Oh great. She was going to insist on that foolish 'future self' story. "I already know you aren't from the future, so cut the act." Draconas squinted towards the light source. It really hurt, and the glare made it impossible to make out what it looked like. "I'll need you to help me however I need it. If I tell you to do something, do it. I may just be able to fix this...whatever it is."
The dark mage pointed his gauntlet at the source, as best as he could, and sent three balls of dark energy from it towards the source. Hopefully that would be enough, but, if not, he could always cast one of his darkness spells.

"You mean you think you know I'm not from the future!" Yuffie corrected the man. After all, he had no proof otherwise! "And whatever you say, Mr. Dragonos!"
Yuffie slipped herself to have a tree between her person and the light source. the little sparklies flying out of it were getting more annoying by a second. Speaking of the little glowing lights, they seemed to rush out more quickly for a moment as Draconas blasted the unknown generator with his Dark Aura-enhanced weapon. Aside from their increased activity for a few seconds, possibly owing to agitation, things seemed to return to normal quickly. Normal for this particular criss, anyway.
"You want to try punching it next?" the ninja offered.

Draconas lowered his glove that had been raised to strike. "Erm...no, that most likely will not succeed." Pointing a single finger at the generator of unknown origin, Draconas summoned a strong burst of dark energy, centered on what he thought was the center of the generator.
"Maybe this will work, if my other attacks would not succeed."

There was a much stronger reaction now, causing the light to pulse brighter and dimmer over and over again for a few seconds after Draconas' latest attempt. The glittering sparkles blasted out of it in thick waves during the brighter moments, but the anomaly resumed its previous state soon enough.
"Hey, I think you're on to something. Or at least I hope you're on to something," Yuffie said as encouragingly as possible. She had no idea if these reactions were a good thing or a bad thing, after all.

Draconas sighed a sigh of relief, a grin forming on his face. "Looks like it doesn't like dark energy. Guess I'll have to hit is harder, then!" He sent a secondary explosion of dark energy into it, a smaller one. The next, a ball of dark energy appeared in his hand. Dark Blast, his mind thought. Perfect. The ball launched into the darkness, immediately followed by another burst of dark energy, five feet in diameter.
"Is that good enough?"

The light source reacted the same as it had previously at first, but as Draconas slammed more and more dark power into it the fluctuations of light became more and more violent and the sparkles stopped flowing out completely by the time he blasted it with his final spell. After that the light dimmed down very low and all of the small lights that had already emerged from the source stopped moving around all well, each one stuck in the air like an illusion of space and its numerous stars lit up all around them.
"Is... is it over?" Yuffie asked tentatively from behind her tree, risking a peek out from around it. Draconas would be able to feel his dark energy slowly overtaking the light energy that was present at the center of the event, the two forces soon becoming equal to each other.

"I think so," Draconas answered, holding his hands over his eyes, afraid to look for fear of what he may have caused. Peeking out, the dark mage sighed. His dark energy was overtaking the light. He won, kind of.
"This is good. I think we did it." So long as the dark energy didn't completely balance the light or replace it, they would be fine. "Now, I think you owe me your name, at least. First name, I don't need the last." Hopefully, she wouldn't try her 'time traveler' facade this time.

Yuffie was about to explain to him that everyone in her future had grown past names and just taken on ID numbers, she having grown fond of being a time traveler by now, but the very much present-day ninja did not get the chance. There was a loud whooshing noise like a vacuum that blasted out from the core of the disturbance once the light and dark energies had reached equal amounts.
This noise came specifically from the fact that every little sparkle that had drifted out from the cause of the light show was now rushing back in toward it at breakneck speed and causing a powerful attracting force as they did so. With barely a moment to realize what was happening both Yuffie and Draconas would feel as if they had suddenly falling into a wind tunnel, forcibly yanked off of their feet and pulled violently toward the cause of the incident.
"AAAHH!" Was the surprised yelp that Draconas would receive instead of an answer to hsi question as Kisaragi reacted quickly and jabbed her Grapple Line into a tree as she passed it, holding on to a short length of it for dear life as she was dragged inward toward the unknown.

Draconas smiled. Yep, that was it. He was about to interrupt her, because he knew she'd be spouting some other nonsense, trying to keep her story straight, when, all of a sudden, the ground was not down anymore. Instinctively, he grabbed a stone that was stuck in the ground and help on for dear life.
"You didn't say anything about it becoming a black hole!" he shouted at the girl, hazarding a glance behind him. I'm going to die because some girl needed my help to stop some motes of light or some such. This is the worst death ever.
