Tidus stood there, his right hand cusping his chin in thought as they both spoke up.
"Haha, well two for three of us need to get our uniforms. One of us is good at shopping for food. It sounds like a good idea to split up but there's only four errands. I think it'll be alright to just tackle them all together, besides..."
He moved his right hand from his chin to the back of his head. He couldn't help but laugh nervously, yet all the same..."I'd like to invite you guys for dinner after we head to the island. Let's say that it's a reward for helping me out and my mom made the offer anyway." he blushed slightly, breaking that personal ground a bit but they weren't getting any younger, so why not?
"I-If you guys need to get permission, we can split once we've gotten everything, then meet up at the island to confirm?" he suggested, though perhaps even that wasn't the right way to go. I mean if he was inviting them, he should probably ask their parents directly.
"Though I guess asking your parents directly would be more c-c...er what's that word, ah I guess it'd be proper manners?" No way Tidus was remembering a spelling word during summer break, maybe he'd get back into the swing of things when school picked up.
