The general populace, by way of ringing bells and word of mouth, was called to the bastion that made of Ansem the Wise's home. And there he spoke. "Friends, I fear the Anomaly that attacked us not so long ago has fallen on a neighboring world-- one of that we have only now discovered thanks to the signal sent to us. "These are good people-- we can be sure of this. Their light shines as great as our own, here on Radiant Garden. "And these same people have called on us to aid them in their time of need." The great doors of the castle opened, revealing castle guards and one blue robed man bringing out a rather large archway of some kind, made of yellow and grey stone. "People of Radiant Garden," Ansem continued, "I ask for your compassion, and your bravery. Here we stand, having once forced back this Anomaly once, with a choice in our hands. "Do we help these people, who have the same threat looming over them as we, too, did?" Merlin-- for it was he with his great beard and blue attire-- pulled out his great white wand, and gave the arch it's due tap. And the archway was filled with a swash of light and magic. "I cannot garauntee safety in this venture of goodwill-- you have all seen the danger looming beyond this portal. But we cannot go about our daily lives, and feign ignorance of this call for help. "To all the able bodied, the strong of Heart, I ask you step forward now and help save this neighboring world." [ All Radiant Garden citizen wishin' to get in on the Storm Day over on Disney Castle need only post here with a quick (or monolougey) jot into and through the portal to enter one of the Storm Day threads in Disney Castle. NOTE: You will not be able to stay in Disney Castle after the Storm Day unless you close your current threads/Quests/etc. here first. This means the only thread you can enter in Disney Castle is the Storm Day thread of your choosing.
So, any volunteers? ]

It wasn’t a hard decision to make. Jillian made her way through the crowd of people towards archway that had been enchanted with Merlin’s magic. She was going to help, without a doubt. She knew what to expect and could handle the smaller baddies on her own, not that she would be alone, she hoped. Even if she was, it’d be only a matter of time before someone showed up to help her like last time. This was the only reason that she felt it was safe enough to go.
Finally, she managed to break through the crowd. She broke into a run and dashed right through the portal.

When Yuffie spotted Jillian in the crowd she made herself hidden(As best she could) to keep from being spotted. It was pretty easy considering the crowd, but Yuffie wasn't ready to fight side-by-side along the girl if she could help it. 'If it's anything like last time there should be plenty of battlegrounds to pick from.'
The ninja smirked when she saw the girl go through the portal. Of course she expected nothing less of her. After enough time had passed for Jillian to move on and get caught up in the battle Yuffie flipped up over the front row of spectators and rushed through the gateway. Staying hidden from Jill meant her friends like Kairi wouldn't have spotted her so they could go through together either, but if Kairi was able to get past the castle guards and through the portal it would be a feat in and of itself.
'Try not to get hurt everyone,' the ninja wished for her comrades both known and unknown as she moved magically between worlds.

So, the light hadn't been some sort of herald for Sephiroth. That was good. It was a call from a different world in need of assistance. That was even worse than Cloud's first thought. Cloud drew out the Buster Sword as soon as the magic gate was opened. He couldn't sit around and let some other world get invaded; he wouldn't be able to live with himself if he turned a blind eye.
"Come what may; I'm ready," Cloud said, more to himself than to anyone else, charging through the magic gate and into who knew what.

Before anyone can stop him, a small child with a large golden shield bursts from the crowd and dives into the portal without a second word. [/blockquote]

If her father had an important announcement, then of course Kairi was going to be there. Twas a very important announcement, another world needed their help. Considering Kairi's recent curiosity about other worlds, combine with feeling compelled to do something; it was clear that she'd be tagging along for this adventure.

During the last invasion, Myra'd kept her self cooped up. This time, she intended to be of help; especially after such a display of magic! The young woman could hardly contain herself. Without making any eye contact, or saying any goodbyes, she slid out into the open and entered the portal.

Rip walked brusquely through the crowd after the announcement, striding forward towards the portal.
Normally, he'd find some way to charge for his services, but perhaps that could wait until after the attack had ended. He'd find some way to make up for it, that much was certain.
Silently, he entered the light.

Aerith had had some chores to finish before she headed but she managed to catch some of the speech and was willing to help out, but what was she to expect there? She watched as her fellow town folk along with Yuffie, Cloud and Kairi walk into the archway full of light. She made her way through the crowd after some stranger she didn't know walked into the light. She had her rod strapped to her back and was decked out in her pink dress (FF7) with red jacket. Her hair was back as to not get into her way. She hadn't known what she expect as she got the news but Anonamly weren't good so she knew that there might be fighting involved. She wasn't the best at fighting but she could hold her own. She was more of a supportive but wouldn't hesitate to attack if need be. She stepped into the light following the others. She had no hesitation to walk through, she knew her friends would be there and that she would try her hardest to not get in the way; though that probably wouldn't be the problem.

Ivolt sighed as he moved towards the pillar of light. It wasn't like him to just ignore things like this, and he wasn't gonna just let that stand any longer.
Adjusting his bandanna and cloak, he made sure he was ready to go wherever this thing took him. A single thought popped into his head as he walked in, 'No point in lounging around while someone else gets hurt. Just gotta make sure I don't end up hurt from all this...'
And then he vanished, whisked away by the magic.

Akilah looked at the glowing portal with a wistful air about her eyes.
Her hair, unbound by the hood that so often tucked it back, fluttered in the day's wind, itching away at her eyebrows.
The air felt... cold. Cold as water, in the great shade of the castle.
And her hands...
Akilah turned her head down, her eyebrows furrowed as she looked at her open, yearning hands.
Her hands... felt empty.
Determination took Akilah. What might have been of their own accord, the woman's feet lurched forward, taking the robed figure through the bustling crowd gathered at Ansem the Wise's feet.
Akilah Aultman, loner, had always been aimless.
No end goal, no meaning, no hope for the next day.
But as her yellow eyes looked into the depths of Merlin's portal, and she broke free of the crowd...
I can do something here, Akilah thought. Something that will last.
I will not stand aside as these enemies attack again.
Akilah's palm was filled as her fingers closed down, a well made fist appearing.
And she walked forward.

In the front of the crowd stood a hooded figure, a permanent smirk plastered on his features. Kyril Sebastian Brandian could only feel sadistic glee, twisted anticipation of the bloodshed he might witness. That delightful red colour... he flicked his hidden blade in and out, in and out. This blade wanted to meet someone.
In.
Kyril's smirk became a grin, then a maniacal chuckle. He let it die back down to a smirk, feeling eyes shift to him from the clumsy old geezer and portal. They were wondering what he was laughing about. But they would never know. Kyril stepped forward, and without fear - he knew no fear, whether light or darkness - and stepped into the portal.
