignore what others think of her. The fact that so many would look down upon her because of her personality, which really isn’t in her control, never ceases to baffle and upset her, and it certainly does sit well with the tigress. Many underestimate her because she seems to let her anger control her, but beneath that angry, uncontrollable facade lies the heart of a warrior who isn’t afraid to fight to protect her home. Whatever the case, Bella understands that she may not ever be good enough for certain people, and she realizes that she will just have to work hard to be good enough for those that understand her drive to be the best.
And though Bella is so closely associated with the renowned Knights, that doesn’t mean she is the sort of person to ‘take one for the little squirrel,’ or stand up for someone weaker than her. She has never cared for those who would easily give up, give in, or are incapable of standing on their own two feet, and refuses to have dealings with those who can’t take care of themselves. Her father taught her that; the man never stepped in to fight for anyone, not even his daughter, so why should she bother to step in for someone else? As a result, she’s a believer in every man for himself – a belief that’s always caused a bit of tension between her and her allies. When she’s given a task to do, she’ll do it for her own reasons, meaning that the orders would really have to benefit her in some way. Otherwise, she’d simply refuse to do it. No amount of loyalty to the King – though she has a fair bit, all things considered – can change that; she will only do something she feels is worthy of her drive and attention. If it isn’t, she simply won’t bother. But don’t be mistaken, Bella isn’t all drive, determination, and assertive nature. Though she doesn’t hesitate or doubt herself when it comes to her ability to do something, she does feel something is lacking within her. She just lives for the here and now, and if that makes it harder for her to let loose completely and try not to do everything in such a way that earns her a nod of approval, then so be it. Bella isn’t one to get teary-eyed over something, either. She’s just not the emotional type; she’s rather plain, rather simple, and quite blunt. What one sees is generally what one gets, no questions asked. And though Bella can’t quite put her finger on what it is she is lacking, she doesn’t feel she’s missing out on certain aspects of her life by concentrating on her efforts to finally become a member of the Knights.
She’s always thrown herself into things one hundred percent, and her various ideals she has followed over the years have simply been a result of her following her gut. Bella just does what she feels is write; she doesn’t debate things. She doesn’t hesitate. When she needs to, she weighs her options, and then does what she feel is best for her - she doesn’t consider others, and perhaps that makes her selfish, but she’s never stopped to consider others in the past. In her mind, making herself happy is more important than anything else, and as far as she can tell, that’s all anyone really cares about anyway. She’s loyal to herself, and few others – the Royal Family and certain members of the court, to be more precise. She doesn’t offer people a shoulder to cry on, and if they ask for her opinion, she’ll give it, without the slightest bit of hesitation or sugarcoating. She also certainly won’t offer to hold someone’s hand if they are in need of help, either; she leaves them to make their own mistakes or victories on their own, just as she herself has always done. She can be wild and reckless in her anger, but that’s because she just puts her heart into everything she does, as was already mentioned. She’s really just a simple person, actually. She doesn’t make apologies for who she is, she has few regrets in her life, and has no problem being a bit of a loner. For her, she’s a cut above the rest, slightly better, slightly more advanced. Everyone else simply needs to catch up with her, and one day they might actually do that. Sure, she might wish she had something more to work toward in her life, but Bella doesn’t allow herself to think about the future too much. Tomorrow is susceptible to too far too much change for her to plan her entire future in a stone engraving. She would much rather wait and see how things play out, choosing her paths one day at a time, and following them until a new path pops up. There’s no backtracking, no mercy, no forgiveness, and no forgetting. Bella lives with the knowledge that her life will only ever be what she makes of it, and that she will only be the person she wants herself to be. Nothing and no one can ever change that fact.
•Inner Thought Process: "What do I think? Well... I know that I need to be the best. There's no question about that. And I'll do whatever I have to, no matter what that may be, to be the best. Whether it means sabotaging others, or just being a generally nasty person, I won't hesitate. If it needs to be done to improve myself, and bring me that much closer to perfection, then I have no problem doing it. I also believe in getting things done quickly, efficiently, and in the best way possible. If I'm given a task to do, I wouldn't dawdle around. I'll do everything in my power to get it done as fast as possible, while still doing the best job possible. Simply put, I thrive on perfection, and I want to be perfect. And if that makes me an unpleasant person, then so be it."

But Your History Decides Your Version of "Responsibility"
History: Years and years ago, back when the now majestic world known as Disney Castle was but a monochrome, simple place, there lived a pair of young, ambitious tigers who made a living as simple farmhands. And much as the pair loved their lives, they always felt as though something was... missing. Thus, they could not have been any happier when they birthed a daughter, whom they named Belladonna. Even with the addition of a new member of their family, however, their lives remained much the same – very simple, and very happy. And come to think of it, much of the early portion of Bella’s life would fit into that simple theme – she lived a very simple childhood, learning to crawl before she could walk, babble before she could actually talk, and eventually learned to do things most other young children did. From a young age, her parents tried to instill into her the idea of being a farmhand just like them, but they could tell right from the get-go that farming was not what the young tigress desired to do. Thus, her father took to teaching her basic hand-to-hand combat, something that they could tell she loved. And, as many children did, she began to take after her father, gaining the ability to be self-assured so as to make her father proud of her. This could be seen all throughout Bella’s childhood, as she refused to let anyone push her around, a result of her father not offering to tell the one child that persisted to stop. Her father explained to her that she needed to learn to fight her own fights, and not let others fight for her. And with that in mind, she taught the little boy a lesson, despite the punishment she was given as a result. But in her mind, it was worth it. She was a proud, noble tigress, and she was not about to allow some punk belittle her.
As time went on, Bella learned that by standing up for herself and attempting to be self-sufficient, she was bringing more trouble to herself than her father had probably ever intended. Unlike most girls her age, Bella was an active, outgoing girl, who loved any sort of physical effort, no matter how difficult. She would often find herself racing the boys and doing her best to come in first of all the competitions she was involved in. And whenever she came in second, she could cry foul and call for a rematch, pushing herself harder and harder until she was the best – which made her feel better about herself. She was just not the sort of girl to ever come in second more than once, if at all. So by the time that she reached her thirties – nearing the age of maturity for anthropomorphs like her, she was a rough and tumble sort of woman. She wouldn’t dress in frilly dresses very often, instead choosing to be the one out there improving her fighting abilities, or helping out on the farm. As long as she was moving, and doing something, she was happy. And thus, years later, when the Castle had finally been built around the famed Cornerstone of Light, and the idea of creating guards for the Royal Family was approved, it should come as no surprise that she desired more than anything else to become a member of that guard. It would be her greatest accomplishment.
Signing up and undergoing rigorous training, Bella seemed to be destined for greatness. She was faster, stronger, and more enthusiastic than many of her fellow aspiring Knights, and even came close to gaining a position within the ground. However, she was not granted membership as a result of her... less than desirable attitude, and was instead forced to make do with assisting them whenever they called upon her. And of course, this did not sit well with her. The young tigress continued to fight alongside her allies despite that fact, determined to eventually prove that, her attitude notwithstanding, she was perfectly suited to be a member. She was strong, ambitious, and ruthless. And she was not going to let something as stupid as her personality stop her from being the greatest. And so, in the years that have passed, she has continued to be a loyal ally to the Knights, serving the King without hesitation. Yet, her desire to join has not lessened in the slightest. She is just waiting for the right moment. Her moment to shine.
